Customers services at ao.com is seriously useless, they just give you excuses after excuses then promise you delivery which doesn’t arrive and then say oh it’s not our fault it’s the couriers fault. Never again will I order from this company.

Order item last Saturday with next day delivery, it’s niw Tuesday and I’m still waiting for item to arrive. Got text on Saturday afternoon to say all’s good and your item will be there tomorrow. Waiting in all day and nothing arrived, called them late afternoon and was assured it would be delivered next day thus being Monday, I took the day off work and waited all day but once again nothing. Called again Tuesday evening and apparently it’s the delivery company’s fault which are DPD. To which I replied your just fobbing me off with excuses. Was assured it will be with me today Tuesday 28 Nov and yet again I have to take another day off work and seriously don’t hold out much chance of my item arriving. As yet no text message to say it’s even coming today so looks like I’m being fobbed off once again. I’m taking my complaint further to ao.com as I want compensation for loss of earnings and I will NEVER use them again. There good at the big talk but cannot handle more than a couple of deliveries BUT are happy to steal your money.

A complete nightmare...Don’t believe all the hype, this is the most chaotic company ever...Ordered a Sony TV with the installation service...It took a week to schedule the installation.. I took the day off...got the text the night before to say my order would arrive the next day and track on the app...tried to access the app for updates on arrival time..No luck so called the driver..He gave me a delivery time... And told me he would ring before arrival...I waited and waited..The app wasn’t working and no call from the driver...I called again..He said I have a job to do (In other words I don’t have time to call you)...the delivery was now very late and no call from rude driver...Having waited in all day, I couldn’t wait any longer..Second delivery attempt...The measurements on the website were incorrect and therefore the stand didn’t fit on my TV stand..3rd delivery attempt...another day off...Got the text the night before saying your order is out for delivery...Checked the app no information..Having heard nothing rang AO at lunchtime...Was told unfortunately the TV didn’t make the delivery van so would not be coming...I am so angry by this time...They offered me numerous discounts off the TV to try and make up for the mess which was the only reason I stuck with them...My TV was finally delivered this week almost a month after I ordered it...NEVER EVER AGAIN...

One of the worse and careless companies I had to deal with. Just to take money and be careless. Product on stock and provided tracking details of package which they never sent! After inquiry just postponing and saying next day. Then find out product was out of stock and I have to wait for refund several days or buy from them different product for more money! In 6 years ordering from different companies I never had this problem. This company first order as they had this machine on stock and immediately there is an problem. Strongly advising to avoid and shop with better ones.

Basically I tried 4 times to buy an item, with 2 different credit cards. All transactions were paid according to my card companies, they even gave me reference numbers. AO "didn't receive" any of them, they blamed my side everytime, I gave my card companies some grief and they explained they had paid.... AO had NO idea what was going on, just kept asking to try again. Customer service agents were clearly unable to offer any advice of any value for this matter. I suggested the contact their online banking company and find out why... they couldn't do that. Strongly advise you don't buy anything through this shambolic pile of trash company. Stick to Amazon.

Ordered and played for microwave started In for delivery all day then sent a text saying the parcel had been delivered but no one was in ?? The number to phone is non obtainable. When you try another number I was put. on hold for 12 mins so just hung wasted a day staying in for delivery .and if the guy did arrive why no card through letter box . Not as good a company as they make out.

Having had a number of positive experiences with AO I was convinced to give their appliance cover a go and took it out for my fridge freezer and washer dryer. A complete joke. Despite the fact that they sold me it, they managed to register the wrong purchase date so when I needed it it wasn't valid. My washer dryer was never fixed. Numerous calls and emails later they promised to send me out new policy documents with the correct details on - I never recieved them. When I was changing my bank account recently I discovered that they've stopped taking my payments. They hadn't told me they were going to and I certainly hadn't asked them to. So I assume they've taken my previous payments and left me without cover. Avoid.

