You delivered a faulty product and are refusing to provide me with a refund until it is examined by an engineer You want me to travel 28 miles and catch 4 buses carrying a 24 inch square box weighing 8kg to take the item to the engineer to confirm it is faulty??? Passing the buck to the manufacturer when my contract is with you as you sold me the item. Always recommended you and gave positive feedback about your company will not be doing so again.

I WOULDN'T even have given ONE STAR, poor service in ever area, worst experience in my life.  1. My order was delivered the driver's just turned up just with my microwave and forgot fridge freezer. During a HOUSE MOVE, Christmas and New year on head with TWO LITTLE ONES AT HOME TO FEED, whole of my fresh/cold grocery shopping gone in the bin because they can't deliver for another 6 days. 2. The driver's call logistics lady very unhelpful answer I DON'T AND I'M SORRY. What should I do with her sorry? 3. Logistics told me to contact CUSTOMERRRRRRS SERVICEEEE?!! after a longgggggg wait of 40mins on the phone what i hear I DON'T KNOW AND I SORRY. This person contacted his manager to get an answer who was willing to compensation £20 for the food waste. I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANY PARENT BUYING £20 FOOD FOR 2 ADULTS AND TWO CHILDREN. 4. With no fridge freezer for another 7 days....actually NO WHEN THE FRIDGE FREEZER IS DELIVERED I HAVE LET IT SET FOR AT LEAST 12 HOURS THAT MEANS TOTAL 8 DAYS WITH NO FREASH FOOD. 5. I asked the customer service to put me through his manager and apparently she was going to attended meeting. Manager was available 1mins ago and now she is not. Absolutely bull s..... Trying to escape from customers like us will do no good to YOUR business. I won't recommend anyone shopping with ao.com and my worst nightmare is yet to come HOW THE I'M GOING TO MANAGE FOR 8 DAY'S😨😡😠😳

The first and last time I ever use this company. I placed an order over three weeks ago for a built in oven and microwave by Bosch. On The first delivery they failed to notify me half an hour before the delivery was due. They rearranged for the second time...I was then called by customer service telling me that the microwave was in a bad condition and they would arrange a third delivery. On the day of the third delivery, there was no text message or email so I rang them and was told by customer service that they could not get hold of the appliances as the suppliers had not sent them it yet. I was fuming!!!! First they messed up the delivery, second they said it was a faulty microwave and the third time they said the suppliers hadn’t sent them the stock!!! Ao.com are unorganised, unprofessional and lie!!!

Placed an order 14 days ago for delivery on Tuesday 19th Dec. For a electric Hob. Waited in all day Tuesday got an email to say delivery next day , Wednesday. It’s now Thursday not a peep from them . Tried to phone them, hung on for 10 minutes and gave up. I wish to god I’d used a local supplier. Will I use ao.com again ? I think not they’re useless. Pity there’s no Minus stars on the rating

I purchased an American Fridge Freezer with the promise it was available and it would be delivered on Monday. Once AO had taken payment, they then said it would actually be delivered on Tuesday. On the Monday I received an email saying delivery was confirmed for Tuesday. However on Tuesday morning they phoned to say it was damaged and would not be delivered and they had no more in stock. This is one week before Christmas and I am now in the situation where I have no fridge for Christmas. The refund will not be in my account until after Christmas, therefore I will not be able to buy a different one. I now have no money and no fridge right before Christmas. I am absolutely appalled by the level of customer service received, I feel as though they have taken my money and have been stringing me along with little thought as to the situation I am now left in. Disgraceful from such a big company, 1 week before Christmas - Do NOT recommend!!!

Terrible experience. Bought a TV in November (Black friday) for delivery on 19 Dec. Stayed in ALL DAY and when I tracked it I kept getting a new later time slot until it said midnight !? Spent half the day on the - the driver said the van broke down and I should have received a notification (no). Customer services said they would call me back at 9am the next day with a re-delivery date.... it's 10.40 and I am still waiting for their call. Next time it's John Lewis. I will never use this company again.

Absolutely disgusted pleased an order yesterday for apple airpods which said was in stock only to get a call this evening to be told that they were not in stock and won’t be until after Christmas missing out on chance to travel and collect some which is no good but I can have a refund which takes 3-5 working days to process leaving me with no money to even try elsewhere totally ruined Christmas for my son

I have been waiting for a delivery from AO since 3pm today and it is now 9.13pm and I am still waiting. On top of that on the tracker it is saing my goods ha even been delivered and they have not so I can no longer track the delivery. Not happy with this service

Customers are wondering why drivers refuse some deliveries, here is an insight into how drivers are exploited by you as a company. 0 hour contracts on a self employed basis which means any injuries that happen to a driver carrying an american fridge freezer isnt paid for by the company, if they damage such appliance attempting to get it into your property they are charged for it, on days that they do get work they are treated like slaves made to work 15hrs and threatened with losing their job if they dont, furthermore they pay you very little money and take it back off you in fines for things like damaging customers property, damaging appliances, damage to vans whether its your fault or a 3rd parties even though they have insurance to cover this, so this is why some drivers are reluctant to deliver a big appliance into a tight house or carry a washer up 4 flights of stairs, maybe if the company treated their drivers better and valued their work then drivers would go that extra mile to help the customers. Just saying!

