“I have seen the commercials from the other vendors and always thought how silly they were, "I've fallen and I can't get up". When it actually happens to someone you love, it brings it into focus. My 85 year old mother, who lives by herself, had her left hip give out on her as she was going for her morning paper, this last Thursday. The hip apparently shattered, then she fell. Once she pulled herself back into the house and gathered her senses, she pushed the pendant button. She was unable to stand and her left leg was twisted unnaturally. Alert 1 performed as advertised. The Paramedics were called, they made entry through the grill work (with the use of the key in the lock box) and had her stabilized and on her way to the hospital in no time. Alert 1 personnel called all the numbers on the list, just as instructed. The episode was frightening, but made manageable through the use of this service. My mother could have expired, alone, and in excruciating pain had it not been for what you did! Thank you very much! Scott”

“I love this company, they've taken such good care of my Mom! She fell yesterday and hit her head pretty hard. She says the next thing she knew the EMTs were there, helping her up! I wasn't in town, but I got a call from Alert1 and they told me she was doing okay. I was able to drive up last night to see her. She has a sore head, but is otherwise doing well. Thanks so much Alert1!”

“Your response was excellent. SF Fire Department was summoned and arrived quickly. I was not able to get to the door, so the lock-key worked well. My daughter, son-in-law and son were contacted immediately. My daughter was able to converse with the Fire Lieutenant, on the phone, during the paramedics evaluation of my situation and then arrive at the hospital soon after my transport. I feel very safe with the Alert 1. Thank you!”

“Everything went well. There was some confusion i your care giver hearing me since I was at the other end of my house in another room. I would have preferred trying to get up myself (which I did) and having your office call me back. But both the fire department and my daughter came.”

“I am Willies' daughter, Louise Grubb and I told my husband yesterday that I wanted to contact someone at Alert1 and thank you for the wonderful response to my mothers call. Your call to me was at 4:07 and my mother, who was in congestive heart failure, was on her way to the hospital by 4:30. I may have beat the ambulance to her house by 5 or 6 minutes. I am very grateful that you were there to dispatch the ambulance because her breathing was very labored.. She is back home now and doing very well. We have a visit with her Dr. today to make sure everything is o.k. Thank you again for your quick response and also for your continued concern. Louise”
