“I chose Bella Belle shoes because after researching how great the quality would be, I thought they would be perfect, for the price. However, I had a much different experience. I ended up wearing them early to "break them in". I only wore my shoes for all of three hours and the bottoms had more wear and tear than heels I've owned for 1+ years. Bella Belle shoes are made for wearing only one night or in my case not even. I was so excited to receive my wedding shoes, and I was left in pure disappointment.”

Hi Ashlee! We are so sorry to hear you were unhappy about your experience. Please note that the soles are made from smooth and delicate genuine leather and will therefore be subject to marking upon the first wear. This is not considered a defect. This is a natural process and part of the normal wear of the shoes. We do recommend getting them re-soled with a water-resistant rubber sole if you plan on wearing the shoes on rough surfaces often or outside. “The return policy is unrealistically strict and frankly takes advantage of buyers. The shoes that I sent back had only the slightest toe marks. Everything else was in mint condition. Plus, I had to pay to ship them back. AND the shoes that I received for an exchange also had very slight toe marks (not mine!) and I didn’t bother to contact the company. I would have, had I known that I was going to be given a hard time. I don’t see how Bella Belle will ever have repeat customers. The shoes are pretty. They are somewhat comfier than other brands but not as comfortable as advertised. Lastly, I was in between sizes and had to buy a heel filler. It just seems like the design and construction doesn’t match the price or marketing. Overall, I would not recommend Bella Belle. If you “want to make it better,” please accept my return and refund me the price of the shoes plus the extra shipping.”

Hi Jennifer! We are sorry to hear you feel this way. As per our return policy, shoes that have indentations, scuffs, or toe prints are not eligible for return or exchange. The shoes we received from you do have multiple indentations/scuffs on the soles and toe prints on the shoes which can be seen in the photos attached. This means that the shoes are no longer in sellable condition, and so cannot be accepted for return. We advise customers to wear stockings while trying on the shoes to prevent toe marks. We also advise our customers to try on shoes with clean feet on carpeted areas to prevent accidental damage. If we were to send these shoes out to another bride, it will be very upsetting to her.

“I really love how these shoes look, but unfortunately they tore my feet up. I wore them during the dancing portion of my wedding and also the day after for pictures with my groom. The beading literally rubbed my my skin off. It was agony walking around in them. I had to force a smile on my face when I was in so much pain. I wish they had some kind of backing to prevent this from happening because if so they would have been my comfortable Cinderella wedding slippers. Very disappointed in my purchase especially since they are pricey shoes!”

“Absolutely horrible shoes. Had blisters within 30 minutes of wearing them and was extremely disappointed with the product given the exorbitant cost. Would not recommend these to any future bride!”

“The sole is not meant for outdoor weddings. Unfortunately, it snowed the day before and it destroyed the whole sole. I had to find a cobbler to repair it. My husband’s leather sole did not turn out as bad as mine.”

Hi Clarise, so sorry to hear about this! I see that you did not remove the plastic sole lining. The part that is destroyed is the plastic lining, not the leather sole underneath. If you remove the plastic lining, you'll see a smooth leather sole. Thank you!

“I had such a tough experience with Bella Belle Shoes. Because the styles are mostly only online. I chose to order everything right from the site. I ordered about 10 different shoes that varied in style and size bc they all fit so differently I ended up going with the Edna shoes and even bought heel and ball cushions for long wear. THESE SHOES HURT SO BAD. I wore them for my wedding reception and getting the ready part and couldn't bear them any longer. Not to mention, delivery was also a headache bc the parcel kept getting lost. This is coming from someone comfortable wearing 4inch heels. Sadly, I would recommend going with a different brand. These are cute but not sustainable at all. The support was awful, the material not great, the beads were painful bc there is no lining on the inside of the shoe. And the bottoms were slippery. When it came to returning everything, they didn't even offer free returns and took a couple of weeks to get my money back. So disappointed. You're better off spending less money at David's Brial.”

