Chest freezer ordered and delivered. However despite being I don't want product warranty, 5 phones call plus emails pushing this product warranty, there were told told to stuff the warranty where the sun don't shine. AO.com are behaving like Currys. Aggressive warranty pushing. Would never use AO.com again

Absoultely shocking company! Paid extra for our washing machine to be connected but the incompetence of their delivery driver meant there was a serious leakage for a number of weeks. When bought to the attention of AO customer service they didn;t want to know, they wouldn't investigate further and flatly refused to check if the water had caused damage to the sub floor. Therefore, we'll have to foot the bill for their extreme incompetence. You couldn;t make it up! Stay away!!!

Bought an induction range cooker that was in stock at the time of purchase, but I didn’t want it delivering immediately as my kitchen wasn’t ready. I got a call yesterday to say that Stoves have discontinued it, but is still available via Stoves website. AO have the same one in a different colour available, but £1000 more, so looks like they made a mistake with the pricing and now cancelling the order 2 days before delivery.

Drivers supposed to collect and deliver new freezer. When they arrived at the house of a 91 year old in the dark they claimed that there was no room on the van to take old freezer which service had already been paid for they became aggressive and abusive to recipient and his daughter. They then drove away not delivering or collecting. Please do not use this company they are totally incompetent and abusive

Their price matching is a joke. I had the product (Samsung Family Hub RF65A977FSR) in my basket when they raised the price from 3,379 GBP to 4,479 GBP this morning. I asked them about selling it at the price from 2 hours ago and provided several websites still selling the product for 2,999 GBP. Stores like Samsung and Currys, among many others in the UK. However, they refused to match the price, even though their website promises that they will.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Having spent over £3.5k with AO recently, we are nothing short of disgusted by how they have treated us. Not only did they change the pricing on a product after our order was placed and didn’t honour the original price, forcing us to spend more money to get a product that we needed, but they also made us increase our spend further when another product was unfortunately out of stock. Annoyances, but we accepted these situations on face value and moved on. Their staff then changed our delivery date by 2 days without telling us, losing us half a day of waiting in for a delivery that never came. Then they delivered a broken range cooker to us, and upon it not being usable, told us that they couldn’t deliver another cooker for a whole week, and couldn’t legally reinstall the old cooker. We have 2 children under 6 years old, and WE HAD NO WAY OF COOKING FOR THEM FOR A WHOLE WEEK. Then - lol - the replacement cooker that arrived a week later has 4 faults and counting. They won’t replace it. They just keep sending engineers out. It’s going to fall to pieces before the warranty runs out at this rate. And here’s the kicker - they’re compensating us £50. What a joke. For what has been 8 issues, including no means of cooking for a whole week, £50 is an absolute insult. I said that I’d like a full refund and for them to collect the entire order. They told me we wouldn’t get a full refund because the products have been used. What an absolute joke of a company. We will never buy through them again.

You have to be extremely weary of this cowboy outfit , I placed a order and they asked for 3 MONTHS bank statements to verify the card 🤔 The card was verified she order was taken by my BANK. Definitely something fraudulent going on here be very careful. I’m assuming it’s a English company as Scottish law doesn’t allow such outrageous behaviour. Money hasn’t been repaid yet even although they took it and didn’t release the product.

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER again. You need to be an absolute sheep, an unthinking person of such low self esteem that you think you are worthless to buy from this company. I ordered a Neff cooker hood from this faceless company and paid £20 for delivery. At 6:05 in the morning - or, for most of us, middle of the bloody night - they texted me to say delivery would be between 7 and 9 am. That text should have been sent the night before!!! SO, where does that leave me? Apparently I can pay £25 for redelivery with no guarantee that the same won't happen again OR I can cancel my order and be charged £20 for failed delivery on top of the £20 I've already paid. AND GET THIS - you have to pay the extra £20 BEFORE you get a refund. Think on this really carefully - why buy from a company that sees you ONLY as cash. Just go local!! I called up my local supplier and got exactly the same product at £5 cheaper, no delivery charge, and my local supplier will deliver at a TIME CONVENIENT TO ME. Why? Because he values his customers and knows I'll be back. But AO? Never, never, never again. I'll pay the £25 (because I can afford to , I'm a customer with loads of lovely money to spend NOT with you) and you can shove it where the sun don't shine.

