Whilst I enjoyed the beers once I received them, I did have a few issues with my order. It was originally supposed to arrive on a Friday and I waited in for them with no joy. I then traced my delivery via the UK Mail website to see that it was "delayed" but would be delivered on the Monday - again to no avail. I then phoned Beer Hawk on the Monday afternoon to be told that upon investigation with UK Mail that the beers were damaged in transit. I eventually received my order on the Wednesday - 5 days later than I was supposed to. Sadly, this is not the first time that I have had issues with UK Mail & as sad as it makes me feel, I doubt I would ever order from Beer Hawk again given that they use UK Mail. Had I known before I placed my order that they used UK Mail, I doubt I would have placed an order with them.

3 of the 12 ordered were replacements; a simple courtesy email requesting my views re replacement choices would have been helpful to allow me to decide rather than someone else who packed the order. Not the greatest first experience given that all the beers were indicated as being in stock when I placed the order.

Delivery speed good although card separating bottles wasn't set up properly so bottles had moved about with chipped broken glass at bottom of box (bottles stayed in tact though) .Reported that it was my first order from you and next time could they be boxed better .Was given apology and promised beer tokens which was a nice touch but looking at account this hasn't happened . not great

My gift voucher code did not work on line & did not over the phone either so had to pay full price and they would credit my card on receipt of the on line order. I had to call several days later as no credit appeared but they did refund me this time, Was expecting delivery on Friday (as discussed) but did not arrive until the Monday. Otherwise order was fine although a little pricey.

Just about adequate on speed - an order made around 1pm was despatched the following day. Poor on communication - they promise that you will be sent an email when your beer is despatched, but I wasn't, and several emails asking how the order was progressing went unanswered for a couple of days.

I ordered a 30 bottle beer selection for my nephew - as a birthday gift. As it was being ordered in plenty of time for his birthday I selected standard delivery. Having been made completely dizzy from the number of emails received from UK Mail , most of which gave conflicting information or delivery times which were then cancelled only minutes later, a parcel arrived . Unfortunately the parcel contained only one of the two boxes of beer which should have arrived. My brother is now chasing from the UK . What a shame that a lovely gift idea for a real beer enthusiast has been completely spoiled by a mediocre delivery service

Yes, sorry for the delivery issues you had. The two packages became separated in the courier network and although the second was delivered the next working day that did span a weekend so they arrived 3 days apart. Hopefully you enjoyed the beers though! Many Thanks Louise

Ordered the big beery mix for my sons training team as a thank you on Friday 22nd May expecting it to be delivered on Tuesday 26th taking into account the bank holiday weekend. It arrived on the 28th and was too late for the training team to get the beers and appreciate them before my sons passing out parade on the 29th. The training team then went on holiday, so they'll not receive them untill TWO WEEKS fter the event. Very disappointed !!!!!!

Hello Sorry that they didn't arrive in time for you - the order went out on the Tuesday after bank holiday and the couriers attempted delivery on the 27th which failed resulting in the 28th delivery happening. Apologises on behalf of the couriers

Recently ordered a second 'beers of the workd' 48 bottle case. Beer fine. All in date and most i would buy myself. Got from east cost points (that was). What problem i have is in the same box of beer I got two of the same beer. This is from a company that has a regular beer club that knows your taste and will have no repeats. Is this enticing me to join as their brew club. Not at all. Would i orde4 beer independently potentially yes. Would I join the beer club. No. Shame. A wasted opportunity

Great beer. Awful delivery service. I have had problems with every single month's delivery so far - broken bottles, delivery never arriving etc. Every month I have had to chase Beerhawk to find out where our beers are, and I seem to get an unsympathetic standard response each time. It's a shame, because if it wasn't for the delivery service I would definitely recommend Beerhawk.

Ordered beer for a present for a mate but although he was very happy with the beer, the effect was spoiled by another order I had cancelled turning up and then him having to wait in for a courier to pick it up....

Hello thank you for taking the time to review us, hope you enjoyed the beers in the mystery case's. as you will see from the description below regarding the mystery cases "This will be a real eclectic mix, made up of all the beers we have to clear to make room for new stock, as well as other lines we are looking to move along quickly. It may contain lines where the bottle labels are scratched, beers that are out of season or ones that are just past their best before date but are still good to drink. I was not told that my delivery would arrive in two parcels. They arrived on separate days leaving me to think when the first parcel arrived that my order was incomplete. When the second parcel arrived one of the beers was wrong and cheaper than I had paid for. When I informed Beerhawk they were quick to offer me a voucher for the inconvenience I had suffered.

I bought a Valentine Box for my husband. I was a bit disappointed with the packaging (not Valentine - related at all) and the fact that the Valentine message I had written was printed on the invoice so he could see how much the gift had cost! In Beer Hawk's favour - the delivery was quick, with the box left exactly where I had asked them to leave it, and the beers were interesting, unusual and Valentine-related.

Hi Becky, I'm sorry that you felt the packaging wasn't up to the standard you were expecting - we don't offer a gift wrap or plain packaging box on the sites. Gift messages are something that we are looking in to upgrading but it should not have had the invoice in the box. Apoloigises Louise

Mostly ok, quick delivery and some nice beers. But some far too strong for easy drinking and I would say a little expensive.

The communcation of when the order was to be delivered was not in line with what happened. I had to chase the order to get an update after not hearing anything for 4 days. Dont mind late orders but need to be notified. But the delivery cock up a side, the beer selection is great and my husband is very happy with it.

Oh dear – that really shouldn't have happened that the beers were very delayed, It doesn’t happen very often but all I can put it down to is we were waiting on some beer arriving that goes in the east coast cases. please accept our apologies that it’s happened on your order. cheers Louise

All very good until you try to use the money off voucher for next purchase, the voucher code is typed in fonts impossible to interpret

I didnt receive any message about delivery and slot time. And i ended up driving 1 hour in order to collect beer. Costly and inconvenient.
