Payed a washing machine on 21st of September, delivery expected for 23rd. Today (10th of October) still waiting for the item or a refund. No answer to any of my emails asking for a clarification.

I ordered a new washing machine today with delivery planned for the next day. I needed to cancel this delivery and spent 3 hours trying to get through to someone on the number supplied without success. Also I have sent two emails with automated replies. Absolutely fuming. My husband managed to get through to customer service @ 19.50. It is now 8.05 and in another queue. Given up now and not taking delivery of the order tomorrow. They can leave it in the middle of the road. Mad, mad, mad. Will never use AO again. Shocking customer sercice

I wish i could use a -5 star rating for this scam of a company. says there's a finance option and takes the full price, no option for cancelling delivery. no returns labels with click&collect so that's not an option. when you finally get through to customer service after at least 15 minutes, they try to fob you onto the manufacturer when you mention you want to return the item, who are coincidentally "not open" when you call. this is my fifth day of trying to get them to even arrange a pick up of my item for returns, but from reviews i've read, a refund is pretty much impossible with these people. I wish i read the reviews before purchase, even if i thought i was only paying a monthly option. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Completely dodgy after sales for product protection plan. When they phone you to confirm the delivery details pay extra attention to "what the appliance comes with" it's a con to dupe you into a monthly fee which he skipped over as quick as he could.

If I could give negative stars i would. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. Unless you want to wait 5 days for a parcel to arrive which was lost/sent back to sender or whatever other lie they create.

""call up multi time asking for price match but when price was matched up was told that i would have to pay delivery when actually you got delivery for free, was told that it was going to cost 19.99 then what the hell am i going to ao .com for will not recommend this to anyone

Delivery men were awful. Refused to even try and disconnect - very rude & unhelpful, they just wanted to get out as quickly as possible I've never known service as bad as this. Will never use again and will spread the word.

Delivery staff very rude and unwilling. They also rejected request to take shoes off in the house, even though it was in raining and left messy marks on the carpet. Constantly complained. They were even not willing to help to move dishwasher few feet out of the way, nor wait to have it moved away for them for literal minute and simply left washing machine in the door entrance to utility room. Item was delivered on time though, but beware if you need to plan something ahead of journey or trip, because to have it delivered in one of next two days, you need to pay £5 and if you need a specific time slot (4 hours range) then you pay even more. Other than that item seems fine and prices are reasonable, just the delivery process left a bad taste on the whole experience. I hope that ao.com will put more care into delivery effort.

My first time using ao.com and probably the last. Wrong item sent to me, had to call 3 times to get an invoice sent to me and 4 times to get the money back offer sent to me.

Delivery staff rude, unhelpful and aggressive. At more than one point swearing at me! Very 'jobs worth' and will never use company again!

The delivery of the item was postponed 3 times making it in total 3 weeks so far and waiting.. Every time they promise to deliver and set a new day then cancel it the day before. This caused massive problem at work for us as one of us needs to take time of to receive the delivery.

Bought a chest freezer, even though they knew it was for a commercial property, we were not appear that the one year warranty would be null and void. 8months later, and the freezer is not working and we do not have a warranty. We've been pushed from pillar to post and still nothing. When I thought it was rectified got the news that the manufacture is refusing to fix, because we are suppose to be out of warranty. Hopefully another customer would not be having to purchase a new freezer because of AO trying to make a sale with out giving the correct information

Purchased a VAX vacuum cleaner. The unit had little or no suction - a gap was found between the drum and the main suction feed - hence no vacuum. AO just forwarded the complaint to Vax who said they would send new items for us to fit!........ Did you ever. AO refused to take any more phone calls from us. Please note this item is only 3 weeks old! DO NOT DEAL WITH AO.COM - they are rubbish!

waiting for delivery on monday 14th august. tracking delivery ---have been past my road twice but having to wait until they have gone miles away from me. my feeling is that because I opted for free delivery I am being left till last. This happenened a few months ago as well so I am feeling suspicious. Will not order from ao again.

I have no idea if this is the correct place to put it, but the 'ao' delivery drivers are shocking!!! Had a van pull out in front of me in Milford on sea this afternoon. They didn't look to see if anything was coming and went strait out of the side road. I had to slam my breaks on and still almost went into the back of them, only doing 30!!!! So they should of seen me. I think they need to go back to driving school.

I ordered a Leisure Fridge Freezer from them, I realised when I opened the packaging it had been opened previously, there were dents in the top of the fridge and then I noticed on the label that this had been delivered to another address 6 weeks before I received it, so it had obviously been returned for the problem of the dents on the top previously. I have e-mailed them asking for them to get back to me but no one has. It was my first purchase but I will never buy from them again.

The delivery came last Wednesday and the washing machine worked intermittently twice. Today (day 4) it is completely dead! I phoned the number below (another 30 mins of my life I am not getting back!) and was put through to hotpoint not AO! After explaining the issue they informed me they would send out an engineer next week and I could chose a morning or afternoon. Once again I, the customer, am inconvenienced. I do not need an engineer I need a new washing machine that works. With 3 young children in the house and 2 adults whom work full time and very hard the last thing I need is this hassle. I really don’t care from whom you source the products. My contract/relationship is with you and as such I expect you to get this sorted. I very much doubt you will but I would appreciate a call or an email to explain to me what you are doing (as the company I bought the products from) are doing to support me in getting this resolved

Unreliable! Delivery slot Sunday 2-6pm. No one turned up. No one phoned to let me know. Second attempt 2 days later. delivered and installed but after plugged in and tried to get water from the dispenser , then water leaked from the connection. (Was advised not to plug in fridge freezer for 3 hours after installation so couldn't check at time of delivery ) No one returned that day despite phone calls to ao.com and d&g Will now sort plumber myself despite paying for the installation by ao.com. Very poor customer service, delivery and installation.
