“Final exam (passed at 84%) took me just over 12 minutes but was scheduled for up to 75 minutes which seems too long.”

“Great options for different learning styles with text, audio and video. However, I sometimes noticed that there were things said in the videos that were not in the text. Also, in the quizzes there was sometimes questions that were only covered in later lessons.”

“It was a good and easy course that only took the weekend. The only problem I had was that I had already read through your book multiple times but I still had to do tye video course. Other that that it was great!”

“Some may question why a handful of the slides take too long to complete counting down before allowing you to move onto the next question. I, for one, found this a benefit as it "pushed" me into reading the slide again. I found this a benefit as I do tend to read the questions quickly, which do jeopardize the correct answer. I am thankful for this approach as it helped me prepare for the exam. The questions at the end of the modules were well illustrated and presented.”

“A few errors in your content: motors refer to electric motors such as electric trolling motors or electric fan motor. Size, voltage, amps/watts do not matter. Engines refers to internal combustion engines such as gasoline or diesel. Also includes external combustion typs like the steam engine and the sterling engine. Turbines are a seperate category. Other than the above, pretty good.”

“Boatsmart made me happy because I was able to be educated in under one day. Downside was how it said it was free and then told me had to pay 30 dollars at the end. This website seems like it's just trying to take ur time and money like every other similar site. It's pretty stupid that you have to pay to be educated on boating when all u need is common sense.”
