Wow, ao.com exceeded my expectations in every way. Communication was brilliant, the staff are friendly and they delivered exactly when they said they would. Joe & Ash the delivery guys are a credit to the company. I locked myself out on their arrival & they managed to get me back into my house before they departed. I'll definitely be using this company again.

Delivery men were awful. Refused to even try and disconnect - very rude & unhelpful, they just wanted to get out as quickly as possible I've never known service as bad as this. Will never use again and will spread the word.

I ordered and paid for a new 43 inch HD TV but then realised after ordering that it wasn't a smart tv. At this point I was worried I wasn't going to get my money back or be able to swap it. I rang up the ao.com service number and within 5 minutes I had put the order on hold ready to be swapped over once I had made my mind up what to swap for. When I then phoned back to order the new TV they put the swap through immediately which included free delivery for 3 days time. They even phoned me when they were 5 mins away to double check there was someone in to take delivery. When I looked at my transactions they had paid me back the difference between the two TV's without any hassle. I do not ever take the time really to leave reviews but on this occasion I have to say this was exceptional service and if I was thinking of buying a TV in future I would definetely use ao.com again. Thank you!

Delivery just as described. No waiting in unnecessarily. Product as described in video. No nasty surprises. Information on website helped enormously as appliance was a built in one and had to know it would fit

Delivery staff very rude and unwilling. They also rejected request to take shoes off in the house, even though it was in raining and left messy marks on the carpet. Constantly complained. They were even not willing to help to move dishwasher few feet out of the way, nor wait to have it moved away for them for literal minute and simply left washing machine in the door entrance to utility room. Item was delivered on time though, but beware if you need to plan something ahead of journey or trip, because to have it delivered in one of next two days, you need to pay £5 and if you need a specific time slot (4 hours range) then you pay even more. Other than that item seems fine and prices are reasonable, just the delivery process left a bad taste on the whole experience. I hope that ao.com will put more care into delivery effort.

I had an incorrect item sent and had to call them 3 times to get an invoice sent also to get the money back offer sent out

My first time using ao.com and probably the last. Wrong item sent to me, had to call 3 times to get an invoice sent to me and 4 times to get the money back offer sent to me.

We have used AO a few times in the past, and every time they come up trumps, they are on time, the delivery persons are helpful and courteous, would highly recommend.

Firstly, the immense choice on their website makes it easy to find what you want - and no aching feet or miserable spouse from trawling the high street shops that have limited goods. AO look after you from the beginning to the end - once you've bought your item, their customer service team swings into action to make sure nothing could go wrong. They even have their own break-down cover for less than others charge - with guaranteed no quibble replacement like for like if your goods can't be fixed. Their after market service is out of this world.

This was my first time ordering from AO. I bought washing machine for Sunday delivery but changed this last minute to the Saturday. I didn't even look at the price, but got the difference in delivery cost refunded automatically. They gave me a four hour time slot for delivery and I could track the machine further and they estimated a half an hour time slot, which they turned up right in the middle of. Two guys delivered the machine to the room of my choice which was great. With all the packaging I thought the machine would be too big so checked dimensions online and also saw the machine had gone down in price by thirty pounds! I was on the phone to AO for literally two minutes and in that time they honoured their price promise and I had the money in my PayPal account by the time I put the phone down. The machine is great, really pleased. What stood out more was the service, honestly don't think they could have done anything better! Highly recommend.

Very quick next day service. I was able to track the delivery all day and the team YA45 were very speedy putting the oven in my kitchen - having to negotiate steps! and took away our old cooker - thank-you!

Having read a lot if the comments on here I felt that on behalf if the delivery drivers I needed to clarify a few points. I honestly feel that if the general public using AO understood what the delivery drivers have to go through more than half of the complaints regarding them would not be made. My husband has been working for AO as a delivery driver for only a short period of time. Not only has he has been subject to abusive and threatening beahviour from the public but it get no better from his employers either!!! AO drivers are self employed!!!!! They start work at 5am in the morning and most nights are lucky to be home by 8pm. Yes unfortunately sometimes you delivery does not turn up in time, why?? Because they are given the route they have to follow by people that do not know the areas you live in. The vans are loaded in order of drop according to the route they are given to follow and no matter how bad it is planned they are not permitted to change it. On several occasions my husband has been given a route that on a normal day not allowing for traffic the journey should take 30 minutes. They are given 10 minutes to get there!!! Now as they are self employed they are charged for everything. If they were to attempt to fit your washing machine when you have a leak any damage that could be caused which you will undoubtedly put a claim in for has to be paid by the drivers!!! Not the company. So if they are refusing to fit things it's because they are trying to protect themselves. They are not refusing to do it to annoy you or be difficult. Have you ever tried lifting an American Fridge freezer up a flight of steps??? You wouldn't do it yourself so I can't understand why you would expect other pepole to do it with No Lifting equipment because they are not provided with any........Do you no that every time you complain about something that is not in the drivers control they stop the drivers from working for a whole week! My husband will not be working for them for much longer due to how they are treated. Only the other day the breaks on the van his was given to drive failed. He was lucky to stop without hurting anyone or himself. When he called to tell them they needed a tow truck there response was can't you just do the last few drops on the van first? Obviously he refused to put his life or the public at risk. Guess what he didn't get any work the next day! I understand that none of this is an excuse for being rude. All I ask is that if your delivery driver refuses to deliver or fit. The chances are it's because he has calculated the risk of either hurting himself by lifting beyond what is resonable or the are too many issues that could result in him being charged hundreds if pounds if something goes wrong.
