Ordered and paid in full for an adjustable bed and headboard in March (before lockdown). Finally received the headboard in August turns out it’s not the headboard we ordered, after emailing with no reply every day for a week, I called the shop who actually managed to get it sorted even though they had to put a new order in. Were they just hoping we would accept a headboard that was over £150 cheaper?. That finally was delivered 3/4 weeks later. The bed is another matter, text received that delivery was between 7th and 11th September. That has come and gone with nary a peep from them. I will never buy so much as a pillow from them ever again. Staff in the shops do their best but everyone else in this appalling company just ignores you, disgraceful.

Ordered and paid for 2 mattresses on 20th July given delivery date of 9th September and that we would be notified 2 days before to confirm delivery. I phoned and emailed them 2 days before as I had not been contacted,delivery was confirmed on the phone and via emali for between 1 and 6 p on the 9th.. 7.03pm on the 8th received a message to say only 1 mattress was being delivered. Rang customer services on the morning of the 9th and after over 30 minutes on the phone nobody could tell me anything regarding 2nd mattress so I asked them to cancel the while order and was told this could only be done on line. I immediately did this and asked for a full refund. At 9.30 the driver phoned to say he would be here in the next hour (remember I was told between 1-6 ) told him not to call as I would refuse delivery as order was cancelled. Had to request a refund a second time as they did not reply to my emails glad to say I have got my money back .

Had a text message last week to let us know that we would be contacted a couple of days before delivery date to confirm delivery time. However we have been called today by employee from Bensons for Beds to tell us that our delivery of 2 single divan beds and mattresses has been delayed. We were expecting them to arrive next Wednesday 16 September but now we learn they will not be delivered until 9th November. After reading these reviews we’re feeling worried that they won’t arrive then. Wish we had gone somewhere else now!

I went and spent £1,149.98 on a mattress and bed. This was two months ago and was told the delivery date would be today and I could pay someone to set the bed up. Bed didn't come and I had the man asking me if its been delivered yet. when I called up I was told they don't have it in stock and I have to wait till they have it back again. I then had to say sorry for the handy man for them wasting my time and theirs. I don't know when I will get the bed and im now sleeping on a mattress as I got rid of my bed thinking its coming today. I will never ever use this company again. what kind of customer service or business are you even running? taking my money and making me wait. Joke!!!!

Please sign and help share our petition to get Bensons for Beds investigated by the media and for them to answer why they are failing their customers so badly. Our experience started well with Bensons.. great in store sales team at New Malden who were knowledgeable. I even left a 5 star review to applaud that. However, once they have your money, it went terribly wrong. On the planned delivery date, the bed never turned up and we had no communication to say so. I rang their customer services team at 4pm and was advised that they'd known beds to be delivered as late as 11pm sometimes, so we hoped for the best. The following day, with no explanation why the bed had not arrived, I rang customer services (annoyed as we had slept on the sofa for the evening, including my pregnant wife). The order was rescheduled for a further 2 months and the only compensation offered was an inflatable bed which we had to buy ourselves from their store (and they claimed they would refund). This was not acceptable in my eyes and we declined. Staggered, I tried to raise a formal complaint and was passed between departments, and also asked to contact the store. Still no bed. A few days on, I rang to make a formal complaint and was advised it was a supplier issue (the first we'd heard of this) and that there was no way we would get the bed before Nov 2020. As compensation, they were prepared to offer £50 cashback (on an order value of £1,350). Frankly, this was an insult of an offer and we will be cancelling our order. The customer services staff are nice, and advised to make complaints on social media, as there is nothing they can do with the current internal processes. Perhaps my feedback on their staff is that they are not consistent with their advice. I can live with supplier disruption due to covid, but the lack of communication leading to my pregnant wife sleeping on cushions for two evenings was simply unacceptable, not to mention needing to buy a temporary bed at short notice. AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID. I cannot stress enough have different an experience was before and after they had our money. Absolutely shocking.

Do not purchase anything from this company, they give you zero customer service help, and ignore messages when things go wrong. My daughter purchased a rolled mattress on 13th July, a mattress was delivered on 10th August, but it was a Kingsize instead of the double she ordered, and now has no bed. A month later we have had no reply from them when complaining by email, and they do not answer the telephone. In store they are useless and just say we have to contact customer service by phone or email, they cannot do anything. We are especially annoyed as the mattress was marked in the shop as £319.99, but when my daughter went to pay it was £40 more. My daughter did not realise, but they were obliged by law to sell her the mattress for the price on it in the shop, but they broke the law and charged her more saying the sale had ended. This company is a shambles. I think they will go bust soon. Do not touch them with a barge pole!!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU ARE EXPERIENCED IN DEALING WITH CIRCUS ACTS. THE SALES PEOPLE WILL SELL TO YOU BUT THIS COMPANY CANNOT DELIVER TO YOU AS THEY ARE HAVING ISSUES WITH CASHFLOW SO ARE NOT RECEIVING GOODS FROM THEIR SUPPLIERS . YOU WILL RECEIVE A FALSE DELIVERY DATE SO THAT THEY CAN TAKE YOUR PAYMENT THEN TELL YOU HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER 6 WEEKS,

I will never use this company again! Spent £3000 with them. Bed was faulty and £900 wardrobe was faulty all faults reported to Bensons and they have done nothing about it so far! A man came to look at the bed and agreed it was faulty that was months ago. I will be taking legal advice to take this matter further. They don't answer the phone and customer service is nil. Be Warned!!

