Aviva Zero insurance is utter rubbish not very helpful when a claim is made even if it was not your fault! Would not recommend have had to do all the leg work myself regarding the claim no one in hand their 'chat' help is very unhelpful. Regardless of the cheap price not worth the policy when claim is made. Beware that they only offer a three door small hatch back as a courtesy car not a like for like as would expect if we're to make a claim. Even after advising that I have a family they were still adamant that they would not be 'upgrading' to a 4door or 5 door hatch back even after sending an email to the CEO the response was still the same. They took 5 days from the claim to respond which is appalling in any sense and their lack of empathy is disgusting. You have been warned Aviva Zero defacto utter sh**!!

Aviva are quite simply awful. £700 has gone missing from my bond. All Aviva can do is blame the bank when the bank have stated it is clearly Aviva fault. Wish I had never had anything to do with them!

Shocking company to deal with. Had a fire in commercial property. Refused to pay full amount I was insured for. Told me to go into a fire ravaged building contaminated with asbestos. To take pictures of a few mouldy desks to see if they were ‘salvagable’. Asbestos report said my part of the building was not safe. Jokers. Steer clear. Refused any accountability. Took months of trying to sort it out. Typical shyster insurers. Try elsewhere.

Absolutely horrendous experience around a bona fide claim for water ingress. Went through to Complaints Team and they were equally clueless. Aviva referred my claim to 3rd party Agents who originally offered both support and equipment to rectify matters whilst at the same time stating that as it was Christmas New Year they had limited asset availability. Basically all their kit and employees were busy elsewhere. I explained I couldn't wait 3 weeks whereby they then advised their client (Aviva) that my flat would dry out eventually of its own accord if I (yes myself) were to install (my own) dehumidifiers. Plasterwork and flooring were removed and repaired at my own expense costing way over my excess. They provided a competitive quote (cheap) but I'm mindful of the old adage - you get what you pay for. Our Management Company has just renewed with Alianz so in the event of a claim we would hope that we can deal with professionals. 1505 complaints against Aviva were referred to the Financial Services Ombudsman in the second half of 2022 which will be a fraction of ACTUAL complaints. So feel free to form your own opinions. Shocking.

you can not get through to customer services to get the right number to use the legal service we have on our policy the numbers that are given are not in use we have tried ringing all or any numbers to get put through to the right department and you are given the run around catch 22 you get no where you can not get round the situation after wasting hours and hours on the phone even the staff in other parts of aviva don't know the numbers or can help they wont give the customer service number out they say we will put you through and then an automated voice asks what you want and repeatedly it says I don't understand you have to just press a number in vain of speaking to a human then they say its the wrong number and they will put you through and your on the same process again absolutely rubbish

Aviva Health is impossible to reach over the phone or via chat. Claims or queries raised via the portal take ages to be responded to. The terms and conditions on the policy are too restrictive and don't always make sense (it's OK to see a certain specialist but not when s/he consults at the clinic near my home). Refunds take ages to be processed (and it's impossible to call anybody to check status)

I have been trying to phone Aviva health for the last four days. The wait time is unbelievably long over, an hour at a time. Why? Are there not enough staff? Aviva get your act together for goodness sake? You are losing your good reputation!

Aviva insurance dropped me for insurance after 2 years because I made a $3000 claim for a new door when my vehicle was hit and it's door damaged when I was nowhere around. Beware

Appalling customer service when trying to deal with my late father’s estate. They don’t respond to letters and keep you on hold ( approaching 3 hours to-date). Still not resolved, yet have managed to speak and get satisfaction from 3 other life companies.

While driving along an open road and driving through a crossroads with the Right Of way as Priority Traffic, a young lady approached from a side Road and failed to stop at the junction Road markings requiring her to stop and give way to me. My insurance company refuses to take legal action despite myself paying for legal Expence cover in my Premiums, my insurance requests me as the innocent party to accept 50/50 Liability or Non-Fault, so they can avoid legal expenses taking it to court. I am entitled to refuse their discission as I'm Innocent and didn't course the accident, however because I went online to seek legal advice and made it clear I would not accept Part or Full Liability, and I will Appeal to the Insurance Ombudsman to review the evidence, (as I am entitled to do), if I disagree with Avivas Descission, Aviva have Refused to Invite me to Renew My Insurance ! So basically, despite the accident not being my fault, Aviva have told me to admit liability or FAUX OFF, they will no longer insure me. They also said that pictures from a mobile phone is Insubstancial Evidence in a court of Law. so I have contacted Avivas CEO office and raised my concerns about their staffs conduct and Behaviour.

