“Purchased a 65" screen TV for my son and daughter-in-law for their wedding. The TV was delivered per Best Buy and stayed in the box until they opened it- which was opened after their 15 day return policy. When opened, there was a crack in the screen. Best Buy Customer Service declined our request for return and replacement. We were told to check into having the screen replaced by the TV manufacturer who said it would cost more to replace the screen than buy another tv and encouraged us to call Corporate with the nature of the situation. Corporate was just as bad with customer service and declined helping us in any way. I am disappointed in Best Buy's customer care and service. We won't be returning and I won't be recommending them to others.”
“I tried to order a game online yesterday through Best Buy's website. Forgot to enter in a $10 reward before purchasing. Didn't think it would be difficult to either cancel the order or have Customer Service apply the $10 reward retroactively. 2 hours later and 6 representatives later I was told nothing could be done. Was transferred to different departments, had my call dropped twice and was put on hold for 15-20 min multiple times. Asked to speak with a supervisor because at this point I could care less about the $10 and was more upset at the time I wasted with no resolution and the archaic system they seem to have in place. Surprise - never received a callback. I'm over buying products from this place.”

Wow! I am happy & excited to receive this by July 26th 2020. Still haven't received it. It was paid for on July 20th 2020. I still receive e-mail messages from Best Buy that I am to receive the item on or before July 26th 2020. Look forward to receiving the item on or before July 26th 2020.
Have contacted Customer Service & they recommended that I file a complaint against Best Buy if I am to receive the item at all.
Terrible service. Best Buy Please! Please don't tell your customers they are expected to receive a particular item on a certain date when "You have No Intention to deliver"

