I wouldn't even give them one star. Ordering my washer dryer wasn't the problem. It was the delivery and how they delivered my washer dryer. They came in to my house, with a very cold demenor about them, they then continued to to bring my item in.. dragging it on my nice expensive cream carpets. They then continued to drag it along my kitchen floor, which has scratched and torn my laminate flooring. When removing my old washing machine they dragged it back along my carpet leaving stagnant water and black marks over my, as I have said previously, nice, expensive cream carpets. Also when the water came out of the machine they grabbed my towels, that that were clean may I add and wiped them along the floor to wipe it up. Had I of been asked I would of provided something to wipe it up or I'd of cleaned it myself. I do not appreciate someone else using my freshest cleaned towels to wipe up dirt and stagnant water off of my floor that they had continued to ruin. When I confronted them about what they had done, they told me very sternly that it is not their problem and that it was my furniture that was in the way. However through my hallway there is no furniture and if something was in the way, which is impossible, I'd of liked to of been asked to remove it to save any damage. I would of been happy too. I then asked for their names as I was calling back ao to let them know the damage the delivery men had caused and I only got one name and no apology. They then continued to speak in their own language In my home, which I find completely disrespectful and felt like they were talking about me and made me feel uncomfortable. Then without a word they had vanished and left my front door wide open.

A Samsung Washer/Dryer WD80J6410AX, was delivered to me on Sat. 26th June2017. I have experienced unexpected problems whilst using this Machine. On a 1400 spin it does NOT always spin my items properly I have to rinse n spin them again !!!!. Whilst Drying the machine gives off a Pungent Rubber Smell which Clings to my washing !!. I have Complained About these issues to Samsung n AO and I am being treated like a FOOL!!!!. Consumer Rights States it is for AO to deal with it!!. I AM ENTITLED to a full refund as it is within the 32dy online distant buy rules. I have heard Nothing from AO since Weds Expected call Yesterday Afternoon?? 21/07/2017. I hope to receive a call SOON !!!!.

Paid for tv 600 quid ....no record of payment it's in a holding account cant return it to you for 10 days ......disgraceful .....I can pay in seconds but once ao have your money they will finance themselves with it for 10 days come on!!!!!

Bought a PC from this lot mid-June, not collected from Collect+ so returned to AO untouched by me. Collect+ weren't able to deliver first time around and had to leave a notice, tried again a few days later and this time accepted. AO guy then told me it would take 3-5 business days for refund to Paypal, didn't happen of course. Opened a dispute with Paypal then called AO to ask where refund was, to be told that they had only got the item back yesterday - after both Collect+ and AO told me a week ago that that had happened back then. I told AO girl tonight that I'd opened a dispute with Paypal, and the refund was in 10 minutes later. I will never use this company again, totally untrustworthy. Amazon refund immediately once Collect+ take receipt of the returned goods, but you need to work much harder with AO - time (over a month from order to refund), phone calls, tracking parcels, frustration...

Ordered a washing machine on Sunday, booked delivery on Thursday, but due to an incompetent driver who said he couldn't get down our drive, who didn't bother to walk down our short drive to let us know he was there or even phone us we didn't have the washing machine delivered, he just left and phoned the office to tell us. He wouldn't come back even though he was only a few miles away. We now have to wait until the following Tuesday, wouldn't even deliver to us the next day. Very disappointed, especially as we have had a delivery from them in the past in the same size lorry. would never order anything from AO again.

I took out the a.o insurance before I even needed it wasn't explained on the phone, then when I need to use it my washing machine breaks down they take almost 2 weeks to come out to repair then decide it can't be repaired right away so leave us waiting another week with no washing machine and a family of washing to be done to repair the item that repairs cost more then the machine cost instead of replacing right away I feel like I've been mis sold insurance and forced to buy clothes for my baby because I can't have her in clothes hand washed

WARNING Do not buy from AO. Spend the extra few quid and buy from a reputable firm who provide a customer service. Having a nightmare with an oven, they fob you off and put you onto the manufacturer.

Still waiting for my fridge freezer that should have been delivered between 4pm and 8pm yesterday. Told it would be delivered at 10 last night then calls from the driver who gave up because he got lost! Then told it had been delivered! All the food I had in cool bags had to be thrown. Then told I might get it tomorrow......