“I purchased these shoes for my wedding under the impression that they would be comfortable. Unfortunately they proved to be the most uncomfortable shoes I’ve yet to wear. They were so bad that both of my feet bled.”

Hi Suzanne, thank you for your feedback. We are so sorry to hear you are not happy with the fit of the shoes. Everyone's foot is very different, and the comfort really depends on the shoe cutting and the shape of your foot. We always recommend breaking in shoes beforehand, so that the shoes can mold to the shape of your feet. If some areas of your feet are prone to blisters, you may want to use friction balm or moleskin to protect skin that is easily irritated.

“It’s awful the way this company treats people. My wife bought shoes from them for our wedding, took only one of them out of the box at the dress shop (carpet & with clean feet) to try it on. It didn’t fit so we sent back, but Bella Belle refused to honor the return because of a “toe mark” on the shoe my wife tried on. All she did was try on one shoe for maybe a minute. When they sent the shoes back I didn’t see this toe mark they’re talking about. The shoes are in perfect condition, yet they won’t accept the return. It’s borderline criminal and I would strongly encourage anyone to steer clear of Bella Belle. There are plenty of other wedding shoe stores that would never do this to their customers.”

“Very disappointed in your strict return policy. I returned a pair of wedding shoes for my daughter after buying 3 pairs. I was a couple of days past the 30 days and was offered a credit not a refund. You should look at the purchase history before responding to your clients. Terre Braunreuther”

Hello Marina, Thank you for sending the picture. Please note our soles are made with leather in very light beige color. Any dirt / water mark will show very vividly on the soles, in contrast to the lightness of the soles. The marks will be uneven until further wearing and the durable leather will smooth out over time. This is a cosmetic imperfection, which is expected after wearing, rather than durability defect. If you prefer to keep the soles looking pristine and light beige, we suggest applying a layer of sole protector on them to preserve the soles from getting soiled. Thank you.

“These shoes are poorly made, they are extremely narrow at the front and hurt like no other shoes I have ever worn before. The shoes were my size (they even had room in the back), but they are extremely tight in the front, I had to take them off as soon as my ceremony ended, I was in so much excruciating pain and I changed into some cute white aldo heels that I casually bought for when I got my marriage license. I wish I would of never worn the Belle Belle shoes and returned them right away, I cringe every time I think about the pain that I experience with those shoes. PS I broke them in before with a huge pile of socks and tried to stretch them out as much as possible, but as I mentioned, they were poorly made since they were so narrow (I actually have a very thin and narrow foot, ive never had a problem like this, this is how I know that the shoes were not made correctly). It's so sad that I paid so much money for a shoe that I only wore for an hour.”

“I bought these shoes and paid a lot of money because they were padded and boasted they were the most comfortable shoes . If you want to pay a lot of money to only wear a pair of shoes for a few hours I guess these are for you. Save your money and just buy a cheaper pair of shoes. I wore these shoes for around 5 hours and the soles are completely ruined. I do not recommend these shoes. Not for the money. The are not worth it.”

“I purchased these shoes because I wanted to be comfortable on my wedding day and paid more than I would like! They were so uncomfortable I could barely wear them through the ceremony and had to switch to sneakers. Although they were beautiful, they were not a “12 hour wedding shoe” as advertised”

“I had returned my wedding shoes because they were too big on me and I had both bows in the box. I am 100% positive. I then got the shoes repacked and sent back to me with no refund. I am beyond shocked. I feel like this is a scam and to have to deal with this and a wedding is beyond stressful. I was planning on trying out more shoes from you but I will not shop here again.”

“For an online store, you have way too many rules about purchasing shoes. More than 2 shoes returned is subject to a restocking fee and people have to pay for their returns (which aren't cheap). If you aren't going to have a store, you can't force people to pay extra to see what styles they like or what size fits them. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.”

“My shoes went on sale right after i purchased (within 30 days) and I was not giving any reimbursement or store credit. Was treated very poorly with customer service. For how much I paid for my shoes.”
