“I thought this was a very informative and complete exam with great visuals and audio. I learned a lot and the test very user-friendly. The only thing is I'd like to have a hard copy or full electronic access to this extensive material for future reference. I haven't asked, but if that is an option it would be useful and practical.”

“Very easy to follow, lots of time to listen/read the material. But you should warn people how long it will take to do the whole thing. Also, that you have to do a government test after that. I spent all afternoon and evening doing it. Endless......”

“The mandatory playing of videos is aggregating. I prefer to read then move on. I ended up buying the physical guide and playing the videos without watching them just to get to test. Took much longer than necessary to complete. Have the book for the boat and quick review also now. Don't tend to haven't Internet when cruising. Sample test questions were helpful.”

“Started course 2 years ago and got busy and returned to complete in 2017 with no problems. I just picked up where I left off to complete course. Online and phone support were both great and timely anytime support was needed.”

“I did not like the fact that the screens were timed. If I read one ahead of time and wanted to go back to look at previous one... it started back at 0 time. It should at least be timed for the speed a regular person could read it so you are not sitting waiting.”

“Well my expectation was that this would be a course that was so basic that it was simply to become a legal boater. There was a lot of basic stuff, which is good for beginners. There was ALSO a lot of new information on types of navigation systems and a few good rescue and recovery tactics. So I learned something as well.”
