They do very good soil for potting up but they have removed all of it for Xmas items. And they usually fail to keep their plants in good condition - so much so, that they gave me a discount on some I bought as they need the tlc I gave them when I got them home.

We ordered a bathroom, after using them for a kitchen installation the previous year, where to be honest they were not too bad. This time their customer service was terrible. None of the promised letters advising us of the process were sent and we had to ring them, and despite this the letters were still not sent. I was then advised the bathroom delivery would take place between 10-12am by text, and took time off work, only for it to arrive at 2.30pm, and again only after I chased them. On the first day of installation I remained at home until the installer arrived at 12am, which meant another half day off work. I would have expected them to arrive at 8am to 9am, especially given the amount the actual installation is costing. Would not use them again.

I ordered my new bathroom from B&Q and also had all internal doors replaced. Before sales service very good but downhill from there. My house is small, my neighbour let me use her bathroom so I kept well out of the way. The delivery was dreadful, delivery man, he got nasty threatened to call police and sue me because I have CCTV and in his words 'I was videoing him without his permission (yes I have a sign up so I comply with the law). I reported him to B&Q. The delivery of 10 doors and 1 bath was made into my lounge, the tiles, door handles etc were put in the outside shed which has no light in it. 9 out 10 doors delivered were wrong size, door handles for bathroom and toilet were round not lever type handles. The shower door had damage to the top, so had to have another one delivered. Now for the tiles: The Oscano pebble tiles looked to go together in the store with the feature Oscano split face tiles, but when they were put up they are brown and the split face tiles are grey. The only light they look reasonable in is when it's wet, miserable and very dull outside, other than that they look horrible. I have been to B&Q and they've said that since they're now fitted there's nothing they can do.

Hi I just wanted to warn anyone thinking of buy bulky furniture that needs delivery, from B & Q I ordered a clothing storage unit on 14th August 2017 , it contained 8 packages to be delivered by Parcel Force. I paid for everything on online 14-08-17 and delivery was booked for 21 Aug. Well only 5 packages delivered by Parcel Force I contacted B & Q about undelivered packages , apparently Parcel Force tried to deliver on 22-08-17 we'll forgive me for not realising 22 is the new 21. Delivery rearranged for 25th Aug delivery never arrived, called B & Q again on 26th Aug due to their unhelpful nature in taking responsibility for making sure the customer receives, customer excellence in all dealings with them, I cancelled my order and requested a full refund. Collection was arranged for 1st Sept can you guess what happened, you got it no refund and no collection was made . Called again refund should have taken no more than 5 working days. Was told they would get the remaining packages delivered and would arrange something and call me back , that was on 9th Sept still waiting and I have boxes of a unit blocking up my place. So please think carefully if you need to order furniture best to go with a company that, has their Own delivery team or at least uses a decent courier company. My next move will be to contact trading standards in regards to this shambolic non service. Beware KB

i find the service of delivery and customer service at B&Q pretty poor. in store, B&Q staff can be pretty dogmatic, for example when trying to but something off a high shelf was told that even though item was visible to us, there was no member of staff free to actually physically get if off the shelf for us and therefore we couldn't purchase it!! . Recently we have dealt with deliveries from many large appliance and kitchen item suppliers, including Hotpoint, appliances direct, Hughes and various other online suppliers. and our experience of large deliveries from B&Q in the past few months (Kitchen units/ doors). Our experience of ordering larger orders for delivery from B&Q has been poor. particularly the cost of delivery under £250. Long lead time on orders, there is a very large time window given, No tracking offered so we have had to take time off work. Why can other companies manage these things but NOT B&Q? I wouldn't mind if the products were exclusive or exeptional quality but it is definately not the case on our experience. Come on B&Q be more competitive, show us hat we matter and catch up with other suppliers.