Ordered a fridge after checking that it would fit through door, go my builders to check as well just to make sure. Delivery drivers came and said it would be tight but would fit fine if the door was taken off, but unfortunately as it is raining they can't open the package. Rescheduled for another day and another set of delivery drivers have come and now are stating that the fridge wont fit through the doors (at this point myself, my builders and the previous drivers have all measured and said it would fit through the door), they refuse to even attempt to fit it through the door and I suggested to them if they could take it round back to fit it through our garage and they refused to even try that. Just sat there and said it wont fit so we can either take it back and reschedule or leave it at your front door and your builders can take it. When questioned why reschedule if the fridge definitely won't fit according to them there was no response from the drivers, obviously they just cant be bothered to put any effort in and actually work for their money. Pathetic service from the delivery guys.

Was told I would get refund , my bank said it was not there you said you had , bank said you had not still not had refund and needed fridge replacing 6 days after delivery

Ordered a fridge freezer on a Friday for next day delivery, this never arrived. I was then told I had to wait until Tuesday for delivery but I was promised it would be first drop of the day at 7am as I had to be on a train at 10.30am. I was 9th drop of the day due at lunch time so this had to be cancelled and rearranged for Thursday, guaranteed first drop at 7am as I needed to be in Manchester for lunch time. Guess what, it’s now 9.10 on Thursday and I haven’t got a clue when it’s airing as the tracker isn’t working. SHOCKING treatment from managers who can never be bothered to call back even when promised. Stay away from this company unless you are happy to hang about indefinitely for your delivery 😡😡😡😡😡

My Sunday delivery got cancelled so I had to call and re-book. Earliest I could get it was Tuesday after this (initially they tried pushing Wednesday). They said it would arrive between 7am-12pm so I took time off work to wait. The tracking showed that the driver did not leave the depot until 11am and that my new delivery time was 12:30pm. A whole morning of wages wasted because of pure inefficiency. On top of this my delivery cost was not refunded (even though if I had originally booked for Tuesday it would have been free). To summarise, terrible service received resulting in my losing 5 hours of my wages this month and having to go without owning a fridge for half a week due to my original delivery being cancelled. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I ordered a tv on finance signed e documents everything order was confirmed waited 5 days for delivery to have nothing delivered and to be told I had not signed e document. I have stayed in all day waiting for the tv decided to call to get an estimated time to be told that. Staff were very rude also from moment I called. Cancelled my order, Never again will I be shopping at ao. Nothing special in other shops you can get same price free delivery earlier. Honestly it's worth looking somewhere else

Terrible. Paid extra for Saturday delivery and they confirmed early in the morning it would be delivered, waited in all day, only to be told this evening it wasn't coming.

I bought this along side a dishwash, fridge and microwave in the beko range. I kept getting rips in clothing and bedding and couldn't work out why. After only a month of having the washing machine I monitored clothing going into the washing machine and coming out and it confirmed when I put in a new top and a pair of jeans that were fine before and came out ripped that it was the brand new washing machine doing it! So I spoke to ao and weren't very helpful just passed me onto beko.. Who again weren't very helpful (even after sending pictures of the many items that had been destroyed by the washing machine they had sent out to me) I checked the washing machine for anything sharp etc and then beko sent out an engineer who just said he couldn't find anything wrong with it. After speaking to beko again to say I'm not happy with being told there's nothing wrong with it when I have 18 items of clothing including jeans and thick bedding saying differently, Their answer was test some more things out in it and see how you get on. (Ao and beko had already told me there will not be any compensation for the items destroyed) and their answer to a new custom of theirs was to test more of my clothing that comes out of my pocket money wise when it's ruined. The issue is still on going and I'm constantly having the chase up ao.com and beko, as I don't seem to hear anything back now they have their money they don't seem bothered by an unsatisfied customer. Really wishing I hadn't bought anything from the beko range as I spent a lot and it feels me with huge dread at if anything goes wrong with my other items what service I will get back from them. As for ao.com I would never buy from here again, after the unhelpful service and not wanting to know. After this awful and very costly experience of loosing over £200 in clothing I would much rather buy from Currys or John Lewis where if anything goes wrong they will deal and resolve the issue to the customers satisfactory straight away. My advice is don't buy from ao or beko!!!!

Very poor service I ordered a cooker it was damaged when waiting a week for a new one when the guys showed up no cooker on van now saying have to wait till 14th January 2018 for new one disgusting 😡
