I've just started using Aldi, and I was enjoying the large car park the healthy flowers, the bakery and the non food items it makes the visit a little different from the normal super shopping experience in the UK ! .....until I met Gilda that is on the checkout, she was plastered, or perhaps something else maybe but she just went off on me for assuming quite reasonably that I could keep the fertiliser in the wheel basket until I got to the front door and stack it there and then carry the load from there on, she went berserk ' what did your last slave die of' was one of the retorts 'is my back stronger than yours', 'cant you find another shop who will carry your goods for you', I never asked for someone to help with my shopping. Clearly this is the norm in there as someone in the queue leant over and said pensively he could put my basket back in the right place to satisfy her, and then said it's like that all the time in here. It was clear to me she had had a notification from some customer security platform where my image had been placed for giving another bad review by the Raqqa Security company currently being imposed on us by Greater London Tesco's. So get your facts right before you go bullying and insulting the innocent. I will go back to see if it's just Gilda or not.

Don’t but fruits and vegetables at Aldi. 5-6 times I bought Avacados at Aldi and all the times avacados were bad and not able to use. I always buy avacados for Shoprite and they always good. But only few times I bought in Aldi and they are bad and we were not able to use them.

They do some things right but in my experience, they NEVER have what they advertise.

First of all, I don't speak Spanish, don't want to and I live in the U.S.A. Some of the Aldi in Miami have Spanish speaking only people and their service is lousy. Long lines and only one cashier open, poor selection.

I bought the heart to tail cathouse and tunnel for my cat. So disappointed. The house itself is cute but the pad at the bottom doesn't come close to fitting. Every time the cat steps on it, it pops up and scares him out.

I bought a mini greenhouse online. It was delivered within 5 days but had no fitments included ( as listed on the instructions leaflet) I phoned straight away but the customer service lady was very curt and unhelpful and she said " well we've got no spares so send it back" I eventually had to email head office who said we will refund you into a PayPal account. I explained that I hadn't got one and said I had paid online with a credit card but she insisted it had to be a PayPal. I then had to reactivate an old PayPal account. I finally got a refund and was told to dispose of the incomplete product. I did eventually get the refund and also a request for a feedback review. However because I was honest in my review, Aldi emailed me to say they would not be publishing it! I only gave the stars because the part of the order I received was ok and I did receive a refund. It was a stressful and time consuming process.

If you start with 10 items in a grocery card today, in a few months 30% of those items will become discontinued by Aldi. Aldi plays as if it is buying surplus and or discounted items or high yield low quality items such as fruits from manufacturers and places them on its shelves as long as it lasts, then it becomes discontinued items no matter how the customer has become dependent on that item. The item could be a medical need but it will be discontinued. The Albert Discount is no longer at a lower price as I found some items are more expensive than they are in Kroger or other stores. This matter has been discussed with the customer feedback, but never have seen any actual result. 1628 Precinct Line Rd, Hurst, TX‎

Bought a pair of curtains online which was very easy to do. The website is easy to navigate and use. The curtains arrived promptly which was impressive. When the parcel was opened only one curtain. Contacted customer service who advised sending them back, but I just want the curtain I payed for

Recently I bought chopped walnuts .The packet had no expiry date .Once opened, the nuts were stale and smelled foul.I have often noticed and felt that many items which Aldi sells are on the borderline of becoming stale..Similarly, I found that the oranges decomposed the following day after purchase.

Pink Grapefruit My wife and I are long term Aldi customers and generally what they sell is very good. We regularly buy their pink grapefruit but in the past months have found them to be bruised and soft and taste well past their sell buy date. This applies to more than one of their stores. I wonder if anyone else is experiencing anything similar?

Your prices for dry goods are very good. However, your produce stinks. Strawberries with mold. Grapes shriveled. I just purchased asparagus. That night I opened the bag. The tips were mush. Your bananas are bruised because you put them in a big box and those in the bottom get crushed. I don’t buy your fruits and vegetables.

Aldis must have changed potato chip supplier. The last 3 bags of salt and vinegar chips have been greasy, largest 1" ( 25mm) lots of broken chips very salty and no vinegar taste. They used to be exceptional. But no more, I guess cost wins over quality. Sad. No more chips from Aldi for me.

Bought Haddock fishcakes clearly showing "Haddock fishcakes", cook them and start eating and find they have cheese sauce in them and I hate cheese. Small print on the back mentions cheese sauce. On complaining I get little interest. Just told take the packaging back to store for a refund. ALDI are not interested in their suppliers very poor labelling.

I use to do all my shopping at Aldi, not anymore. The quality of their fresh? produce is abysmal. I have had enough of searching through products to find the ones with the longest use by dates only to find they turn into mush and are inedible before this date. This applies to fruit, vegetables, fish etc. I'd hate to think of all this produce that is bought and ends up in the bin. Shopping at Aldi is a false economy, you might as well spend that little bit more at one of its rivals and be assured that the product will last until it's use by date and beyond. Very disappointed.

I’ve paid almost £10 for delivery of a pool for this weekend for a children’s party and have just been informed delivery can be 14 days. It didn’t mention this when I placed my order. I’d rather have got it elsewhere in time