Ordered new gas cooker to replace existing one. Due to arrive 28/10. Got text day before saying "are you ready?" and turns out I was but AO weren't!! No text as promised on the morning of 28/10 so hung around till 4pm just in case. When I rang AO got machine who said order was coming that day and I should contact driver. Tried to get through but no joy. When I spoke to real person next day, they gave false apologies and could not offer any explanation why no delivery but guessed it could be as out of stock or just not put on van. Rescheduled delivery for 4/11 but then got contacted to go through a safety test. Surprise - they now can't install as ceramic tiles not high enough up wall!! Had gas cooker in same place for four years and it has yearly gas safety checks. Not been an issue before. So, not happy with AO at all. Not only non delivery but why can't this safety check phone call be completed before you hand over the money? There is no mention of this at all when ordering, just a few questions you answer there but no mention of more questions Been absolute waste of time!!

Decide to replace existing cooker/hob after glass panel broke. Order from AO to be told that my existing stove does not fit regulations-it is a fire hazard! So my stove is not up to standard while I am using it everyday and have yearly checks!! WHY do AO pretend to deliver customer service that does not exist!!

OMG , absolutely appalling after sales care! Bought my fridge freezer 6 month ago which stopped working soon after (£400). 6 month later still with my broken fridge getting nowhere. Phoned them about 8 times, all they can say it's that our new part for the fridge has been ordered and they don't know when it will arrive! Stay away from this company! Also 48h customer response doesn't work, a week after stilll no response

Still waiting to speak to someone regarding my fridge that wasn't delivered, tried multiple times to call last evening just put on hold waiting for a return call right now, not holding my breath.

just tried to buy a TV advertised at £339 0n their website when I added to basket it came up at £1449 when I phoned to complain after waiting 15 minutes no one answered I redialled then they said the price was a mistake And I could not buy one at that price this company is a complete waste of time

I run an appliance Repairs company and was recommending AO.COM until the problems encountered in the last 6 months or so. I help older ladies and gentlemen who need help buying an appliance that fits and has the desired functions. I am sorry to say that recently my customers have received a 2nd hand Appliance with parts missing, unhelpful delivery teams and worse of all: bullying tactics in order to secure extended warrantee payment! One of my customers was pressurised so much that she was made physically ill with the stress and had to hang up the phone. This is absolutely disgusting!!!

Ordered a new Fridge/Freezer and paid for early delivery and paid for disposal of old Fridge/Freezer. The day before delivery I was called and explained that the old appliance was an American type but was in the garage and on wheels so very easy to move, - no problem he said. The appliance arrived the next day but the oh so miserable drivers wouldn't take the old one away! Told them to stick it and, although inconvenient, saved myself £50 by getting the same item from John Lewis and a 2 Year warranty.

I have ordered a new Indesit fridge on your website few weeks ago. The first thing is that the fridge after few days sounds very loud. I spent over £ 200 on a new fridge and I'm pissed off already because that fridge sounds like a military tank. The second thing is that when I was ordering a refrigerator it was saying that I will receive it the next day. I had to make "hundred" phone calls to finally make an appointment with the supplier. The fridge does not work as it should, it's very noisy and I promise you that I will never use your services again in my life and I will advise against this choice to other people.

A comedy of errors but not ha ha. Appalling reliability. Repeated cancellations, delays, failures to communicate or follow up on promises left me without a cooker for half a week, a dying noisy freezer for two months, and an extremely bad taste. If you can buy the same items elsewhere, do so. They DON'T keep all stock and do NOT ship many items next day.

All together a very unpleasant experience. I ordered 3 chest freezers and a free standing fridge for over £ 1000. Get a message saying they 'll be delivered on Monday between 7am and 7pm - a 12 hours slot.... ok. On Sunday (?), I have an email saying one freezer won't be delivered but I can pick an other one, which I do. On Monday at 6.58, I have a message from the driver saying "I'm off you're not in). I open the door at 7.02 and he refuses to come back. I call and I'm told the next delivery is Thursday morning between 10am and 2pm. Ok. On Thursday I have a call at 8am from the same driver saying "you're not in I'm off". This time I manage to catch him. He's rude and smells of alcohol. One freezer still missing, the boxes aren't collected even if I paid for "recycling". Terrible.
