“The high table was delivered and easy to assemble. Very attractive but the second part of my order, wood cleaner and sealer, has yet to be delivered. It was shipped 3/9 and getting an update isn’t easy.”

“Happiness is non flat pack! putting the wheels and legs on was a breeze – frankly, the hardest part was extricating the chairs from the packing. Everything fit perfectly – actually unusual in many cases, and the hardware was amazing! Once assembled, it was so nice to not need to sit down gingerly, hoping the chair would hold. You certainly get what you pay for and in this case, even more! PS – the cats like the chairs and have given it two paws up.”

“The bench is extremely well made, beautiful and sturdy. It would give it a 5 star review except the instructions are not clear at all - no text and just cryptic drawings. Both wood dowels and screws are provided, but it is not clear where to use the screws. There are predrilled screw holes in a few places where we did use them. I called customer service and they said just use dowels not screws. But after I sent a photo of the instructions, the rep was then not sure. He finally said that he didn’t know what to tell me. Someone at this company needs to actually assemble the bench themselves and update the instructions with what they learn. Also, regardless of how carefully we tapped in the dowels, the dowels split and smashed flat because they are longer than the predrilled holes and wood used for the dowels is very soft. If the company addresses these issues, the bench would be perfect!”

“We purchased the savanna teak dining set. Amazing quality! I actually build with mortise and tenon joinery.This set has completely exceeded my expectations. I believe the chairs in the set are the most well put together pieces of furniture we have ever purchased. Including the Amish furniture we have purchased. You will not be disappointed in this product. The only advice I would give is to take your time assembling the furniture pieces to make sure your work matches theirs.”

“Purchased a "Scratch and Dent" stand for the 30" Titan Hanging Calderon Fire Bowl. You can't purchase new ones anymore so I was leary about the purchase. Customer support explained the company makes sure it can be assembled before shipping it. When I received the stand the only thing scratched and dented was the shipping box. The stand itself was flawless.”

“Very happy with the chairs I ordered. Extremely well packed. I took a star because I feel the directions to put together are misleading at best. To pull the pieces together tight enough you really need to use clamps. And any time you use dowels you need to use wood glue as well. There were probably 3 dowels I could only get halfway in. None went in flush- there was about 1/4-3/8" that I needed to flush trim and sand. Having said that the wood is smooth and well put together. A video would be helpful. Then I could see how they get this together without clamps and drive the dowels in all the way.”

“I ordered a fire grate from Ash & Ember right in the middle of a huge snow storm in the east. UPS took possession of the order and shipped it about half way and it disappeared after arriving at a distribution center. After weeks of UPS "investigating", Ash & Ember stepped up to the plate and sent another one to me. It arrived safely a few days later. Thank you Ash & Ember for taking care of your customers!”

“Our experience started out with excellent personal customer service. The grill we ordered arrived within a week (was damaged but we were able to repair it - Fed Ex seems to always arrive with some damage.) Very happy with the quality of the grill for the price! Definitely would order from Ash & Ember again.”
