DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Not happy with their delivery service, as I was informed it would only take 2-4 days, now 5 days later i am told it could take upto ten days, what a con. this is not acceptable especially when you need for courses, also refused to refund me. so do not use this company, plus unknown to me they signed me up for a subscription. Thats just not right.

Ordered 3 not so cheap but essential business books I needed pretty quick. 2 were delivered within the week. One is still missing 11 days later. Rung customer services a few days ago and was reassured they would get in contact with courier and they would keep me informed. Waited 3 days and no update. Rung up this morning to be told their customer service agent had not chased up the courier. The lady on phone this morning again assured me she would email courier and ring me back with update by end of her shift 4pm. No update by 3.45 so rung myself to be told courier has not replied back. So I will have to give them time until Monday for an update. Asked for an update Monday. Lets hope. Also asked for a manager to speak to but was told non available. Requested a phone call back from manager. Informed it will be 3-5 working days.WOW. While writing my review just got phonecall from customer services. Evri have confirmed parcel is damaged so won't be delivered. Also Customer services sending another copy but Monday. This will take anther 7-10 days minimum. Cant make this stuff up. Won't be using again in a hurry.

Terrible service! Takes several months to arrive! The business does not agree to refund for things that did not arrive! I was blocked for no reason!

Hi, The books i received were wrong books, those are not what i ordered. I ordered a total of 4 book but only received 2, and 2 of the books was two of the wrong books. I have sent email in regards to the wrong books that were sent to me but have not received response. Sad to believe how bad your company service actually is…

Order never arrived. If I could give zero stars I would! My order never arrived. I tracked shipping and could see it arrived in Sydney but that's as far as I could get. Contacted Blackwell's customer service to see if they could follow up and try locate my order. I was told they couldn't do anything because it has passed the 40 days they outline in their policy. I would have at least appreciated some assistance to try locate my order, or give me some direction to do it myself. Terrible customer service from international order. No refund offered.

First and worst experience. Ordered my book in Dec for a Christmas present for my grandma and my order never arrived. Contacted and change three customer service officers with each advising me to wait without providing any substantial details on the status of my order.The lack of transparency and resolution has left me extremely disappointed. If you are buying any books from them, think twice. The negative feedbacks are true!

Had to contact them to figure out what was going on with my order after no communication past a "your order has shipped email", they told me it was getting returned and that /supposedly/ I'll get a refund.

I ordered 6 books that should have been shipped together, they shipped them separately which resulted in me having to pay taxes for all 6 of them instead of being exempt of it, as stated on their website. They declined all responsabilities, but changed the infos on their website and refused to answer me after that. Do not buy from them if you live outside the UK, they are a scam.

My experience was downright horrible!!!!! I ordered "How do Japanese women stay young and look young" from them on 8 April 2023. On 13 April 2023 I received an email to say they had despatched the book. Then silence!!!! I emailed them on 28 April 2023 and a malay staff named "Raina Mohamed" replied saying I had to key in my tracking no. I tried to and the reply was "no such transaction". I emailed Raina again to ask her to check. Then she replied to say something stupid like she was checking. It is 3 May 2023 today in Singapore and I have been sending her many reminders. She still did not bother to reply. I told her to refund my money. No reply. Such horrible service. Can anyone advise how do I get my money back???!!!!

Missinformation through emails and 1 missing book from the 4 i ordered and paid for. Never got a refund or the book. Don't recommend.

This company misleads buyers from outside of the UK. Please if you are buying from them and you intend to ship outside of the UK, DO NOT check out as a guest. According to the business, you cannot track your order if you don't create an account.

Have tried 3 times to order a book on the Web site. No confirmation if payment went through or not. Wish I'd read reviews first..

Never again. Book ordered for a birthday well within time has still not arrived - customer ‘service’ (there’s a misnomer for a start) finally admitted that it didn’t leave within the promised time. Pity nobody thought it a good idea to let me know. Finally extricated a limp apology, but still no book and a disappointed birthday boy. The contract is that I pay and you send, Blackwells. Shame that only one of us kept to the agreement.

So, I placed an order and more than a week later get an email that I can't reply to saying the payment failed. This was after my bank confirmed the payment. The only thing I can think has caused this is that Blackwell's don't try to take the payment until the order is dispatched and because of the delay my bank rejected it. Sort it out.

I ordered a book on 10th June. There was no mention on Blackwells website at time of purchase that you needed an account to receive tracking information. Subsequently, I checked out as a guest. Did not receive any tracking information and my order never arrived. Customer service advised I needed to wait 25 business days for item to arrive. Which I did, then after contacting them again they promptly provided a refund. Not worth the time and effort. I ordered the same item from another online store, which was cheaper and arrived within 2 days. I would not purchase from Blackwell's again.

I learned a lesson, I screwed out when I purchased a book from this company! I live outside the UK and I am working overseas last March this year. They emailed me once they received the money. 💰 🤑 I screwed out also making the Blackwell's account. 🤣 They don't produce a tracking information or status of the shipment. When I returned to my home country this June, they said I should have reported within 40 days but the excused that it was already three months passed. I no longer expect anything from them, I won't trust online transactions anymore! It would be better buying from the real bookstore and not online. Money doesn't grow on trees nor you 💩🤣🙂 Thank you for your experiences I learned!

I will never buy anything from them again. I live in the UK and would expect a much quicker delivery of my order. Not so. Tracking is not possible and the staff are unable to give delivery dates. This company has not bothered to make any improvements despite customers' reviews. I expect the poor delivery issue would be much worse for overseas customers.
