“Got my fire pit delivered yesterday. The delivery was delayed for 4 days and the box was very beat up upon arrival. The fed-ex delivery driver was rolling it down our driveway for delivery (it was a square box). Luckily, the cast Iron fire pit did not have a dent! Unfortunately, there were multiple scratches along the outside and inside bowl of the pit however.”

“The grill looks great. The only complaint is the packaging. Like you may have read before the packaging is probably insufficient. I have a few dings that will require some black spray paint. Hopefully I can find some powder black to match. Otherwise it is extremely sturdy. I used about 140 pounds of concrete around the post.”

“I think some of the workmanship is not so good. There should be longer screws on the swivel retaining rings. One of mine had to be re-set because it was almost pulled out. I used longer screws. Some of the miters for supports had lots of cuttings in them. Some of the cuttings were covered with glue and that means extra work for me with a fine chisel. I suppose some final sanding to fit will be required. There was a small packet of 6 stainless flat-head 1 1/4 " wood screws that do not show up anywhere on the plans or list of parts. I'm sure I'll figure it out.”
