“The beers arrived very quickly, all the products that I've ordered were there, nothing missing or anything like that. All bottles were conditioned into a honeycomb style box, well protected. Shows care for the product and for beer lovers that is a PLUS for sure! I would not only definitely recommend the place but will order again as soon as the 20 I've ordered starts to run out ????????????????”

“Great service, great packing and not too expensive compared to the cost of going to Belgium. Not sure what the P&P would be on a smaller order, but for over £100 worth of beer in two boxes I thought it was quite reasonable. We really enjoyed the beers too. Some new, some old favourites. My next order will avoid the über bretts, and I'm going for classic tripels and dubbels, particularly the Westmalles and St Feuillien Tripel was one of my normal type faves. La Trappe too... oh more or less all of them. Anyway, thanks.”

“My initial order was damaged and one of the beers I ordered was then out of stock. I was not advised of this and only found out after I contacted beermerchants as my order never arrived. I chose two different beers to replace the out of stock ones, and my order was then delivered quickly, however the lack of communication throughout was frustrating.”

“My partner has coeliac disease so finds it difficult to find a variety of beers; so when I found your website I was excited to order some beers he hasn’t had before. It is the first time I have used you and was happy with how easy it was to order. The communication via email about my order and the delivery has really impressed me but I was disappointed the order was wrong when I received a beer containing wheat. I emailed you straight and heard back straight away, I was told to have the incorrect beer myself and received the correct one the next day. Very happy with the service and how the error was dealt with. Will be using again and told to other coeliac's how good the website is for GF beer! Thanks again”

“It's hard to give Beer Merchants a fair review as I placed an order for Cantillon on that fateful day. My order went through fine and was delivered promptly, but I will say I was not very satisfied with the level of packaging £100 wort of rare lambics were given: a single skinned box, designed for 12 330ml bottles, and no extra packaging to prevent the unwrapped bottles from moving around. Not what I expect my beers to come in!”

“The site caused me multiple issues when I tried to spend a birthday voucher. It kept emptying my cart and I couldn't log in. After 7 attempts the issue had finally been resolved and the order was straightforward after that. The beer arrived very soon after, but the whole experience has left a bit of a bitter taste even though I know it's now fixed.”

“My order of 6 bottles of beer and a glass arrived exactly on time and was what I expected so that was very good. The packaging was limited - there was no bubble wrap or shredded paper, just the kind of standard cardboard bottle divides that supermarkets provide. I'd only purchased 6 bottles and as the divider was for 12 bottles the beer had fallen over within the box. Luckily the bottles hadn't broken the glass ( which was completely unprotected ) and the beer was safe! Sorry - can only rate as average due to the poor packaging. Will probably use a different merchant next time.”
