“Rubbish courier company - unable to leave an alternative contact number for delivery as being delivered to a block of flats rather than a house. A message left on their answerphone was unanswered. When the delivery was made, a corner of the brand new mattress was soiled and a complaint had to be made to the retailer. Also, a bulky item (not extremely heavy) and I was told that they didn't do stairs so I had to carry it up a flight of stairs myself. Not happy with my experience of this company - do not recommend at all!”
“Absolute joke of a company emailed twice yesterday rang countless times still nothing! supposed to have a delivery yesterday nothing no update on the tracker or anything a micky mouse company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!”
“Our driver had an extremely poor attitude and was quite aggressive, even attempting to force his way back into my property after a disagreement about how he had damaged one of the parcels when he slammed it down onto the floor in my house. He damaged my front door in an aggressive rage to get a signature and when I told him I wanted to check the parcel for damage before signing he stormed off without a signature. He verbally abused me and was threatening in his behaviour.
I made a complaint to XDP about the experience and received no response.
Since then I have waited for two further deliveries and collection of the damaged parcel, only to see him turn up to my property, sit in his van then drive off again.
After speaking to XDP's customer service team it appears that I have been placed on their blacklist and been told that no deliveries will be made from the XDP to my address again. I have asked to find a resolution to this situation but so far only been told that I should receive a callback at some point.”
“This is the first time I've ever had a delivery from XDP and the reviews left me more than a little worried, but I needn't have been. Local depot is about 12 miles from me and they turned up bang in the middle of their allotted two hour delivery window and even though the original shipper had grossly underestimated the items weight (from a safe 1-man lifting POV) the driver was more than happy to carry the item in and was polite & helpful thru it all. Reviews on any courier service are so much about driver/staff and perhaps I'm lucky that all the services in my area (now including XDP) are excellent.”
“I ordered a mattress on 7/8/17 it was to be delivered 10/8 -14/8, the updates on the tracking were unsatisfactory. I found a contact address and communicated directly, I also contacted the seller who said on investigation the courier ran out of delivery time so returned it to the depot. When I e mailed XPD I was told they had tried to deliver it and put a card through the door, however there was no card. Also saying it would be delivered on 16th between 3.30 to 5.30 pm It eventually came on Weds 16th in the morning when we were out and was left in the porch. Next time I order something I will check who the courier is before I order! The seller was a good communicator and we were pleased with our purchase.”
“We bought a chair from The Range. It was to be delivered on Friday 28 July by XDP. It did not arrive. Finally it was delivered on 29 July at 18.00. After unpacking it and finding 2 faults with the chair The Range arranged for XDP to call and pick it up and take it away for a refund as no replacements were available as they had sold out and were not getting any more. It is now three weeks since it was requested for collection. They promised it would be collected yesterday but nobody came and nobody telephoned to say they were not coming either!. We can't have a refund of our money (£160) until the chair is back in The Range's depot.....WHEN WILL THAT BE!!!!”
“I have never experienced such a courier service like XDP express. I've ordered 2 x rugs from a company The Rug Shop on 9th August 2017 and they used XDP Couriers as the delivery option and gave me a tracking number to track their process. This XDP added info on their website as allocated to the vehicle, carded, etc....this been going on now for several days and delivery not been made yet.They stated that their driver attempted to make delivery and left me a missed card, NOT TRUE their driver never showed up and the only option to rearrange is to call their office which is a number 0844 charged to 50p per minute. This company should be banned in UK and not allowed to cheat their customers like this. I now decided to cancel this order and The Rug Shop for a refund of the money I paid. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!”
“After 10 days and FOUR promised delivery days nothing has been delivered and cant get through to customer helpline. Beyond frustrated. Wish I'd had the foresight to read the reviews first because they all explain our situation, over and over. Yet another incompetent company. How the hell do they stay in business?”

“Was advised I would be getting a delivery during a specified time but nothing showed up.
I took unpaid leave to be here and it was a mattress for my 7 year old so now he has nothing to sleep on. I tried to get a number for the driver earlier in the day but the depot did not pick up and the customer services was non existent too. I will make a complaint to the sender of goods I brought hoping they will change their service provider.”

“When our delivery did not arrive as promised in the 2 hour window stated in their text message we didn't think much of it. When I found out that the delivery courier was XDP I started to be concerned. And rightly so. The no show was not followed by reason or apology. Had to chase them up and after numerous calls (that were disconnected), left messages and incompetent staff, it was promised the next day (Saturday). Didn't hear anything. Nor delivered anything. Called main XDP phone line. They couldn't get through to the depot to find out why the delivery hadn't occured. I wonder if I'll get my goods. Pretty much a shambles of a company. I've started avoiding companies that use XDP as their courier as it's an exercise in frustation and a lottery of receiving your order via them!”
“The parcel that we received was a sapling in a tall box which clearly stated the box should remain upright.
We were in to receive the delivery but your delivery driver didn't even attempt to knock at the door.
Lastly but not least, the box which contained the sapling was left outside our front door UPSIDE DOWN. As you can imagine, the sapling was not in the best of shapes when the box was opened - one of the branches had broken off and most were squashed due to your delivery drivers inability to read simple instructions on the box which I'm sure are on many delivery boxes.
We would not use you as a courier if we had the choice and I can see from many reviews on your website that not many of your customers happy with your service either!!”
