Terrible, they miss sold the item, then don’t provide an invoice with the details needed to request a return. Have had to file two chargebacks against bax, awful company

UTTER RUBBISH I purchased a speaker from what looked to be a UK website, complete with UK address, phone numbers and emails. I then find that the item I ordered is coming from the Netherlands. THEN UPS - Bax courier - informs me that I have to pay £104 import duty (50% of the value of the product I bought and 50% more than it would cost me to purchase elsewhere. I phoned the numbers on the website I used to make the purchase to hear a recorded message saying the number is no longer in use. I emailed their customer support and as yet I have had no reply. I have been trying to get UPS to return the item but that cannot do that from the UK. I have now TWO WEEKS LATER had no choice but to pay the import duty in the hope that once I receive the speaker I can return it to Bax for a refund.

Order arrived only 2 of 5 pairs of sticks in the box. Rang Bax but number unavailable. Emailed customer services but 3 days later no response. Disappointed. Marty.

I was delivered a faulty microphone from you last week. I have been emailing you since and tried phoning to arrange returns. But still no response. Frustrating and unnecessary anxiety due to poor communication and customer concern.

Horrendous. I bought a bass for £491. The bass needed to be returned for repair. It was gone 3 monhts and returned (after pushing) without the rapair completed. I sent back again for a replacement to be sent. The replacement never came. I have chased and chased for over 6 months. Offer of voucher came and then was withdrawn when I accepted. Awful. I can not believe a company can act this way in this age. £491 is a significant amount of money. Fraudsters. Do not use.

I had always had good experiences with this shop, however that was before I experienced their absolutely abysmal excuse for customer service. Frankly, if they cannot be bothered to answer a simple email, then I cannot be bothered to buy a £525 guitar from them.

Ordered three items, including a £500 mic, from Bax as the website said they were all in stock and I needed them urgently. On the day of arrival I get an email to say the mic was never in stock and they don’t know when it will be. Tried to call but they were “receiving a large volume of calls” blah blah. Replied to customer services email to ask for an immediate refund. No response. Then get another email saying delivery in three weeks time. I don’t have my money any more so can’t buy the mic from anywhere else. Today, a week after delivery was due I get an invoice. It has minuses on it indicating a refund, but no mention of a refund or apology or timescale for receiving my money. Smacks of customer service by AI bot. No contact, no communication. Never ordering from Bax again.

Guitar arrived on time. There was corrosion around the jack socket and the battery box. The action was poor and I want to return the guitar. Despite following all the instructions, none of my emails or calls have been answered. I am not happy

If I could give no stars I would! I ordered an item on 7th January which should have been delivered on the 10th. It did not arrive. The tracking notice they sent me said 'adsvised' and has said that until now (25th January). I sent emails and tried calling with no response. Several days later I had an email saying they had started an investigation, so I dutifully waited and...nothing happened. I tried phoning again, no response. Eventually they sent me an email asking me to review them as I had my lovey new product..NOT! I also got another email several days later saying they were sorry for the delay but they had started an investigation (yes I know!!!). So eventually I sent this email. Hi. Has there been any progress on finding where my order is? It is now 12 days overdue and you started an investigation on Jan 16th, that's 7 days ago. I have to say that I am not happy about this. The project the item was for has had to be put on hold for now, a delay I did not need. Surely it doesn't take a week to find out where my item went! I ordered and paid for an item which I have not received. If that item was lost by your courier or in your system, that is not my problem. I have paid for and expect to receive the item I ordered or, receive a full refund. Now my preference is to receive the item, because I need that item! Could you not simplify matters and just send me another one? Clearly I am not going to receive the original otherwise it would have turned up by now, and if it does it may well be damaged, in which case I would have to suffer all the problems with returning it. I had hoped to have a great first time shopping experience with Bax, instead I have had a very poor one and very reluctant customer service. So this is likely to be my last shopping experience with you. Believe me no one is more disappointed than me. That was three days ago and guess what...no response. I'm just glad I paid with PayPal at least I have some chance of getting my money back. Want my advice? Avoid Bax music like the plague. I have bought lots of stuff online from various places and service has varied a bit, but always worked. Until I ordered from Bax. Now I understand things go wrong now and again, but its the total lack of customer service that really upsets me. Give them a wide berth and shop somewhere else.

product delivery time very good. product was incorrect ,even after i spoke to a staff member ,who still got it wrong. returning it is a night mere, Been on the phone for a week even sent a email and no reply back VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. ALL I WANTED WAS TO RETURN IT , AS IT WAS NOT MY FAULT. tHE PRODUCT WAS INCORRECT. STILL WAITING TO RETURN IT, COME ON BAX CONTACT ME PLEASE........

I ordered one item and got delivered another. Wrong order details, no one answering the phone when trying to raise a claim or return. Worst buying experience I've ever had in my life.

I bought 2 keyboards, both of which were showing in stock, and a delivery date of 2 days after order was given. When they hadn't arrived after 5 days, I rang the customer support number, and wasn't able to get through at all. I subsequently emailed, and after a day received a reply saying that one of the keyboards WASN'T in stock after all, and they had no idea when they would be able to get it. OK, that happens, I get it - though I would have been far happier if they had contacted me rather than waiting for me to chase it up. So, I replied explaining that I was under a time constraint to get the keyboard they couldn't supply, and asking them to cancel that part of the order and to process a refund as soon as possible, in order that I would have sufficient funds on my card to be able to buy one elsewhere. I got no response, no cancellation, and no refund. I emailed again and again: nothing. Eventually, I rang and just hung on: it took over 30 minutes for my call to be answered. In fairness, when I did, the representative did deal with my query efficiently, although at the time of writing the refund hasn't come through, but that's a normal banking delay, I hope. They have a wide range of stock, and their prices are great: but when things go wrong, their service - if you can reach it - is variable at best.

Don't believe stock levels. Ordered two items with Saturday next day delivery for a gig the following week. A day late processing so missed the Saturday for the Sunday rehearsal. Then Parcelforce couldn't deliver as it didn't have the correct address. Arrived a week late - missing the gig. One item broken and the other not included as it was actually on back-order and won't be available for a month. Farce.
