“I had a fantastic experience buying my Range Rovet Sport . Matt , one of the sales team , was brilliant . Everything he promised , was carried out to his word and the whole process was handled in a very professional manner . I would definitely purchase a vehicle from BECKEVANS again as they made my life very easy , and buying a car can always be stressful but in this case a pleasurable experience . Alan Smith .”

“The purchase was straight forward with the dealer not prepared to make any concessionary adjustments to the purchase price, but the car was good value anyway. After about a month the car developed an awful squeal which sounded like the gearbox as it was below my feet. I spoke the salesman who put me on to the workshop and the mechanic there wanted me to bring the car all the way from Horsham. My question about the possible (further) damage to the gearbox ( should it be that) driving it a long distance got no response except that he would get the salesman to ring me. the salesman never rang me so I was left to sort the problem by myself with my local garage. The problem in the end was that an exhaust bracket had finally corroded through (not picked up on the MOT) and was giving a metal against metal sound on acceleration. Not so bad after all but my concerns are regarding after sales customer care, The thoroughness of the MOT, the mechanic's knowledge of gearboxes and possible damage of driving it a long distance, and the salesman not calling as the mechanic said he would. So the sale and aftersale became normal rather than good or very good. Shame. Luckily on purchasing the car i checked to find the locking wheel nut not in the car and it was finally found in the workshop.....otherwise that would have been a problem later on....... It is a nice car in excellent condition and the price was reasonable, but what followed after the sale, spoilt the whole experience.”

“We were looking to buy a Ranger Rover Evoque for my wife and we came across Beck Evans. We were a little nervous about buying from a non Landrover dealer but we had such a bad experience with LR where they wanted £1000 just to bring one of their used cars from another branch for us to look at! I called Beck Evans to ask about the advertised car and the Manager actually went outside with his mobile so he could answer any questions I had regarding the condition of the paintwork. He even told me about a small chip that quite frankly when we went there i could hardly find it myself. Anyway, my wife chose a car ( a different Evoque) and despite they were really busy that day, a very kind man took my wife out for a drive on the car. We did the deal that day and picked up the car a week later. Beck Evans are one of the best used car companies I have ever dealt with, their staff are professional and courteous. The whole process was painless. A day later we discovered we had not got the manuals for the car and called BE. Without any debate they sent a set in the post that day. Thanks you BE and your staff, my wife is very happy with the car.”

“We bought a Range Rover Evoque prestige from Becks Evans and we couldn’t be more satisfy not only for the great deal they got us but also for the service and the effort they made to meet our needs. Since we had the car it has been to Land rover to install a couple of upgrade and got a clean bill of health. I would definitely recommend them”

“I purchased a mercedes c class 220 this week my first merc loverly car to drive, Mathew made things easy doing a fine job explaining everything i needed to know about all the valuable add ons, can't comment on the car as only had it for two days (hope its as good as the service I received) Mike Mason”

“I recently purchased a car from Beck Evans at their show room in Kent where I was received by Sam and Matt. The whole experience was great. From the train station where they kindly sent a car to pick-me up to questions I had on the car once I had bought it and brought it back home, they assisted me at every step of the process. The price that I paid was very competitive (I compared extensively with other offers on Auto trader) and the condition of the car was simply excellent. I would definitely consider them again for a new car. Highly recommended!”

“I recently went to a main Mercedes dealer to buy the Missus an A Class. They were terrible, very pushy and not interested in what I wanted, only what they wanted. I came to Beck Evans and wondered why I'd ever gone anywhere else. My salesman Tim Dyne was first class and a true credit to the motor trade. He was approached, friendly and not at all pushy. Even after he'd sold me the car he was so willing to sort any other minor problems and get everything perfect prior to picking it up, most of which he arranged to have done while I was there so as I could be assured I was happy. Most places are your best friend until they've sold you the car then suddenly they aren't interested. However, at Beck Evans even after sale that continues. When I bought my car there was a minor problem I got fixed under warranty. However before the warranty work was authorised Beck Evans had already offered to take care of this for me if the warranty company refused free of charge! In short, if you want a used car go to Beck Evans and speak to Tim Dyne. Absolute legend!”

“Average service, delay in making settlement with previous finance company caused late payment fine. Rude and short on phone when trying to sort out from abroad blaming colleague and advising to call back in two weeks when the other person returned from holiday. Original sale and preparation of finance / vehicle smooth. Completely lied about price they would sell trade in for but, second hand car dealers, "what do you expect". Despite gripes would use again, rating in comparison to overall service expectation rather than that of a second hand car dealer.”

“Bought a car from beck and Evans in June they've given me confirmation that the car are taxed 2 months later we received a letter to say I will get a fine car not taxed paid becks and Evans to do this. Was done after us Chasing it. Had a bumber paint problem at the back they said it was all taken of and re-painted after first wash all came of. Will not buy from them again nor recommend them to anyone. They got very defensive when we chased them. A week was given to sort problems out absolutely appalling.”
