“They are horrible. My event that was schedule for December 2024 was cancel and Ticketmaster sent an email that it was. Til this day I am waiting on my refund from Stubhub and they keep telling me in their system the event is postponed not cancel. Then when I show the email they keep saying you are right we notified the correct personal to handle this. I write every week and every week I get the same response.”
“Why can't I give this a negative 10? Sold tickets, and it's been over 1 month, (25 business days) and still have not received payment. Each time I call, they add another step, but when I ask is there anything else to be done, I'm told, no, the money will be deposited into you account. Stubhub is easy to take your money, but you need to fight every step of the way to receive it. BUYER, BE AWARE!!!”
“Email provided gave me an address that took me to park else where. There I had to pay to stay or go through the entire traffic jam again to relocate and park in the right place”
“Paid $1000 per seat for a view that you couldn’t see anything obviously, I said, partially obstructive view when I bought the ticket, but it should be totally obstructed. No one should ever have to sit in these seats. You couldn’t see the stage. You couldn’t see a person we just left the concert and went by the bathrooms and watched it total disgrace. You shouldn’t even sell these tickets”
“I purchased tickets and a parking pass to an event. The email to accept the ticket transfer show as being delivered to me 3 hours before the event on the StubHub site, but the emails never arrived.
I had to pay for parking and purchase new tickets when I arrived. StubHub customer service won’t refund the money for the tickets because their site shows that the emails were delivered.
Save yourself money and purchase from a different ticket provider!”
“When I got to the venue my parking pass didn’t work and I was already in line to enter the venue. I had to purchase a new parking pass to let me through and then when I called to get my refund due to their pass not working, they refused and are not giving me back my money. Customer beware, that when you purchase a ticket through StubHub and it won’t work at the venue, they are refusing to give you your money back. I’m still trying to figure out how this is even legal as their ticket never worked and was never used. It should be a complete refund. Will keep everyone updated with how this turns out as I am still trying to get my $78 back from StubHub for a ticket that wasn’t used nor worked upon entry.”
“I would leave zero stars but i can’t, i have used stubhub for a long time its always been in canadian funds just noticed my last jays game was in us funds, when did this change i never changed my settings, last time i get ripped off!!!”
“I purchased three tickets for The Wiggles. When I purchased these tickets, there were originally two shows for the one and only day they are in town. I chose the 11pm showing, purchased the tickets and, received an email verifying my purchase. The email showed 11pm. All was well, we were very excited! I, then, needed to download the Ticketmaster app on my phone, moved the tickets. I followed every instruction. When I was finished, I noticed that my tickets now said 6pm! My heart sunk. I was so confused as to what went wrong. We organized care for our baby, rearranged our schedules etc. all to accommodate the 11pm showing. I fully understand that times are subject to change. I understand that showings get canceled. My issue is that Stub Hub clearly doesn't do a very good job at updating this information, or contacting you with an email to inform you of this massive change! I called Ticketmaster in a panic, the lady was friendly, but again, only saw one show instead of two and that my tickets are for the 6pm show. She didn't see any other times. The Wiggles had made a change to their tour. Fair! We are just happy we get to see them. I had to quickly figure out everything all over again to make this work now for a much later show. Today, the day of the show, I'm receiving emails from StubHub that STILL lists my tickets as 11pm! Incredibly annoying. Not updating your information for customers who are paying a good chunk of money to see concerts, is completely unacceptable! One star for a major flaw in your booking system, poor customer service, and overall lack of care. Fix this issue for your customers ASAP. It's very annoying, frustrating, and stressful. We will not be using, or recommending Stubhub in the future.”
“I too paid for a parking pass which was represented by the StubHub website as at the event location. The parking was in fact miles away from the event location. Why would I pay a premium to park so far away? Customer service's only response was to put the parking pass up for sale again (i.e., seeing if there was another unwary purchaser to go for the bait and switch). Will never use StubHub again.”
