“I love the idea of organic coffee but the plastic pods don’t work well with the Nespresso machine They leak into the container receptacle and therefore the coffee is super weak. I wanted to love it, but now am stuck w a lot of coffee that i can’t use :(”

“Wish the decaf was stronger (a problem with ALL vendors, including Nespresso Pods). None (from any vendor) live-up to the promise of deeply-rich or 'strong' that I've found. Otherwise, I do like the stronger 'regular' coffees Artizan products. On occasion, I hit a dud that won't 'open' (Nespresso Maestria); a disappointment when this happens. If using a Pixie Nespresso machine, because of the clamp, this doesn't seem to be an issue.”

“The quality of the products, I like the new boxed packages, the fast shipping and the fact is Organic and recyclable. All I need for our needs, Of course not sure who is drinking it will know all the importance of this qualities but for me is all I need. Thank you!”

“Great service, ethical coffee! Only way to make it better is to set up a recycling service for the capsules. For now I sneak then into Nespresso recycling bags but I’d like to do it via Artizan where I’m buying the capsules from.”

Hi Maria, Thanks for your review. We'll take your suggestion about the recycling service for the capsules and raise you a compostable capsule that does not need to be recycled! Most of the capsules in your order are made of a new compostable material that is derived from natural resources such as sugarcane, cassava, and corn. The only exception is the decaf blend which is still recyclable; however, we will switch the decaf to the compostable pods by the end of this year. The best part is that our capsules will decompose into biomass, carbon dioxide and water in ambient condition so they can be disposed of along with your other organic waste without requiring a specialized composting facility.
