“I am reworking a house and needed an inexpensive sander. I really like the sander but bumped into the heating duct which tore up the pad. So far I can't find a replacement pad. Aleko products doesn't even carry them which is the source for many postings. great product, love the surface, is a little heavy for doing ceilings but no spare parts!!!”

“I bought this to sand a painted over pop corn ceiling and it worked great. Hooked up to a shop vac there was virtually no dust or mess to contend with. After getting the ceiling done so easily, I removed some seriously old textured wallpaper that had been painted over. This left residue on the walls which I decided to see if the sander would clean it up. Worked beautifully, save me hours of scraping with a putty knife. From the reviews I read, people said it was heavy, for the time it save it's well worth it. Oh, and I'm going to turn 65 in the near future, so for a younger fit person, I say go for it. I bought a package of sanding disc, only to find the hole pattern wasn't the same, but a 3/8's drill bit and a few minutes that was resolved, so check the sizes before ordering. I have yet to find disc at a big box store. I have and will recommend this to a friend, have also loaned mine to a friend.”

“its been great so far. one house down. there is a slight delay in the trigger so when you pull it it takes a second which confused me at first but then i began to appreciate it. i use it with a large ridgid shop vac with an aftermarket rinsable hepa filter and it collects 95% of the dust. the only dust it doesnt get is the stuff that falls when i pull it off the wall. I also used this do do a little feathering of a floor i was refinishing and wanted to blend my edge work with the drum sanding. its great. i think the way the extension piece was designed could be improved. i typically use it without said piece but its still functional. I really wanted the porta cable sander because im all about my brands but im really glad i didnt spend the extra money. having used both im happy with my purchase.”
