One of the WORST companies I have dealt with. Through Next ordered Belling Dishwasher and Samsung oven. Dishwasher broke down in first three days, wrong Samsung oven delivered. Paid extra upgrade to Bosch dishwasher and paid extra to upgrade oven. This time Samsung oven delivered was faulty. Trying to get a refund was a nightmare, AO is run by idiots who cannot work out simple maths. Say they will ring you back, they don't. Spent hours on phone and got nowhere. Bank details were also hacked into not a secure site. BE WARNED THEY AO ARE USELESS.

Had TV one day it broke so just fob you off by passing you to the manafactors who don't want to no they are breaking the law be warned do not shop at so.com

Purchased Hotpoint washing machine 15 months ago. Drum bearing has broken on machine and ao.com refusing to offer any remedy on basis machine is 3 months outside warranty. Will never use online retailer again for white goods. Have gone to local retailer for replacement and received a proper service. Avoid ao.com at all costs.

We ordered a fridge freezer and paid for disconnection of the old appliance and connection of the new one. The first delivery team were extremely unhelpful and seemed to find every excuse under the sun not to take away our old American fridge freezer and install the new one leading to a wasted day for us. They stated that they would have to drag the old appliance across our wooden floor and then claimed there was no way of disconnecting the old fridge freezer. We then had to get someone in over the weekend to disconnect the water pipe - something that turned out to be a very simple, straightforward task. I'm pleased to say, the second team (Lack and Arty - Crew COVV 186A) recovered the situation - nothing was too much trouble. They removed the old appliance without any fuss and brought the new one in. They had suitable equipment for lifting and moving both appliances taking great care with our floor and around the worktops. I think they too were puzzled at what the first team had found difficult!

Item less that 16 months old and ao want me to pay to sort it out even after I have told ao that I have spoken to Trading standards and under the 2015 consumer rights act it is your responsibility to deal with this you still refuse, I have written an email of complaint and copied your CEO in and given you 14 working days to address this issue. As I promised you I have already posted on "Trust pilot" and left a damming review and will on all sites including Facebook and I will NEVER use ao again and spend my money this your competitors and advise others to do likewise.

Got a replacement tumble dryer from ao which was ordered by domestic and general as a insurance replacement but does not work as it should ao are refusing to replace it after 7 days need to send a engineer out to look at it but I ask for a replacement as it was only 7 days out there terms and conditions say u get the option of a engineer or a replacement product but ao still refuse to replace it next steps will be trading standards as do not keep to the law and was also told they do not need to keep to the law as they are a online trader

Customer service was excellent. Getting through the automated phone menus was fast - the recorded messages were read at a normal speed which was so refreshing. Much better than being spoken to like a child. Then the guy I ended up speaking to quickly resolved my problem, and struck a nice line between friendly and professional.

I thought ao.com were going to be good. I have ordered from them before with great service, but it's only when something goes wrong that you learn how good a company is. I ordered a candy dishwasher from them - model CDI1LS38S, which arrived on time and with no problems on the 9/9/18. I then fitted the machine 2 or 3 days later and had a problem with the spring on the door of the machine being too stiff, it was supposed to be self-adjusting, but it never self-adjusted itself. So I rang ao.com to arrange for a replacement. The only problem is that they have no phone number to ao.com and it goes straight to Candy, Candy could not give me any help and just wanted to send an engineer out to me and told me I would be charged if it was found to be my fault with the fitting (not wishing to blow my own trumpet, but I know what I'm doing, as I'm a plumber by trade and have fitted hundreds of dishwashers) . I told them that I had only had the dishwasher for a few days and it was brand new and would like a new replacement rather than a repair. So, I started to email ao.com and they kept wanting to send an engineer out, all I wanted was a new replacement. I kept stating my consumer rights about it only being a few days old, but they kept ignoring me and I didn't want a repair doing on a new item. I still never got a phone number to speak to anyone in customer services. Anyway, I gave up after a couple of weeks and the spring is still stiff, but at least my arms are getting stronger opening it! I am only writing this review now, because, as of today 13/12/18 it has begun to leak water from underneath and does not work and i expect to be fighting with them to get this repaired or replaced.Does anyone at ao.com read these reviews?

AO are literally the worst company I have dealt with. Bought a cooker in may - delivery people damaged flooring. Issue was eventually fixed but was left on hold for 45mins to report this. Just bought a fridge and dryer - delivery has been 1 huge f@@k up after another. Will we get this on Friday? Odds don't look good! Customer service people are nice but promises are just words in our experience of AO. We certainly wouldn't use AO for anything again and would share these bad experiences with anyone who asks.

Ordered Toshiba 75 inch tv only to find one of the bracket screws on the back looked like it had been welded in ..replaced with a 75 inch Samsung of to find parts missing to put it on the wall ..customer service appaling be hard to recommend ao.com in the future..

Ao.com have great service. Their delivery is free and customer service department is very helpful. I have shopped from Ao for all my large appliances as they are unbeatable on free too. They have a price match policy. I highly recommend AO. Com.

New Candy washing machine delivered today. It does not work and appears to have an electrical fault. Advised by customer services that the manufacturer has to inspect the machine and confirm it is not working before it can be returned or replaced. I now have to wait for 3 days for an engineer to visit, and confirm the obvious, before I can arrange for a new machine to be delivered, otherwise I will incur 20% of the costs. This is not good customer service.
