I am very disappointed with my recent order with beer hawk and will not be ordering anymore unless I am compensated for waste of time. After calling customer services and the main office (I was told If I am not happy I can get a refund . Which was not an option because I was gonna split my order with a friend. And there was nothing else that they could do.) when I finally recived my order Firstly my order was delivered 1week late. Then after going through it I found I was a couple of bottles missing. All on I would not recommend beer hawk. I work hard for my money and in the future will use a more reliable service and will advising my family and friends to do the same

On 14 December 2016, I ordered 14 different beer types for a fun beer-tasting event in my extended family, expecting them to be delivered around 20/21st. I did not hear anything from Beerhawk by 22nd and phoned. I was told the beer would arrive on 23rd and given a tracking number. I explained that my family had 4 houses booked for Christmas in the West of Ireland and that the beer must arrive on 23rd to travel there with us. On the morning, tracking told me to expect the beer that day. In late afternoon, on contacting trackingagain, it informed me that the delivery was delayed and the beer would not arrive until 28th. I immediately cancelled the order with Beerhawk but, surprise surprise, found the beer sitting on our doorstep when we returned from the West on 30 Dec. What more can I say??!!

John, Appreciate the review and apologies for the issues faced. We have taken this up with the courier as the delivery by them was out of our hands and they should not have changed the date. We are working hard to alleviate this kind of issue in the future. Regards Stu

Used Beerhawk a number of times usually been good but last order was the last time. I ordered well in time for Christmas (on 12th Dec) and had to chase twice to see what was happening to my order, finally getting it delivered on 23rd Dec. There were two beers ordered that were not included. One was an imperial IPA which had a coffee beer substituted (coffee beer is cheaper). The other was not substituted but I did get a partial refund of the cost of the beer. I have raised support tickets on Beerhawk website to see what happened but these have been closed with no response back to me. Will not be using again.

I just want to make clear that I do not usually write bad reviews but this company is so bad I felt I had to warn others. I placed an order for four different items on Saturday 17th December, they were all for Christmas presents. I sent an email immediately after I placed the order to check that it would be delivered in time for Christmas and never received reply. I emailed again on Tuesday 20th Dec to check that my order would arrive in time for Christmas and once again never got a reply. I then received a marketing email that evening advertising that there was still time to order for delivery before Christmas so I was reassured that my order would arrive in time. I then called on Wednesday 21st Dec and was told that my order should arrive the following day on Thursday, I explained that my work was closed on the Friday (that was delivery address) and he said that I should call the following morning if I didn't receive any tracking details or a dispatch confirmation email so I could change the address to my home. I didn't receive any tracking details on the Wednesday so assumed it had not been sent that day for delivery on the Thursday so I called on Thursday morning to change the address to my home. Nobody picking up on the first attempt so I called about an hour later and got through to a pretty rude lady and was told to call the customer service number (which was not on the website) so I called that number and got through to the same person! She said that the customer service team must have been busy so she would try and help. She said she could only see what I could see and that the order had not been sent so was unlikely to arrive before Christmas. Therefore I asked for my order to be cancelled so I could go out and replace all the gifts. She said she could not do that but would put a note on the order to ask for it to be cancelled. I then emailed to cancel as I was not convinced that the lady on the phone had done anything. I received a reply later that day saying my order was going to be sent that afternoon so I immediately replied and said could it be sent to my home as my work would be closed. I didn't receive a reply to that email until the Friday evening saying they attempted to deliver to my work but it was closed (which I had told them it would be) and that they would be delivering the order to my home on Christmas eve (Saturday). I had already bought replacement gifts on the Friday so I didn't even was the items anymore. When the order actually arrived only two of the items were delivered!!! I was given a refund for the missing items and am going to keep the other items for future gifts as I can't bare to have to deal with Beer Hawk again when trying to return them. All in all this is the WORST COMPANY I have ever had to deal with. I understand that sometimes items are out of stock but all they needed to do was communicate with me and then I could have replaced the gifts with plenty of time. Beer Hawk, you really need to sort out your customer service! The product range is great but the service is absolutely terrible.

James, Appreciate the feedback and apologies for the issues you faced. We received an unprecedented amount of orders that caused us some issues and we have learnt from this. Customer services was extremely busy and so we did have issues in speaking with customers and we are aware of the problems this caused. We have reviewed our processes since and have new plans in place to ensure the same does not happen again.

