“I purchased two Slimwell sweet potato curry ready meals from the Aldi store but on opening the cardboard outside packaging I saw that the plastic trays of both meals were badly broken. Once cooked I discovered several bits of plastic in the food. My issue is not with this, accidental damage occurs, but with the response of customer services. Initially I was told that they would monitor the performance of this supplier. On pointing out that this is actually dangerous I got a voucher for half the value. I feel this should be taken more seriously as if eaten, especially by a child, the plastic could cause damage.”

“I bought Aldi's rack of lamb. as a treat for my husband and myself. We had it tonight and it was horrible. It cost me £14'95 and it was all fat. 4 small loin chops which were thick with fat. I have often cooked rack of lamb at home but never had such little actual meat to eat. Never again will I spend so much money on so little about of edible food.”
“Used them last month. Found them very disappointing. Although they are cheap. Their own brands are extremely low quality and they compromise quality for this. For example. A pack of 4 frozen chicken pies for a very cheap price of about £1.60 must have had 1 cube of chicken in each pie. Chicken is very cheap meat. Having literally pastry mash and pease for supper made my blood boil that day. I will never buy their own brands again. Stick to big labels if I use them again. Which are a touch cheaper than other supermarkets.”
“This happened for the third time today, male cahier who was operating on tilt four toady at about 14:13 refused to hand me my receipt, instead placed it on the counter.
The reason I am upset because, this didn't happen with the other customers who were white.
I observed while in the que because I made a note of it mentally when it happened before. I even waited after I caused to see if he handed it to the other persons cashing after me and sure thing he did.
I am not easily phased by these things but for the third time happening it tells me something about you sir.”
“Not what it used to be a few years back. Prices are often the same as other supermarkets now. Quality of meat has gone down hill alot.
Where have your review information gone!? That says it all - got alot to hide these days as quality has gone down substantially. Used to be a regular - definitely not anymore.”

“I was an Aldi s customer and because of my disability I would have my food delivered to my home. Their drop off people are rude and do not even make eye contact with the customer. On more than one occasion they left my food outside, they never even knocked and many times there was meat in the bags. This last delivery was my last, It is to bad because the prices are very good. This is not my first time writing about this problem. No one has ever gotten in touch with me so I guess they do not need my buissness,”
“Don't get produce as whoever shops for you doesn't know how to pick it out I got strawberries and have of them were moldy and she packed a melon on top of a plastic container of blueberries so they were smashed and all over the bottom of the bag I can understand the melon being hard I left it out to ripen and it never did This was my second experience had no problem with the first order I had delivered”

“I've just started using Aldi, and I was enjoying the large car park the healthy flowers, the bakery and the non food items it makes the visit a little different from the normal super shopping experience in the UK ! .....until I met Gilda that is on the checkout, she was plastered, or perhaps something else maybe but she just went off on me for assuming quite reasonably that I could keep the fertiliser in the wheel basket until I got to the front door and stack it there and then carry the load from there on, she went berserk ' what did your last slave die of' was one of the retorts 'is my back stronger than yours', 'cant you find another shop who will carry your goods for you', I never asked for someone to help with my shopping.
Clearly this is the norm in there as someone in the queue leant over and said pensively he could put my basket back in the right place to satisfy her, and then said it's like that all the time in here.
It was clear to me she had had a notification from some customer security platform where my image had been placed for giving another bad review by the Raqqa Security company currently being imposed on us by Greater London Tesco's.
So get your facts right before you go bullying and insulting the innocent.

“Don’t but fruits and vegetables at Aldi. 5-6 times I bought Avacados at Aldi and all the times avacados were bad and not able to use. I always buy avacados for Shoprite and they always good. But only few times I bought in Aldi and they are bad and we were not able to use them.”
“First of all, I don't speak Spanish, don't want to and I live in the U.S.A. Some of the Aldi in Miami have Spanish speaking only people and their service is lousy. Long lines and only one cashier open, poor selection.”
“I bought the heart to tail cathouse and tunnel for my cat. So disappointed. The house itself is cute but the pad at the bottom doesn't come close to fitting. Every time the cat steps on it, it pops up and scares him out.”
