“Out of Chinese sites this one is one of the better ones. The way I see it, part of the problem is cultural - practice that is unacceptable in Australia seems to be OK in China. Example : Item not working, they want you to pay the for return postage while it is manufacturers/sellers obligation under Australian Consumer Law. And part of it is that those sites (my understanding) buy in bulk products that are below acceptable guarantee levels - for manufacturers - so for us to buy it is a kind of lottery. You might be lucky and it works great for a very good price, or you might be unlucky and the claim aggravation starts. In this instance (soldering station) no problems. With electronics goods I only buy if they have a warehouse in AUSTRALIA.”
