No communication, no accountability, constantly palming off responsibility. “Terrible customer service I’ve been waiting 7 weeks to recieve my phone back and apparently they still have no updates. They either totally blank your emails and live chat or they tell you the same thing that there chasing updates!!!”
“Dreadful. I rang them within 14 days of contract starting. They have no record of this. Phone is a Honor magic4lite. It does not get signal in my house. I looked for wifi calling and not on phone. Affordable mobiles told me to contact Honor. I was emailing honor for weeks, starting 4/10/22 before they arranged a repair. Came back, still not working. Wifi calling now on phone and enabled and it says emergency calls. Emails to Affordable mobiles. They don't care. As far as they are concerned its now out of 30 days so they say they will repair the phone but I have to pay nearly £9 for postage and if they deem faulty they will refund the cost.
They even tried to say it was Honors responsibility until I quoted the law to them stating within 6 months its their responsibility. But I have tried to explain to them that I did contact them on 4th October 2022. Contract started 23/9/22. They just won't listen. I will never use this retailer again. I missed a call from the hospital when my dad was dying and was not there for my dad which has broken my heart. Many important calls just go straight to answering machine. And if you read Honor Forum it states this is a known fault from day one. Avoid using this retailer as they are uncaring and just want your money. Please remember that within 14 days you have a right to cancel. Within 30 days you have a right to exchange the phone. After that and up to 6 months, it is the retailer that must prove the phone was not faulty from day one. they may also charge for returning your phone if they can't find a fault to take screen shots of the fault if possible. Video it from another phone. and if they don't listen, bad mouth them to all and social media. Also Honor are as much use as a chocolate fireguard. Emailed them 2 weeks ago and no reply.”
“the phone arrived ok and within good time however, i was signed up without my knowledge for a direct debit monthly mobile insurance of £12.99. going back and checking their website it clearly states that you have to opt-in for this - however i certainly did not opt-in - rather shady behaviour.”

“Received a faulty phone. For 2 days I have been trying to speak to someone to help me without any success the chat asked me to contact Vodafone .Vodafone ask me to contact affordable mobiles customer services and. Customer services asked me said sorry I can't help you and gave me number to call
I rang I was told to send an email to carel@affordable.co.uk .I did .until now no reply l. No on wanted to take responsibility

“Horrendous service I returned the original phone within 7 days and changed to another phone with them. They however took that long to cancel the original order that I’m now having to pay for 2 phones which I can’t afford and I can’t get my old number back! I’ve wasted hours and hours trying to contact them and you can only contact them via live chat not over the phone to discuss complaints. I’ve sent over 4 emails with the same message we’re chasing it up!
I will never use this company again and will be getting advice on how to take this further!
I’m also not sure the phones are new and not refrusbished as they battery on them doesn’t seem to last like a new phone normally does!”
“Keep calling even though have requested multiple times to leave alone, literally harassment now, "staff" all rude and patronising and seem to enjoy targeting vulnerable people with an almost sick pleasure. Need to be shut down.”
“I wasn’t happy with my service provider so cancelled within my cooling off period which they never actually cancelled and now 3 months later still being charged, i have contacted them and they are proving extremely difficult to deal with! Making me chase the old provider and chase them before they do anything with this! I got a contract through that company and when I cancelled and sent the phone back it’s up to them to cancel the contract which they haven’t! I would never use this company again and I advise anyone to do the same to save yourself stress and a lot of hassle.”

“Sent the wrong mobile nearly 6 weeks later still mot put it right. Emails asking the same question several times. Always an excuse. Had the wrong phone back for 2 weeks and they asked me where it was!!! Terrible communication even inside the company. Keep being promised compensation but nothing seen yet. Thinking of going to trading standards.”
