Fabienne Close-Coupled Toilet - this toilet is ridiculously designed and to put it bluntly, I will be spending the next few years of my life cleaning excrement from the bowl. It does not allow anyone of any size to have a 'clean drop' into the pan & I will be spending a fortune on toilet brushes! A refund would be the least B&Q can do and also pay for a plumber to install a toilet that is functional. No wonder it is on sale. This has completely ruined my new bathroom refurb. A reply would be helpful from a member of the team please

I wanted to leave a review on the IT Kitchen website but was unable to find the process to do this. There are some pretty disparaging comments about the quality and the fittings supplied with IT flat pack kitchen units so I thought I would give my unbiased opinion on what I have bought. Nobody from B&Q replies to the comments on the B&Q kitchen unit website anyway. I have fitted kitchens from B&Q for over 20 years so I have done a few it's fair to say BUT I have not fitted a B&Q kitchen for around 9 years now. So I thought I would fit one for a new flat I have purchased. Lots of comments about the diminishing quality of the product flatpack IT kitchen. As it happens I still have boxes and boxes of B&Q IT Kitchen fittings left over from previous jobs so I can compare quality from 10 years ago to what is being packed up now. 1. Shelf supports......Now.......flimsy, weak and poor quality. Threw mine supplied in the bin. 10 years ago. Strong, well made. I used these. 2. Cam lock fasteners Now. Weak, poor quality. In the bin. I fitted my 10 year old cam fasteners. Strong and well made. 3. The furniture panels themselves. Something not quite right with the production process. The white vinyl layer is so thin it doesn't look white at all. I think what it boils down to is price but in doing so quality comes second now and that could be a disaster. B&Q needs to buck it it's ideas up if it wants to survive in business. Personally I would not recommend or would I fit another B&Q kitchen until they can prove that they have listened to their customers and actually looked to the vast amount of negative comments on their own website and improved the quality of the finished product. Thankyou for reading this.

I have spent over £2,000 at B&Q refurbishing my bathroom and the 'pièce de résistance' should have been the Manrose QF100T extractor fan. However, after l had installed the extractor fan and set the overun timer for 30 minutes, my wife had a shower and subsequently myself, in order test the new extractor fan. Having said this, the bathroom was full of steam and condensation running down the freshly painted upper part of the walls onto the newly tiled portion below. Even after 30 minutes, my bathroom was still full of dripping confederation running down the walls. I had to open the bathroom window to vent the steam out. This product is totally a waste of money and not fit for purpose. I have uninstalled it and shall be taking it back to B&Q for a refund.

The Charlton / Greenwich store is woefully understaffed, and the employees that do show up don't seem to want to DO anything. Today there was a queue of 14 people waiting to pay for goods, and they had ONE cashier on duty (who thought it would be good for customer relations if she had a nice, long chat with everyone about the weather, and if they'd enjoyed Christmas, etc. etc.)! The 'self-checkout' area was closed off, and so many staff walked past the ever-growing queue that we thought we were being set up for a "comedy" TV show. Ludicrous. We went to Wickes (nearby), and spent our £300 there. Great customer service, and both tills were operational, meaning no waiting time. AVOID!!!!

Couldn't finish the kitchen off, maybe it's time you got you're act together B&Q Meir Park, Stoke on Trent, this will be the 8th time we have to visit this store, it's a shame you couldn't take a leaf out of the festival Park B&Q, the staff are brilliant there!

went to B&Q for kitchen, Emily, Linda and Joanna were the most helpful informative friendly staff you could hope to meet. Nothing was a problem to them, we had our own ideas however a good input from them helped us to create a stunning gorgeous kitchen plan. Thankyou so much for your help and support, we had visited other companies none could compete with your service, support, quality and price Keith & Sheila.

On Wednesday, 19th Dec 2018. Went to buy half a dozen sheets of MDF at the Sutton Store, which I needed cutting. Arrived at 1115, only to find that there was no one to operate the cutting machine and would not be anyone till 1215. Does B&Q only employ one person per store to operate services such as this? Eventually, made a second journey to the store in the afternoon, wasting time and petrol. Sutton is a good 20 - 30mins away from where I live, so an hour wasted plus time in the store. Shambles.

I went to buy some raspberry canes from thje B$Q garden centre. Having selected a healthy pot I took it to the checkout; but it didn't have a price tag or barcode on it, so the girl had to go off and find someone in the garden centre who could price it for her. She came back after a few minutes - having, however, now swapped the pot of canes I was trying to buy for one that was obviously dead. I don't know whether I was more annoyed by the attempt to swindle me or the assumption that I wouldn't know the difference. The 'garden centre' is a joke, because no one who works there knows anything about gardening (or seems to want to). The store as a whole is ill organised and staffed by people who are rude, casual and unhelpful. I would recommend to anyone that they avoid B&Q. It has every appearance, to my mind, of a business on its last legs - and deservedly so.

Do not buy a kitchen from B&Q, poor customer service, constantly fobbed off with bull.... Some items ordered came in wrong colours, mixed colours or not even come at all, had to go to the store in Meir Park (Stoke on trent) where I tried to complian n was told I needed to phone their help line for complaints, nothing t do with the store, although everything says B&Q on it! Had to keep returning things to the store to get them re-ordered n then find they've missed items off again! This is just a bit of what's gone on, not even an apology, I am do annoyed, this saga has been going on for over 4 weeks n you only have 46 days to fit the kitchen! Never again will I buy from B&Q

Verve Snow Shovel (metal) - just be aware it is for "digging" snow (or shoveling grain or gravel, etc.) and not for sliding or "shoving" snow off a smooth surface (e.g. a driveway or pavement) - it doesn't do that - unfortunately (which is what I expected/hoped it would do), you need a big plastic one for that. But for digging it will be fine.

Bought two high gloss double wardrobes and a 4 drawer chest, the bottom drawer of the chest is warped and will not shut. In order to put the doors onto the wardrobes, my brother could not do it himself, as the weight of the doors and the fiddly hinges were a nightmare, he had to call in a friend to give him a hand, his friend who just assembled wardrobes from Ikea said he has never seen anything so complicated re the B and Q wardrobes. I will never buy anything from them again. Ikea here I come.

Went to Stevenage store after 3 months of aggro trying to get a refund for rubbish bi fold doors, was met by a woman who, quite frankly needs lessons in customer service. She acted like she couldnt be bothered? I asked to see the building manager and was told hes at lunch and thats it, so asked I asked to see the store manager and she reluctantly called him. After ten mins still waiting so I asked her to find out whats happening. No help at all. Be a long time before I buy from there again, would rather travel to Biggleswade and shop in Homebase.

Caroline in the call centre (0333 004 9999) was extremely helpful locating Sandtex Olive Green Masonry paint at B&Q Aintree branch, who also worked wonders finding me 4 5L tins. I am extremely impressed with the competence of the aforementioned staff!

I visited the Keighley store and was served by Lorna in the outdoor dept. I bought a Xmas tree and there was only one left in a stand which was bolted in. Lorna took it out of the stand for me and netted it. I work in the Customer Service industry and I found her extremely helpful, polite and friendly . Lorna gets 10 stars from me.