“StubHub is a joke..I bought tickets for Metallica, suicidal tendencies and pantera at Bank of America stadium in Charlotte..could not load my tickets with the link that was sent to me,tickets could not be found at the venue site with order number,e-mail or phone number.called stubhub and was informed that I get no refund and there is nothing they can do for my situation.ALSO could not park in area we payed for because it was blocked off….WE WILL NEVER USE STUBHUB AGAIN”
“I just had one of the worst buying experiences of my life on StubHub—and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. I was excited to grab Bruno Mars tickets and clicked on what was labeled an “Amazing Deal” for $292 per ticket. What wasn’t obvious? The $67 per ticket in hidden fees that didn’t show up until the very last screen, after I entered my info and was on a countdown timer to complete the purchase.
By the time I saw the full price—over $700 total—I was too far in, emotionally committed, and under pressure to finish before time ran out. That’s not excitement, that’s manipulation. This is a textbook bait-and-switch tactic dressed up in bright colors and fake urgency.
I called StubHub within minutes of realizing the mistake, only to be told: “All sales are final.” My only option? Release the tickets back to StubHub to resell them on my behalf, with no guarantee I’ll ever see my money again. American Express couldn’t help either—StubHub has made themselves dispute-proof by design.
Their entire platform is built around hiding true costs, tricking buyers into impulsive decisions, and avoiding accountability. It might be legal, but it’s borderline criminal in how it treats customers.
If you value transparency, fairness, or your money, stay far away from StubHub. I’ve learned my lesson the hard way—and this company will never get another dollar from me.”
“I purchased a parking pass from this company, after purchasing tickets to my event from them. Once I received my parking pass (which was a $15 ticket, and I was charged 60), the parking was a hour and twenty minute walk from the event. Stubhub stated for two weeks that they would get me the correct parking pass, just to blame the fault on me the day of the event. I never received the tickets that was promised to me, but I did receive a I'm sorry from the representative that I was talking to.”
“I will never buy tickets from them again! I purchased 2 tickets to a WNBA game in Atlanta in March 2025. I never received the tickets. Each time they sent a link, it said no tickets. This went on for 2 months ! I was assured that I would get either my original tickets or replacement tickets under their fan guarantee. The day of the game, still no tickets and they send a link after I called them with 45 minutes before the game, tickets were sold out! Which I knew they would be! I called them every week for 2 months, no tickets! This was a graduation gift for my granddaughter! Thanks StubHub for disappointing her!”
“Recently purchased tickets through stubhub and found out a week later that I would not be able to attend, so I decided to sell the tickets through their platform as they recommended. A few days after the sale, the person I had purchased the tickets from canceled the order. Since I had sold those same tickets, and this was all done through stubhubs platform, I figured it should be a simple process to resolve, especially as I had not received any money from the sale yet. After a two hour long conversation with three different customer support representatives, I was given various conflicting information about whether I would be charged to supply the ticket I had sold. Once the third customer service representative informed and assured me that if I followed her exact process, I would not be charged as I was not the one responsible for canceled the tickets (which is also what is clearly stated in their terms and conditions). Come to find out today that I was charged 400 USD to supply the replacement ticket, which I will be disputing with my credit card company with documentation of all communication from the first two communications (did not record the phone call I had with the third representative unfortunately). Genuinely avoid wasting you time and money with these people, and just find your tickets elsewhere. If you do run into a hiccup, you will need to spend hours to resolve a simple issue, for which you WILL be charged for even though you were clearly told you would not be.”
“Terrible don’t ever but from here. I purchased a ticket and the seller never gave my any information. I called stub hub and they said they couldn’t replace my ticket which is on their policy. So they said a refund was the only option. I was already at the entrance for the concert. DONT BUY FROM HERE”
“i paid for a parking pass and the venue closed all access to the stadium. i was diverted away from the venue and wasn't able to use them. Stub hub basically told me to suck on it”
“The worst business I’ve ever delt with, customer service is horrible. No help at all. I was left stranded in a city I traveled to and a hotel I paid fir with no tickets to the event”
“This has been a horrible experience. I will tell anyone to never use this site. I purchased tickets for my mom’s birthday, she’s turning 75 by the way. I get an email that it’s no longer the original artist that I purchased the tickets for but it’s Kodak Black! I call customer service to find out what’s going on. I’m told that because the original concert was not cancelled but the artist was changed I could not get a refund or any other accommodation. Either we go see Kodak Black or forfeit the tickets. If this is not the worst form of BS. This is a complete SCAM!!!!”