I paid £20 2 days ago for a collection, the driver rang me 10 mims before and said " he had no room im his van to take it, i then had to call up again and was given the next day(today) guess what? The driver said the same thing " oh i have no room in my van" call so'called customer service which were NO HELP just a bunch of muppets on the end of the phone claiming how sorry they were, i ordered for a refund back on my card. This is the WORST company never! Rude unprofessional incompetent staff and drivers. I had to pay extra for another removal company. They should be sacked the lit of them.

I ordered a washing machine for a tenant , and had a time slot of 7am -7pm . Was advised i would get a text on the day for a window- which i did. The person had taken the day off work to accept the delivery. At approx 6pm got a missed call an number not recognised. I called it back twice within 15 minutes and left a voicemail. I then got a call from ao, and then a voicemail was left to say that because a pre call was not answered the delivery would have to be rescheduled. I called ao back, and was then told that the delivery attempt was made but there was no answer. I asked them to call the driver back and ask him to go back as the tenant had been home all day. I was put on hold for several minutes, to be then told that they could not get hold of the driver. I then gave this person the last 3 digits of the missed call i had had, and she confirmed it was the driver. I was then offered rescheduled new delivery, to which i obviously refused, having no confidence in this company. No empathy, at the fact someone had been there all day , only to be fobbed off and told there was an attempted delivery. Shocking service, shocking customer, and will never order from them again!

Very disappointed with the service received from AO today. I placed an order for collection and take away service and disconnect my range cooker which I have bought from them few years ago as am having a new one being delivered tomorrow. Despite the confirmation email, text messages and even a confirmation call today. The driver came only to tell me that he is not qualified to carry out the service and will get customer service to call me to arrange. Received a call back from customer service by a woman who explained that I should have paid for a premium service for them to disconnect and take away my cooker. I questioned why this option was not available or explained at point of ordering? She didn’t know why but stated I needed the premium service. I offered to make payments on the phone to top up as I needed the cooker taken away. She put me on hold while she consulted with her manager and quickly came back to say that unfortunately they don’t offer that service anymore. I was very shocked and in disbelief. I asked for my refund as it’s now clear they are not willing to help or at least give me the service I paid for. They quickly sent an email almost immediately stating my order has been cancelled?? This cowardly makes it look like I am the one cancelled when in essence they can’t provide me with a service. No apology or explanation for this horrible experience. Will not be using them in a hurry and will definitely inform others of my experience. So now I have to organise for another company to come and disconnect and take away my dual range cooker.

Hisense fridge £200 which is currently on sale. Leaks water at the back of the fridge and into the food if you like soggy food buy this fridge. Staff are robotic and well rehearsed they do not admit any liability for anything and blatantly refused full refund. The staff here try to make you feel it is your fault that the fridge is not working. Staff told me to wrap up my food in zip boxes and do not open the fridge often!!! They have tried to blame the temperature in my home even though it’s 19° saying it’s too cold for the fridge!!! I would not recommend AO.com to my worst enemy

