“The beer itself was great but I have a couple of issues with the way the beer is packaged. The box arrived emblazoned with branding which, as a gift, was not ideal. The box also looked as though it had been kicked down the stairs, with one of the branded glasses being smashed to bits inside the box, which then involved fishing out the broken glass and cleaning each beer to avoid injury. The beer tastes wonderful, but was marred slightly by the packaging errors.”

“From their catalogue it's not clear what's in stock, and what's not. Meaning as I'm ordering for a bunch of my team, they put their orders in and then we have to find replacements. If BeerMerchants could grey out those not available, it would be useful”

“Well - mixed feelings to be honest. I am a "beer collector" and previous to my visit to London (I am from Mexico) I did my research and purchased online some beers I wanted to try. Beer box was correctly shipped to my hotel (Renaissance St Pancras) but it was delivered to the "hotel providers" area instead to the Concierge (explanation was that as the box said BeerMerchants they thought it was actually a hotel provider) The hotel - as they thought it was a package of a provider - opened it and actually consumed 2 of the beers in the restaurant (as pilot beers)! So I finally got the package with the rest of beers but well... very strange situation: who's fault is it? Haha dont know, but there was clearly a loophole. Thanks”

“Great selection, keen prices, good amount of stock, quick delivery. I'm very happy. Just taking off one star, as you need to use more recyclable packaging - I appreciate I'd ordered glass items, but there is no need these days for vast amounts of polystyrene beans.”

“Had a slight problem with the Beer Merchants website ordering system with regard to the lack of a confirmatory e-mail of my order, which forced me to contact them with an enquiry. However once this was quickly sorted out the order was confirmed and the package arrived the next day without further problems. Hence, thanks to the efficient way they dealt with my problem and the speed of delivery, I would definitely use them again.”