They couldn't even install a lightbulb. Ordered a cooker and washing machine, delivered the wrong washing machine and installed it for my tenants. then removed it and ruined the plumbing of my sink. Gas cooker, gave poor instructions about what was needed to make the cooker safe. took 3 delivery and installation attempts.. Gave up. nightmare. Never again....

cooker delivered and fitted ok when I went to use cooker found there was a shelf missing rang ao but was told nothing to done with them had to contact zanussi who sold me product?

Bought a microwave from the AO ebay store that has developed an issue within the warranty period AO will not respond I have purchased several items from AO without issue but I shall not buy any more if this is the level of service you get once you need help

AO delivered my new Neff Oven and I paid an additional £89.99 for AO to fit the appliance. When the AO engineer had completed the work the oven clearly wasn't properly fitted into the units and he decided that there must be some parts missing. He took a photo and asked me to contact AO customer services. AO customer services contacted Neff and then AO told me that no parts were missing from the delivery. I wasn't satisfied so I contacted Neff myself and I was told by Neff that there were actually parts missing and Neff ordered them on my behalf and delivered the missing parts to my home. I again contacted AO who agreed to come back out and fit the missing parts. The AO engineer should have arrived this morning (1 week later) but when the engineer didn't arrive I contacted AO who have apologised and said that the fitting visit hadn't been properly logged in their system. They have re-arranged to re-fit the appliance in 3 days time. I'm extremely disappointed that AO have left me to source the missing parts that they should have delivered and after 3 weeks I am still waiting for AO to properly fit the appliance.

We bought a washing machine from ao. The staff refused to install it on arrival. There reason being they weren't there to do any plumbing work, only fittings. They left without even taking the old washing machine in case the pipes leaked once the machine was detached. These are the pipes that would have possibly leaked had they actually attempted to install the new one of course. All they did was take a video of our wonderful view and left. I called customer services for advice and they asked us to get the plumbing work fixed and their men would come back to fit the washing machine back in. I explained it was my sons first birthday the following day and I really needed the washing machine. I asked whether they could come that day to help if I managed to find a plumber. They said I'd have to wait for days. They agreed to return the fee for installation and offered £40 towards the plumber should it go over £90 and if it's more than that they could review it afterwards. She said it shouldn't go over £90. So in good faith I accepted the offer. The only people I could find last minute to do this weren't the cheapest but I had to go ahead with it. Much to my shock when the plumber started his work, the "plumbing" part of it only took a couple of minutes. The installation part however took a whopping 3 hours. He explained to me it was highly unlikely the men from ao refused to install the machine because of the plumbing work, it was just that the fitting was a pain to do. When I showed ao the invoice they offered to raise the amount by only £20 which leaves us with over £200 bill to foot over what we originally thought. Ao did nothing but treat me and my partner with utter distain. We're just faceless customers that they couldn't care less about. They made no effort to explain to us why the men couldn't have at least fixed the door or why they couldn't take the old machine away. We've only been met with a wall. This situation is an absolute mess, it's been hugely stressful on us as new parents and it's left a huge hole in our pockets. I'd stay away from ao if you don't want to risk this happening to you.

I'm about to have anew kitchen installed and require 6 appliances. I attempted to get price matching commitment via email, (something to refer to if problems occurred). ao., asked me to phone close to half a dozen times. I even sent them completion web site and email details. after many requests over several days they eventually advised they only stocked/dealt with 3 of the 6. Why they couldn't tell me this at the offset and save frustration and delays is ridiculous. It would appear their customer service incapable.

After ordering washing machine had a call offering free scrappage, which I accepted, then had hard sell of ripoff insurance, which I declined. Guys deliver new washing machine and say they can't take old one because they don't have instructions to. He went on to explain that it is against the lax for them to phone pushing ripoff insurance so they offer free scrappage, if you then refuse the insurance they don't add scrappage on to your order.Do not be fooled by these lying con men.

Appalling service. Cancelled my order because of a system error and only called when it was too late to replace the order within the same delivery window. I was then passed between multiple people on their help line, none of whom would tell me why the order had been cancelled, or would call their in-house delivery team to fix the problem they had caused. I will never shop with them again.

Order because there was a Sunday delivery slot. Didn't arrive. Now coming Friday therefore morning off work - expensive fridge!
