“I was looking for some beers. I planned to take them to a New Year's weekend away at a mates in the country. I ordered more of the beers that my Bloke likes and a few of the beers that I like because I don't drink as much as him - at all. They all arrived in the same box like I wanted them to. It meant that we didn't have to sort packaging for the long journey for our beers in the back of the car. The giveaway was that it said Beer Merchants on the side of the box so the neighbours thought I was a lush, and it was not a surprise for my Bloke as he took delivery but hey. It's not the fault of Beer Merchants that our mates' flat down the road caught on fire on Christmas day which meant that we had unexpected overnight guests in shock and we all know that Blokes like beer for shock once they've had the mandatory sweet tea, because we're British and that's what we do in a crisis. So the crate with Beer Merchants on the side was opened before our New Year's weekend away trip with a ready packed supply of a variety of favourite beers from our local London micro-breweries that I had ordered on a whim and whilst I am very pleased with my purchase and the service, I am much less pleased with my Bloke as he promised to re-order and replenish the stores!”

“Pleased with the product, arrived in good time, the 2 glasses arrived in 1 piece which was quite an achievement considering that they were not packaged very securely and were able to move around in the very large box with only a "fragile" sticker protecting them from being broken in transit! The poor packaging is my only negative comment, should consider making it more secure and using boxes that are appropriate for the goods,”

“The pack I wanted was just what I was looking for in terms of beer selection but wasn't in stock when I first looked. I noticed it had come back into stock a few days later and tried to order but I got a message saying there was still one bottle that was missing in stock. The third time I tried it actually went through and bought 2 packs as gifts for 2 people for Christmas. When they arrived they were all in one big box which will make it tricky to package for the two people. It would've been nice to have an option for separate boxes to be included, even if it was an extra £1 or something. Otherwise, good points were price and having the selection of beers I wanted.”

“Over years I regularly ordered the Beer Merchant’s “Christmas Belgian Beer Lovers Case” hence it would be fair to say that I find this at least to be of reasonable quality & value for money. Well, I find this case good on both accounts. Some substitutions occasionally occur without loss of quality. With eighteen different beers, there are bound to be certain brews that I’m not too keen on, I fully accept that but the inclusion of the chemical enhanced/tasting Fr?li & the dreadful Blanche de Bruxelles are mistakes of the highest order, one suggestion is to replace these with a decent Boon bier. This year the case came with a Brugse Zot challis & the associated blond bier.”

“Ordered a case as a gift for a friend's recent house purchase, the case arrived but it was missing one item! I phoned up and a replacement item was sent out but no further compensation offered. Overall I am happy with the service but to really shine and win me over some sort of discount on a future order would have been great (I just ordered another case for a friend).”

“When my order arrived, I had an item missing from the box. This was very disappointing as it was for a gift. However, when I sent an email about this I was given options to solve the issue and this was done quickly.”

“Great selection of Beer, easy to use and well thought out website and quick delivery don't quite make up for the fact that the prices are just slightly too high. I'm glad I got my order and have been enjoying my beers but I don't think I'll be ordering more anytime soon.”

“Ordered 6 cans of Kona Longboard, expected as per the image and just like when purchased in the USA that they would arrive in their cardboard carry box. Didn't happen :(”

“Site easy to use, great range although a few issues with stock on certain products. Beer arrived well packaged but 1 can hadn't survived the journey - didn't look like an issue with packaging however, so no fault of Beer Merchants.”