https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=tbRzFJhEjVg AO & Beko - what a fail and how to make a bad situation worse What a fail and terrible customer experience - paid for three items - washing machine, dryer and dishwasher - delivery and installation. Then received multiple sales calls disguised as delivery checks trying to sell me break down Insurance - once is enough surley, the premiums suggest it could be the next PPI scandal. Then the delivery van arrived and had to block my neighbours access as it could not be left on the road as the keys to lock it would not work. Anyway the installation guys noticed a fault with the washing machine, they actually showed me, then left saying they think it was now ok, at this point taking my old but still working washing machine with them. So I tried it, ran one cycle and it failed to work, after this I tried again, it just makes a noise and says ERR on the display, more worryingly when switched on it won't actually switch off - that's right - when I turn it to the off position the machine light and pump noise continue. AO initially said they would replace straight away as it is the day of delivery and not acceptable, then later in the day they changed the story saying the customer service rep should not have told me that and I have now used the washing machine, so they need to send an engineer from Beko to confirm its a fault. I have told them I do not want this and just want to return the item but today they have gone ahead and booked an engineer to arrive in 4 days despite me telling them I do not want this and do not want this faulty product in my house. and despite this video I sent to them ,.... just search youtube for this reference tbRzFJhEjVg Does it really need an engineer to establish their is a fundamental issue and safety problem with this product. The Beko engineer is booked without my consent to arrive in 6 days since the delivery date, so who knows how long I will be without a washing machine for. Again - the machine obviously has a big issue, do AO really need an engineer to verify this? Funnily AO also got me to turn it off for two hours and check the filter wasn't blocked - on a brand new machine - really?!? The only other option AO have given me is to return the product as a used item, as though I had changed my mind, for this I would need to pay for collection and they would also retain a percentage of the costs on the basis I have used the item and changed mu mind - what an amazing thing to tell me. BE CAREFUL PEOPLE - AO are not what they appear, absolutely terrible experience.

Will never use them again. Bought a washing machine as Xmas present, along with their 5-star membership (to make sure it was delivered in time), and they moved the delivery date twice without telling me. Eventually they told me I'd get it on 27th January! So with Xmas ruined, I cancelled the order and the membership, asking to be refunded for both. Was told I would be (and have emails confirming that), but have just been told today – a month later – that I won't get the membership refunded, as it was a few days past their cut off date when I decided enough was enough. For a company worth £360 million, you'd think they could admit when they're in the wrong and take each case as it comes. But all you can do is talk on a phone to someone who doesn't care, so you're at their mercy. Avoid.

If I could this shower of muppets zero stars, I would. There was a time, back in the day, whereby if you wanted to see a bunch of clowns performing then you paid good money and went to the nearest travelling circus. Today, you just order something from ao, open a bag of popcorn, sit back and watch their "logistics" operation fail miserably. We paid £55 for a five hour delivery slot, in our case 12p.m - 5p.m. That way, our morning wouldn't be disrupted and the evening would be free to visit my seriously ill mum in hospital. By the way, £55 isn't a typo - yes, ao *really* do charge £55 for a "reserved" time slot that they have no intention of honouring; they don't prioritise your delivery, for example, their route planning software simply generates a fuel-efficient delivery route for the driver to follow. If that happens to mean you're drop 40 out of 40 for the day then you're looking at a 10p.m delivery, regardless of the "reserved" time slot you've paid for. I wonder what percentage of "reserved" time slots are actually achieved and, more importantly, whether ao refund the charge when they fail? I'll bet a pound to a penny that they try to hide behind terms and conditions and only refund when faced with a small claims action. Hmmm, I feel a data access request coming on. Anyway, our delivery journey started off badly, tailed off in the middle and the less said about the end the better. We logged onto their tracking website to see where our delivery was and at 12.10p.m it said there were 29 drops ahead of us. As the afternoon went on, the delivery time slipped further and further back. Now bear in mind we'd paid £55 for a 12p.m - 5p.m slot, by 4.50p.m they were already advising us that there were 13 drops still ahead of us and that delivery would be between 7.00.pm and 10.00p.m! So that's the visit to my seriously ill mum in hospital down the Swanee. At 7.40p.m we took a call from someone at their logistics department who said that the crew had bailed out due to "a family emergency" and so there would be no delivery....although at this point they were already almost 8 hours past the start date of our "reserved" time slot so I don't believe that there was any way they'd have managed a delivery before midnight. If you want an entire day of your life wasted, order from ao. Otherwise avoid, avoid, avoid.