"After spending at least an hour filling my basket up with items I needed for ongoing projects in our house I found that B&Q cannot deliver 3 sheets of hardboard because I have not spent over £100 on bulk items. Despite the total of my complete order being over £160! What a con. Another way for big companies to make money out of unsuspecting customers. Funnily though, I could go to my local B&Q and pick up all the items I ordered if I had a vehicle large enough to carry the hardboard. Not impressed. Most companies have a minimum order which I accept but this is just daylight robbery. Dont use them

Not very happy with B&Q, I feel without any doubt that your prices are getting dearer every time i go there i had to buy a 2.5Ltr tin of Ronseal decking stain to finish my daughters decking off.. the price on the shelf is £27! to say i was shocked is an understatment. its strange because the last 2 tins i bought at another retailer was £12.99 YES!! TWELVE pounds 99p.that is more than half the price of the B&Qs..put another way a tin in B&Q £27... 2 Tins i bought at another retailer £25.98. What makes my blood boil is does anyone really think that a retailer is selling a tin of Ronseal decking stain at £12.99 and not making a very decent profit? i'v bought a lot of goods over the years at B&Q but will definitely be looking to shop elsewhere in the future, very unhappy shopper who knows we are beeing ripped off by BIG Business AGAIN.

Not happy with boxes of tiles brought from b and q which are all different sizes and many of them are bowed my son sent them a nice email explaining this and was told we could return them two weeks later when they finally replied it's now six weeks later and two tilers later now costing me £170 more for a chap who can work with them and they said I couldn't return the ones the tiler had used even though that's how we found out they were rubbish not happy b and q

Tried to order kitchen worktops on the internet but the worktops I wanted were only available on click and collect but I needed them delivered. So I had to travel 30 miles and order them in store and then they delivered them ! The price was good but why cause you the trouble of travelling to the store?

The whole design of the kitchen was wrong. If it had not been for the fact that we had a good joiner then the kitchen would still be in boxes. The joiner had to cut some of the units to fit and some were too small and we had to order bigger ones. We had not enough plinth for one side of the kitchen, and it had to be joined, but too much trim for the cupboards, and that went back, along with £280 worth of excess materials. The plastic for the plinth was not the same width as the plinth! The extractor fan was very difficult to fit and was badly designed. The cover caps for the inside of the doors were in a discrete part of the packaging and very hard to find and therefore were thrown out!!! All in all the set backs put an extra days work on the installation of the kitchen for the joiner who did a brilliant job under the circumstances.

Attended halesowen b and q on sunday 26th. Asked about a specific sander was told they were out of stock, i asked if bilston shop had any and was told to look on internet. Another question was about door sizes and was told to look in the leaflets provided i looked for the leaflets but all the holders were empty so asked another assistant who said "weve run out" they just could not be bothered to even try to be helpful i felt i was being a niusance they seemed more interested in having conversations amongst themselves. I shall be going a little further afield in future to homebase where they go out of their way to help you

Homefit service use sub and sub sub contractors. Very little actual project mgt from Homefit meant we had to fix issues. We had damage to carpets and stairs from removal of waste and these issues were extremely poorly managed and again we had to sort it. The paint work remains damaged so I guess we will have to pay for that. Simple recommendation is to never use Ho,edit service, it is very poor. How Which are OK to recommend is beyond me?

Extensive use of sub and sub sub contractors meant issues had to be fixed and chased by ourselves. Absolutely zero proactive support from home fit when sub contractor who removed old kitchen damaged carpet and walls in hall. No call to confirm we were happy and still have damage to walls. Will end up paying to get it fixed ourselves. Will never use Homefit service again as there is no accountability for the whole job with everyone referring us to everyone else. Hopeless!

After painting our whole house with Matt Dulux, wasn't too pleased to find the Vinyl element has been dropped unless you pay extra for Endurance! Surely everyone wants their paint to endure the test of time when it takes so long and costs so much to do properly. Dulux Vinyl has been going for so long we didn't notice the omission on the tin and B&Q staff said complain to Dulux ( a customers contract is with the retailer) the omission was not brought to our attention ! This is selling under false pretences as the paint comes off when you need to wash off a mark!! A major change should not be glossed over. No pun intended! B&Q are as much to blame as Dulux. It's take your money and sod the consequences!

Bought a made to measure door from B & Q. The fitters fitting the door was very good but the door itself poor quality. The sill is only 1 inch deep and there is a 2 inch bar across the bottom you have to step over to enter. An accident waiting to happen if you are not aware.