Terrible service!! Waited on the phone for nearly 2 hours then a voice message said they couldn’t answer the call and to call back later then cut off the call. How can they get away with wasting everyone’s time like this. I have no intention of renewing my policy with these wasters.

After 34 years of no Accident no claims, I drove My Vauxhall Zafira through a crossroads with the Right of way. When a young lady approached from the Minor Side Road with Stop Markings requiring her to "Stop and Give way to Priority Traffic with the Right of Way", ME ? Unfortunately, with her 3 months of driving experience since passing her driving test, her independent Claims handler as, (3rd party insurance), "REFUSES to accept LIABILITY", I've pointed out to my Insurance "Aviva", the Road Traffic Act 1988 section 3, 32a (2). S36. Highway code section 176, 171 and 172. While providing pictures of the vehicles in position at the Junction after the Incident. However, the first reply I got was a 50/50 liability. I refused to Admit Liability for an accident that was not my fault. It is now in the hands of the Aviva "Customer Care Team" to Review in about 6 weeks' time? In the meantime, my insurance Broker? Intermediary, Grove and Dean, has informed me my renewal Invitation from Aviva has not been forth coming? to renew my Aviva Insurance by the end of July 2023. Yours, M. Burton.

Terrible customer service. Chat box is absolutely useless and it takes a very very very long time before a call is answered. Emails are also useless as the person answering queries obviously doesn’t read the customer email and therefore answers the question with information that the customer already has! Basically the help you get is about as useful as a chocolate teapot. So FRUSTRATING

Almost two hours wait to get through on the phone for health claims! Then give up. Takes all day to contact them. Horrified by the service. Reading other reviews, it appears sinister. it must be intentional to take huge premiums but not provide any service. A new company policy! People will die because of this verging on negligence. Horrified.

I was driving around Tescos Main Entry Exit Ring Road (car park). At March in Cambridgeshire when a young lady driving from 9ne parking area to another, Failed to stop at the Cross Road Junction, as she was on the Minor road and faced white lines at the Junction requiring her to stop and give way to me, who has Priority. Initially my brocker refers me to a Handler K???????s, who simply process the claim and charge my insurence company for their services, 7nfortunately most of these Independant Claims Handlers don't have their own Legal Team, So the Incompetance was Unbelievable. I called Aviva as my insurence Underighter and they agreed to take over the claim. Great success and my car was not writtern off? Unlike what K???????s tried to doo, so their Friends at Car Port could Auction off my car as a Repairer. Needless to say I refused to hand it over as NO VALUATION had been agreed at the time. Aviva were quick to view my Pictures and Corespondece I emailed through and on the link they sent, and Quick to get my car in for Inspection and agreed it was Financialy Viable to repair my Car. However the Other Third Party, I Believe is using one of thease independant Claims handlers who simply keeps Frustrating and Delaying Liability so they can invoice her insurence company as mutch as they can Drag it out. Then they will dump her and tell her to claim Compensation from her insurence company or simply refer her to her Underwritting Insurer to clear up the mess with their Legal Team. Absolute scerge thease independant claims handlers !!!! So Aviva contacted me and said because the lady failed to stop on a Minor Road at the Juntion with marked lines and drove straight across the Main Road at the Cross roads Roads infront of us? With us having Priority? We recieved a letter today saying they would find it hard to settle the claim and consider 50/50 Liability. I pointed out the responsibility of the other partyand their responsibility to, Driving With Due Care and Attention (RTA 1988 SECTION 3, 3ZA (2). S36 RTA 1988 SECTION 176 HIGHWAY CODE. AND Highway Code Section / Rule 171 & 172. I also informed them under no Circumstances would I accept partial or full Liability for some one else failing to stop at a Junction and Driving into my car. The Nice Lady on the 0800 051 2503 said she would Review the d3scission on letter dated 23rd May 2023, which arrived on the 30th? The last of 7 days limit to reply too from the 23rd? Usualy you get 14 days to recieve the letter, collect and prepare the Evidence/ Info to send in, so 7 days isn't realy the answer. I now await a reply from Aviva when they have reviewed all the Evidence next week, Google maps of the Accident area,Mobile Phone Pictures of the vehicles in position at the accident etc on the 21st Feb 2023. I ronicaly all the Substancial Evidence the Other Party has to justify blaming me for the accident is the young Ladies "Statement of Truth". My car is being repaired and we look forward to its return. SO OK so far? no problem contacting Aviva to talk to some one.
