Not enough vegan options. Veganuary was good while it lasted but now all the stores I have been in have nothing left! Now I have to go back to shopping elsewhere to get everything I need. Vegan is a lifestyle not a phase.

We bought a lasagne from Aldi which used to be good but it now peppery, mush instead of meat and no genuine Italian flavour. Very disappointed. All their food appears to have chilli and pepper in everything!!!! Not they had on their selves 10years ago with good European food.

20 pack tie up refuse sacks. Won't tie up or fit the dustbin because the yellow tie is stuck in its 'channel' . Manufacturing fault .

My 2star rating was given , based on service today at Aldi Harlescott.,13.15. No hand gel by front door. Till person was touching her nose and mouth then rubbed her eye whilst serving the person infront of me. When it was my turn I noticed that she didnt use hand gel ,I asked her if she could use before handling my produce. She did this straight away She then complained to her colleague that Id asked her to do it, the following customer said 'poor you , your hands must be sore, ' I could have refrained from this review, but on hearing her remarks, I felt it necessary to comment.I tried calling the store but no pick up. I really do feel that till persons should gel up before each customer to help keep us all safe.

Aldi Chicken Tikka Masala has been changed and not for the better. I have purchased this item every week for over a year. This week the packaging has changed as so has the recipe. It does not taste like it previously did and I won't purchase this like I used to.

Hi I went to 2 different Aldis this weekend - the Sundon Park Luton store clean ordered queuing system - great compliance with mask wearing .Lovely security guard overseeing , calm organised shopping experience with orderly queue at the sanitising station On Friday I went to the Catford/ Lewisham branch - security guard on his phone , a large number of people not wearing masks . I stood at the designated sanitising stations, not one person used the hand gel or wiped their trolley / basket .The store was extremely crowded and no one seemed to be monitoring and not all staff wearing masks - it was an awful frightening experience and very much appeared like the profit motive was outweighing any public health concerns - I left very quickly So the question is why this lack of consistency and who is responsible for overseeing and manage this

Aldi. Not another store on the Chester Rd. Right next to a busy Island. It will cause chaos. And peak times . it could grid lock Chester Rd.

Potatoe quality was abysmal. 4kg of Irish rooster potatoes with a best before date of October 29th and I wind up spending my time cutting out rotting pieces to make the spuds usable. I bought them on the 20th so I guess I ll have to rummage through their boxes for a better expiry date in future !!

The quality of their fresh products has deteriorated considerably. In recent shops I have had to throw away a full punnet of nectarines.. a whole cucumber. A complete head of celery. All this was in 1 shop. I don't understand why their product is have taken such a drop in quality as I'm sure their deliveries of such goods have become more frequent. They need to up their game and be more careful with quality control.

I shopped at the Cowgate Aldi on Sunday. As usual, when you enter the shop in the last hour before closing, the sanitisation station is shambolic. I should have photographed it... The shop was busy - no social distancing what so ever.. at 15:45 the first announcement was made for customers to make their way to the tills as the shop would be closing..Which is what shoppers began to do. But, Aldi only had two tills open so my queue quickly reached back to the back of the shop - so did the other - and there were still shoppers trying to work out where to join a queue. Bottle neck and difficult to distance from one another. I asked one employee who was tidying the bread counter if another till might be opened - I was rudely told, ‘no’. I pointed out that the queues were huge and unsafe... he walked away saying, ‘Some people only think about themselves..!’ Not at all - Dangerous all round for everyone, as far as health and safety goes. Rude staff on top of it. Aldi, if you ask customers to head towards the tills.. open them! Sanitising stations should be available up until the last minute the shop closes.

I do my main shop in Aldi, its limited but cheap, that's the good bit. The bad bit is they make their money by working the staff to death, I used to work in retail management years ago, they used to take advantage of managers by getting them to work all the hrs under the sun & not get paid overtime, now they get away with getting one member of staff to do the job of 2, its immoral & if they are short of staff they look under so much pressure, no other retailer does this, im considering shopping in Lidl for this reason, shame on you Aldi.

I think the fruit and vegetables are of poor quality. If I buy from Sainsbury's or Waitrose. I will pay more but they taste and last longer.

My Husband and I were shopping at out local Aldi successfully once a week during the recent crisis. My Husband is over 70 and we found the system in place adequate and reassuring and we were able to shop within and hour. However that has all changed as we turned up to shop and were told that it was one person per trolley as per government guidelines. Nowhere on the government website does it state that you have to shop alone. We now shop elsewhere as do other couples we know. I have emailed Aldi and placed this review as I was surprised to see a review from a shopper from Walkden stating that she and her Husband shopped together. Its bad enough for older people in the current situation but this system makes you feel like a second rate person. I doubt that they would turn away a family with children.

Re my last review I'd left the wrong rating button checked but to be fair to Aldi, from a value perspective I feel they have been good until now. What worries me is the two examples I quoted could be an indication of that value starting to erode.

Your best toilet paper has been discontinued. Softest 2ply unembossed white toilet tissue was the best available anywhere. The embossed versions are no match and cause soreness.

What's happened to your baked beans? Same tin but definitely not the same beans and sauce. The beans are bullet like and the tomato sauce is like water.

Aldi stores are wonderful but the on line delivery service is not fit for purpose I ordered on 7/12/19 My parcel was taken to the wrong Yodel depot I was told it would be taken to the right one and then would be delivered to me This would take a further 2 days This never happened No attempt was ever made to deliver it I e mailed Aldi customer services four times and at no time did i receive a reply When phoning yodel or Aldi I got nowhere either Aldi should not promise a service that they cannot deliver especially at Christmas

Used aldi regular until they have started to change certain products cake mix the new mix is not the same as the old ones in paper bag the new ones in box I won't be buying again they have odd taste after cooking and definitely not worth the extra cost I used to buy the chocolate fudge and carrot and medeira mixes all the time now I shall be going to Sainsbury's to get Wright's cake mix from now as that's a close mix as new ones from Aldi shouldn't be sold they are disgusting so disappointed by aldi disappointed that they never restocked there hotdog sauce this summer I find it odd that they are taking there best selling items and replacing them also found there beans with sausage to be watery and tasteless Lidl are stocking better beans aldi sort your stock changes out before you lose customers and where has summer fruit studels gone seems things customers like are disappearing and seems like you don't care about disappointing customers relook at what sells well before trying to make changes and try changing stock that don't sell so well would make more sense

I shop regularly at Aldi, I realise that because prices are very low which is good, there are targets which need to be met, however, on shopping at Aldi in Towcester, Northants today it was not a nice experience. All items were moving on the conveyor belt and being scanned, then I realised that my Sister who was behind me - her items were being scanned onto my bill. There was definitely a bar put there to separate her items from mine, but the cashier was moving them through so quickly, that I think the bar separating the items must have got pushed to one side, so rather than have them taken off, I said don't worry, I will pay for everything and then work out the cost of hers and mine after. It was a totally stressful experience. We know there are targets, but you shouldn't come away feeling stressed, and then having to calculate everything. I think some staff need training, yes, you have targets to meet, but there is a line. I told my Sister that in future if it happened again, the best thing to do is get the cashier to take the necessary items off, then it may make them realise that it doesn't always pay to rush.