“I have a medical condition with doctors note stating not to wear mask covering mouth but not nose. I went in, got what I needed and went to pay. Checkout person stated he couldn’t sell me until I put a mask covering nose. I explained my condition and had note available but he would still not allow me to purchase. I have not been in one retail store that has not accepted a customers medical condition whether it be retail centers, grocery stores, or hardware stores. The manager didn’t even come up to me and offer any solutions like curbside. Instead he hid behind a radio. I have no problem with social distancing, masks or what ever a business feels they need to do but they don’t make exceptions for customers with medical conditions.”
“Bought a laptop for my wife's birthday. The salesman said it would be ready before birthday party. They had to install Office Products and now we're protection. When to pick it up at customer service and they said it wasn't ready and wont for another couple hours. Pretty irritated. The salesman clearly just wanted my money. Customer service is poor.”
“We bought a modem and cable router then changed our minds and decided to use fiber since it's way faster. We tried to return the modem and router within the allowed return period (it was 15 days but they extended it to 30 days in Santa Cruz) but when we called they said they weren't taking returns due to covid. So now we call back and they say we're outside the return period. BE WARNED if you try to return something they play funny business and will use dirty tricks not to accept your return.”
“Bought a screen protector for my phone with a lifetime warranty. Had to come into the store to get it replaced 3 times in 4 months. The last time they took my name and address twice and kept me waiting 30 minutes. I was then informed that they had one in stock but couldnt find it. I could order one but I had to pay for it.
Never again do I want to buy something from them. I could have gotten better servive at the Dollar Store.”
“I purchased 2 items on line from Best Buy. The total purchase price was $31.64. I was double billed for the purchase. When I called the central office I was told that both items were 31.64. They were 2 DIFFERENT items, one of which was on sale. The agent kept insisting that the 2 items were exactly the same price. But the 2 entries on my credit card were EXACTLY the same: SAME number, SAME price, SAME date of purchase.
I will NEVER shop at Best Buy again and I will encourage my friends and associates to find other places to shop.”
“Best Buy is perhaps the worst company I have ever dealt with. I am 70 so I do have some experience. A charge was made on my credit card on May 24 or thereabouts for a purchase I did not make. A dispute was initiated and declined. After 4 hours on hold over 2 days Best buy would only deny responsibility and claim it was a good charge. I went to local law enforcement and filed a fraud action. An investigation ensued with law enforcement in Colorado and Missouri. The other party was contacted and admitted making the purchase involved. The first 12 numbers on his card and mine matched but the final 4 were TOTALLY different. A second dispute was filed and declined with Best Buy still claiming it was a good charge even tho they acknowledged the discrepancy in numbers. $65 is nothing to a company like Best Buy. I would think avoiding the bad PR that I will heap on them with what time I have left would be worth refunding my $65. I will NEVER set foot in one of their stores or buy anything on line from them. Oh yeah, they probably got a PPP loan from us that they won't have to pay back. Did I get a chance to decline that? One star is way the hell too many! I know of three people that BB lost as customers due to how they have treated me and I plan on signing up many more!”
“Bought a TV ~10 years ago with no issues. However, now trying to spend~2K for a new washer and dryer. Cant get a hold of anyone in store to help schedule delivery, chat windows are closed online, supposedly a problem with the online scheduler, yet no support available, just a horrible business. Buy your electronics or appliances ELSEWHERE! I will now purchase my new laundry appliances from Home Depot or Lowes.”
“I had a good experience with Best Buy when buying my computer in store. I put in a call with customer support informing me that it would be over one hour and they would return my call, which I did. I was then put on hold, for 10 additional minutes while they assisted others in the background, without answering assisting me so I hung up. What happened to quality control?”
“best buy took my online order twice, 2 payments were taken on my credit card and it was impossible to cancel ! i will receive 2 orders and will have to return physically to the store !!!! No car and during Covid ...impossible”
“Ordered a keyboard and DELIVERY was around 4 days later. I didnt get an update on shipping until the night it was supposed to be delivered.
The update was shipping label created. I figured it would ship the next day and deliver the day after. There was no change for 3 days after delivery. I ended up calling customer service.
The rep said UPS should pick up the next day (4 days later) and deliver the day after or two (5-6 days later). I asked if he could change the delivery to next day. He told me he couldnt. I then asked if he could give me next day shipping on a different item I want to order or a discount code. He then says he can give me next day shipping on the current order -_- . I took it, and plan to not buy online from BB again unless it's a sale deal. I'd rather pay retail price from B&H, Adorama, or some other electronics store.
UPDATE: Still hasn't shipped the item. Called again, and now they say it's coming on Tuesday ( a week after delivery, clearly the last call didn't work ). I then ask again for next-day delivery. This guy now tells me there is no next-day delivery (seriously..), and I just have to wait it out. He says my other option is a refund and to drive 40 minutes to a different city best buy to pick up the keyboard. I then say "Can you give at least a decent option other than waiting till Tuesday? A discount on the item, a discount on a future purchase". Nope! This guy literally can't give anything except a full refund apparently (so what can he do?). Whatever, ship it to me Tuesday. He then says an email will come later in the day. I respond "I don't trust you guys clearly, I want the email right now." Oh... he can't do that either apparently. He can't change delivery speed, provide a discount, OR send the email immediately.
TLDR; Order from Amazon.”
“I went to Geek Squad to repair a cracked screen on the computer I purchased there 6 months earlier. After waiting 10 days for an appointment, I was told that it would have to be sent out for repair, would take about 11 days, might not be covered by my service agreement, and might cost up to $250. 15 days later, after hours on the phone with people with wildly different stories, I was told that the repair shop had just looked at the computer and the new screen would cost over $500.”
“Purchased a big boy bed for our son online at 9 last night which was after closing. I called at 10 this morning and after an hour and a half on the phone got hung up on with no return call and was told not only could I not cancel the order but I am going to have to pay a restocking fee to return it. Not to mention it will take 25 min one way to get to a store, expose myself to covid and wait another month before I can buy his bed. Crappy policies and even crappies customer service!!”
“Placed order a month ago had appt for del 7/14. On 7/13 received confirmation of delivery. Tuesday morning delivery driver said not in someone would contact by 10 to reschedule I called the Kennewick as store at 12:30 was told delivery now 7/23! I then went online 3 different live chats 3 different agents. I then tracked my order said it was delivered! I called customer service asked why I wasn't told when ordered that there maybe problem? Why didn't they call me last week? Why not monday? Was told I'm sorry now it's 25th delivery. I said I was going to try to find a fridge would call back. They closed. So I went online to cancel order. Was told I needed to call because I ordered at store! (I did not) got hold of them this morning was told delivery now July 31. Was told I'm sorry. I canceled order. I asked who I could file complaint with sense I'm already talking to customer service and they are sorry! Was told when I got confirmation of cancel I could write them then. I am so totally disappointed and disgusted with this company. You would think they would try to get to me asap but no 3 weeks out and they are sorry!”

“Over all very upset with your delivery time frame. I took a day off from work Was given a window of 7 am to 1 pm . That is ridiculous! and 20 min to 1 pm, I received a call that my delivery was pushed back between 2 and 4pm. Know I had to call the cable company and see if I can push back the time for that. Guess what ! After holding for 20 min and finally getting an agent. Being told that I had to reschedule for the next day . I understand the times that we are in and all the precautions. Then don’t offer a delivery option. I am scared that this is going to happen with my next big delivery on the 8 th of August. Where I bought a stove, Refrigerator, and Dishwasher. This too is being delivered and set up by Your company. Let me add all the extra charges for all of this.
