“I read at least twice as fast as the timer. I understand you want to make sure people read everything, but there must be a better way to do it. The experience was quite aggravating”

“Easy to navigate program, felt very comfortable and prepared going into final test. Only critique is the wait time in between screens is a little long and a couple of minor grammatical errors in the text.”

“I have called 3 times, not once did I get through. I am hold as we speak over an hour? I emailed twice. This is the worst customer service I have ever had all for a boating license. HORRIBLE!”

“It was difficult with the timers, made the course about 5 hours long, when I could’ve completed it in about 2 1/5. I did it in a group of 3, and one of our finale tests did not work and you guys did not help us figure it out. So one person did all the modules to not be able to Finnish the course.”

“Good content. On criticism, there were some questions in the Manitoba provincial test that weren’t covered in the course material. But the content in the course was excellent and informative!”

“The questions asked in quizzes were usually not very helpful. A lot of questions involved asking about “which organization does this” instead of focusing on practical rules and regulations. There was also a lot of repetition in the course. As an educator myself, I think it could be updated to provide a better educational experience that makes it easier to remember information. More interactive modules would be helpful too.”

“AS OUTLINED BELOW AND STILL NO RESPONSE FROM ANYONE. THIS IS HORRIBLE SERVICE. IF ANYONE HAS AN ISSUE - HA HA - GOOD LUCK! “You should no longer "be a proud member" of Campfire Collective. We have an issue with our account - going on for over one month - and after repeated emails (with slow or no response) and trying to call where the number just rings and rings, we are still in limbo. Can't get answers. Got the wrong replacement card. Any way you can help us out here??? I also recently enrolled in the BOATsmart boat course and it would not allow me to apply the coupon my son was given once he completed his course. So far not impressed at all.”

“If a road license was this extensive there would be few drivers on the road. I have to believe there are a great many unlicensed drivers on the water because the material is too extensive and the exam too tough. Seems to me that there could be a number of licence levels which satisfy particular needs. Operating a small boat on my local lake vs a cruiser on the St. Lawrence River is decidedly different.”

“The course itself is not very informative. The questions asked at the end of the quiz are sometimes irrelevant or contain information not discussed in the module. Its fairly easy to get the license but that doesn't mean this course is a success. Would you want to be caught on the water with boaters that have half-assed their way through the online quizzes?”

“I had a problem , trying to to take my test . It took awhile for someone to get back to me. I had sent emails and tried to call with no results. After a couple of days a lady got back to me and resolved my problem. As it turns out it was a mistake I made.”