After having trouble with first bensions mattress, just had a second delivery. One of the delivery drivers for the logisitics company for bensons. a young man driving in a van with the REG of BD64 LHB, was extremly rude. Very immature and un-professional. After spending over £1,500 you would expect nothing but quality service. I would NEVER EVER recommend Bensons to anyone.

Ordered and payed in full for a bed on the 1st of july, delivery date, 4th of September. Confirmed on the 3rd that the bed would be arriving the next day, only to be told on the day of delivery that it couldn't be delivered until the 5th of November 2020. A joke

Bergen Wardrobe was due to be delivered 3/9 after paying balance as requested a week before delivery and guess what informed 2/9 that the delivery will not happen until 15/10, 6 weeks later after arranging a days holiday and a fitter to install the wardrobe can anyone guarantee this will happen on 6/10 I have my doubts after reading previous reveiws

I purchased a wardrobe and a TV bed from Bensons. Other than an issue with the physical delivery of the wardrobe I had no complaints. The bed on the other hand was a joke. It took months to deliver, leaving us sleeping on a mattress on the floor. When it did get delivered I have no end of issues. For a bed that costs nearly £2000 the quality is terrible. The slats that hold the mattress are flimsy and have broken multiple times and the sides of the bed have also broken. Customer Service were awful, absolutely no help at all. When the sides of the bed broke we were once again relegated to the floor,where we stayed for 2 months before Bensons arranged for the repairs. I cannot stress how poor both the quality of the bed and customer services were. I have vowed to never but from them again. My advice, do not give them your money.

I ordered and paid for a bed at the beginning of August. They later gave me a delivery date of 29th September. I immediately contacted bensons for beds By email for a refund as I couldn’t wait that long. I am still waiting and it is now 1st September. I explained that I am sleeping on my sofa as I cannot buy a bed until I receive my refund. I have sent around 10 emails and tried to phone them countless times. Not happy with the customer service and will never do business with bensons for beds again.

Terrible supply. We had just moved from abroad and needed beds for our kids so ordered two of the simplest bed designs simply because the committed delivery date was the following week. It is now 5 weeks later and still no delivery, but worse than this is the fact that several subsequent commitments have come and gone and each time I have had to contact them on the day to find our where the beds are. My kids are still sleeping on mattresses on the floor. Benson for Beds have no idea where they are, no tracking system to inform in advance and basically the entire distribution system is screwed up. I have multiple other orders with them which I am thinking of cancelling and will be submitting a complaint to the Ombudsman.

I had a complaint about a mattress less than a year old and only bought as a guest bed so only been used a about a dozen times. was told I needed to have a Technician check it because it was over six months old and I had to pay £48 for the technician. I refused and asked them why was there was no mention of this under the guarantee. to which they said because they didn't think they needed to. so now I will contact the ombudsman because I will not pay for the technician so they won't do anything DO NOT BUY! from this company! Customer service is certainly not for the benefit of the customer. They do not deserve to stay in business

Was due to get a bed and wardrobe delivered today was told a few days it would be delivered told we would receive an email confirmation of delivery to be told today it won’t be coming till October that the bed hadn’t even been made yet we threw our old bed out and was told the only other option was to get an air bed and they would refund some money for an air bed this company is an absolute joke think we may cancel the order we can’t wait that long for a bed when we’ve been wating 2 months already

I was sold a single bed base and mattress and head board for 410£, when it Turned up it was just a mattress and head board, I called the shop and the said I only payed for a mattress and head board , They basically lied me into buying a bed with no base just to sell me a mattress and a head board , very up set as to them just saying it was a mistake on there behalf and can only Ofer me a refund or sell me a base and waight another 6 weeks

I ordered bedroom furniture 9/January with delivery date of March 9th 2 days before delivery we got rid of old furniture ready for new furniture next day got call to say furniture was damaged at warehouse & after umpteen phone calls it was reordered then Covid I knew there would be a delay.got new delivery date 20th august yes 5 months later! After txt giving me time slot got phone call from distribution centre to say they didn’t have order !! More phone calls new delivery date 27th august day before I phoned for confirmation & wait for it they don’t have my order!! My husband phoned distribution centre as I had given up & a rude office supervisor who was no help at all said reorder or cancel so we CANCELLED I have never met such incompetent & unhelpful people in all my life so my advice avoid bensons for beds
