Very disappointed with the service received from Beer Hawk. First order placed for 5 items and only 3 of them arrived – one beer was out of stock (website still let me order it and showed it as available). The other item was missed off when packaged. Email raised with Beer Hawk with a quick response back (only good point). Refund issued for the missing items with a coupon for £5 off a future order. I would of preferred to be offered the items missing (or an alternative) instead of issuing a refund straight away (even if there is a little wait until they are back in stock). So to summarise I paid £4.99 delivery for 2 bottles & a glass…

However on this occasion we clearly let you down and we take all feedback forward to ensure that it does not happen again. Gave them a second chance ... Ordered 15 beers. Case arrived promptly. But four beers missing. They had been removed from my order (after I had checked out and paid) because they were out of stock - even though the website said they had them in. Of course Beerhawk.co.uk didn't get in touch to let me know any of this, or even refund me for the beers they couldn't deliver - I was left to do the chasing. Gave them a second chance after the chaos before Xmas. But more fool me. Lost my custom for good this time. Gonna try Beer Ritz or Beer52 - lots of good alternatives out there.

I purchased my case of beer about 3 weeks ago and it still hasn't arrived. They said Parcel force couldn't find the address and would have to pick up the case from the depot an hour away, which is completely unreasonable because of their failure to do a simple task. The customer service person who phoned me said Parcel Force would send it again, but as of yet nothing has been received. I tried to phone customer services and despite phoning within the working hours stated on the message they still didn't answer. I emailed customer support and after about 3 working days the latest message is they are trying to get in touch with Parcel Force. I am so far very disappointed in the service and a treat has turned into a logistical problem and headache. Haven't even tasted the beer yet, it better be good after all this wait. Terrible, poor service and worse customer care. Their products are good (if you end up getting them) but not worth the hassle, shop somewhere else.

So many issues with this service: 1) I was bought a gift voucher, which didn't work on the site. Your CX person was helpful in replacing this with 'beer tokens', but these (unlike a gift card) cannot be used in conjunction with discount codes, meaning I had to spend more than I intended. 2) My order arrived on time, but only four of the seven items I ordered were in the box. When I contacted you, I as told the warehouse had 'mispicked' and would send the rest out asap. 3) A week later, another box turns up, with only two of the final three items I ordered in it. How can there be two mistakes in one order?? 4) Frustrated by this, I requested a refund on the rest, which despite being told would be fine has not arrived in my account four days later. 5) Finally, your packing is so anti-environmentally friendly. Each order I've received arrives in a huge cardboard box, far larger than required, especially for the order that had two solitary bottles in. I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone unless some of these absolute basics were resolved. I'd love this service to work as the idea is great. However in future, until things markedly improve, I will use competitors e.g. Beer 52.

Tom, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review and we do appreciate your comments. We have had issues with the voucher codes and are currently resolving this. We are also overhauling and reviewing packaging to reduce our carbon footprint. We take all comments forward and resolve any issues. Cheers Stu

I was sent the same box for three (!) consecutive months, despite it being advertised that the same beer will never be received more than once within a twelve month period. I never received anything further. The customer service was absolutely appalling, at no point I felt my complaint was being taken seriously. My whole membership, including my attempts to terminate it, have left me frustrated and very disappointed. Would recommend to avoid this service at all costs.

Item ordered in September for delivery in November. It's now January and the item is nowhere to be seen. No contact at all from Beer Hawk. When I chased them I was told the item is no longer available and I'd be refunded...no apology, and still no refund.

Still not had my order placed before Christmas. Phoned twice and spine to rwo different people who said they would look into and German back to me. Still waiting!! Also sent an email and had no response!!! Feel like I've lost my money as no one seems to care!!!

Dan, That's not good and you should have been notified regarding the item. We are now putting processes in place to ensure this does not happen again. I have today ensured your refund is placed and apologise for the lateness of this as it is not the norm.

Terrible communication and customer service. After placing my order I received a confirmation email stating my order will be processed and dispatched within 5 working days and that I would receive another email when the package was dispatched. 8 days went by and I hadn't heard anything, so I called 'customer services' to check if my order had already been sent and apparently 'nothing' had been done with my order since I placed it. I was given a number for head office to chase it (myself), this number just rang through back to the main customer service line again where I was told I would receive a call back from head office explaining what was happening with my order. This never happened, so the next day I emailed to chase where my order was, again. I was told one of the beers I had ordered was 'out of stock' and so they were waiting on it to become available again so they could send it out. I was never asked if this option was acceptable to me, nor received an apology. What I find confusing is the Beer was in stock when I ordered it and it then took 9 days for any explanation but only because I chased it, otherwise I would never have been made aware. It would have been nice to have been asked if I wanted to wait for the out of stock Beer, or pick an alternative or receive a refund but those choices were not offered. I chased and chased and finally received my order after 2-3 weeks from ordering. Not the 5 days as stated in the original email. Not once did anyone offer an apology for the extra time to wait, or the fact that my order had got delayed and then the Beer was no longer in stock. To add insult to injury I selected that I would like a gift message with my order and that was nowhere to be seen when it finally arrived. Will I be recommending to friends and using Beer Hawk again, no!

As per other posters ordered dispenser and keg for Christmas - got the keg but no dispenser and despite assurances all was fine never materialised in time. Kept being told to ring customer services - the number for which I was given was always answered by the people telling me to speak to customer services and they couldn't help.....

Guaranteed Christmas delivery of beer dispenser and keg turned out to be anything but guaranteed, leaving husband with a keg of beer he couldn't open on Christmas day. Dispenser finally arrived yesterday 4th January after making a complaint, very disappointing.

Will never use again Items purchased were for a Christmas present and arrived on 3 different days.beer dispenser +2 free kegs.got 1 keg then dispenser then other keg after Christmas.surely they should all have come together. After calling twice and being promised a callback and the issue would be looked at as urgent I am still waiting. I had an email to say sorry your order has now been dispached and that was 2 days after the delivery was made. Terrible customer service

I've had good experiences with Beer Hawk (in the north), but this most recent has been appalling (south)! Ordered with guaranteed delivery for Christmas (it was a present) and was emailed to say on the way although tracking showed incomplete - I emailed Beer Hawk to ask where it was and then received another dispatch email after Christmas with a tracking link which showed 'delivered' and signed for by Graham - not knowing a Graham I rang Beer Hawk to be told Graham works for Beer Hawk and the delivery had been returned, did I want another delivery?!!!!! Over 3 weeks later and nothing has been delivered and no email to say sorry or tell me what's going on. Dreadful.

Bearing in mind i am still yet to receive the main part of this order (perfect draft beer machine) this isnt going to be positive. I was promised my order 2 weeks ago but still not arrived. I have made many calls and always had a different answer depending on who Ive spoken to. Ive never received a call back or any sort of notification when promised. I am shocked and appalled at how bad Ive been treated and have had to tell several friends who want to purchase this machine to purchase elsewhere.

I haven't received my order 3 weeks later, I have asked for a refund but hasn't happened. Can't get through to customer services, have had to raise a pay dispute with PayPal. Do not order from here!!

I ordered 2 kegs plus a perfect draft machine in mid December, the kegs arrived but NO machine. I phoned twice (no answer). So over the holidays I had 2 kegs but no machine. Having emailed I got NO response. Yesterday I called again and was told I'd have the machine today - still had nothing delivered. Very, very poor.
