“Happy to get my license but wasn't happy to spend 5 hours doing the practice tests and watching videos on something I already knew. Would have liked an option to skip right to the teest.”

“Very good course. I like being able to work at my own pace, fact that multiple exams are free and extra licenses obtained at no extra charge (main reason I chose Boatsmart). Only thing that could be made better would be feedback on wrong answers on practice tests at end of each module. I understand why this is not possible for the final exam but it should be for module exams and would be beneficial in learning the material and preparing for the final exam.”

“Good comprehensive course. However, too much repeated information and the time required before you could go to the next lesson was often much too long and had you sitting and waiting. The auto replay videos were also annoying. Other than that a good course and the videos were a nice touch.”

“Wonderfully constructed and presented with sufficient information to make passing the final exam a breeze. Can be significantly improved if when taking the module quizzes, wrong answers prompt the user to review the pertinent lessons. As it stands now, a user can score 80% and move on to another module without knowing which 2 questions were wrong in the section that was just completed.”

“Wow, way longer than I thought! But it felt great to pass with a 90%. The only thing I didn't like is when I failed module 2, it made me go through the whole (one hour?) module again. I was quite sure of where I went wrong and just wanted to double check a couple of things.”

“Happy to have the knowledge of what to do when encountering other boat traffic and water safety. But I would like to know which questions I got wrong. If I was in the situation of putting me or my passengers at risk for the questions I got wrong. I wouldn't know the right decision to make to keep them and myself safe and out of danger. I could make the wrong decision again thinking I was right during the test.”

“Course is thorough, but the time set for each slide is much longer than necessary to read through the slide. Wish it could have been done quicker”

“The test took 7 hours to complete not 3. This was with no breaks. After submission of the exam. The whole thing errored out. This was extremely frustrating. However these guys responded right away while I was flipping out. I greatly appreciated the good customer service from this company. It all worked out in the end and I passed! Bring on summer!! :)”

“I thought it covered the material very well, and I was left with very few questions. However, I feel the timing on every page before you were able to move on made the process very long. I was told it would take me about two hours, and I ended up spending nearly 6 hours over three days to complete it.”