I ordered a perfect draft beer dispenser in the run up to Christmas as a gift for my husband. I was told it would arrive in time for Christmas. What arrived on the 22nd was 3 kegs and no dispenser. I called to be told it was being dispatched and i would get it either on 23rd or 24th. Its now 4th Jan and still no dispenser. Just called Fiona at Beerhawk to complain and ask for refund, received a polite 'sorry' and was told i would now need to wait 5 days or maybe 3 for a refund! I dont have the goods i ordered why the hell should i have to wait for a refund! A complete joke and i would never use again.

Thanks for the review and we apologise for the issue regarding your delivery. I am aware you have received a refund and sadly the 3 or 5 day wait is down the the banking system and not Beer Hawk as we refund immediately and it leaves us immediately.

after 3 weeks and me chasing them 4 times and being told twice my order was ready for dispatch, I was finally informed that my items were out of stock and was refunded my money, after making another order my item arrived at my work on my day off, without me receiving any email of dispatch or any emails from a courier company so I was unaware it had arrived.

I have absolutely no idea where my beers are. The website originally stated that I would receive the beers in the new year, which worked for me as I was away for Christmas. The delivery date then changed to when I was away, and so I wasn't in. I appreciate this was a quicker delivery, which is good, but it would have been nice to have a bit more notice. Since then, I have tried to rearrange the delivery, with no luck. I would really just like the beers I paid for.

I ordered a product on the 01/12/16, I received no communication about my product and did not receive my product and therefore talked to a member of the customer services team on the 15/12/16. I was told tha it was out of stock and it would be out to me by Christmas. On the 19/12/16 I received an email that the product was out of stock and would not be in for Christmas and therefore me order had been cancelled. I was very disappointed considering that this was 6 days before Christmas limiting my time to buy a new gift for my father. I then wrote to the customer services team to complain about the service I had received and lack of communication about my order and was basically told it wasn't their fault. I find this very disappointing and the service very poor and due to this I am unlikely to shop with Beer Hawk again!!

Website states 5 working days delivery. Had to call twice and email twice before order turned up nearly 3 weeks after placing order missing my dad's birthday. Customer services blamed the logistics provider. Would not recommend.

Ordered my Chirstmas beer selection box as a gift on 18-12-2016 and was assured I'd receive this by 21-12-2016. Still not arrived by Christmas, was told I can collect by 28-12-2016 from their depot which is half a mile away from my delivery address. What good is a Christmas selection box to anybody on the 28th of December!?

Never received. Had to visit family on Xmas Day empty handed. It seems as though alot of people have had the same issues, even before Christmas. I am really not happy.

I don't know about the beer as it was a gift but the delivery was a shambles! Your website clearly said it would be delivered within 5 days, after no show and 3 phone calls from me you finally offered to cancel my delivery charge. My daughter, to whom it was addressed, had left home for Christmas by the time it was delivered (more than 2 weeks after order) and my son-in-law fortunately found the box tucked behind a wheelie bin instead of in the recommended indoor place. Not too much rain so it was only slightly damp! If the beer is good I might like to use your firm again next Christmas - can I hope for something better?

In selecting a firm to deliver beer, I expect that the delivery will be carried out with damage to my property. I regret to say that on this occasion this was not the case. The delivery took place whilst we were not at home. We have electric gates and there are there simple instructions on the gate as to how they should be opened. On returning we discovered that the gates were in the open position and had not closed after the delivery had taken place. After fiddling with the controls we managed to close them except that we were not able to completely close them. We will have to get our gate adviser to inspect them and determine what needs to be done to repair them. We suspect that the delivery vehicle somehow hit them and interrupted the closing cycle. We are now left with gates which don't properly shut and which allows our two black labradors to escape.

I find it amusing that I have been sent this request to review this company as I am still waiting on my delivery of my purchase from the 13th December after numerous e mails sent back and forth between myself and beer hawk!! Apparently my purchase was in transit on the 24th December I am still waiting! I have tried to contact both the company and uk mail and no body has got back to me yet! Total waste of my money! I will be taking this further!!!

Ordered as a Xmas present - still not received and we're now in 2017. Told several times our for delivery even though courier said otherwise. Now told that they have refunded me but that hasn't been received either.

I ordered these beers on the 15 November and paid a reduced charge as an introductory offer. I was told they would be despatched on 8 December. I was charged again, the full price this time, on 7 December. Despite two phone calls and two emails nobody has got back to me with an explanation. The week before Christmas I received an automated email to say the beer was on its way but nothing has arrived and it is now New Year's Eve. So, 46 days after ordering and having been billed twice I still have nothing to show for my £58.50.

Placed order over a week before Christmas and it's now 30th December and I am still waiting for ny order to be delivered despite calling and emailing Beer Hawk several times chasing it. Won't use them again!
