“It taught me a lot of different things”

“Content of course was suitable to all and provided video, audio and written to meet different learning styles. I recommend feedback following the exam in regards to incorrect answers to ensure boaters have the right information. I would also recommend reviewing the order of components within modules as some summarized information that overlapped other components.”

“I read an older copy of the book first, but the on-line course was much easier to learn from. I learned a lot and found the materials easy to watch and you could go at you own pace, listen to a module again if need be too.”

“It was a little time consuming but was very informative on boating and and safety. Would have been nice to see wrong answers but when you had to do a do over the questions were different anyways so no big deal.I would recommend this course to friends and relatives.”

“Very thorough content, easy to access and well laid out. To improve learning in the modules, when a question is answered incorrectly on the quiz (I know you can't identify the question and correct answer), it would be helpful to identify the subject area that was incorrect. This would allow the learner to review the subject they answered incorrectly to ensure safe operations on the water. In the current application, it's oh well, you got 8 out of 10, keep going. While it's a pass, it's not ideal.”

“Rather not have to rewatch content if I fail a quiz that doesn’t matter. Also on quiz would be nice to know which answers I got wrong”

“I have Aspergers Which is a form of autism and my processing skills are not as quick as others so the amount of time was very difficult for me to get through without the assistance of my mother rewording the questions for me to understand. More pictures and to make the test more visually helpful for people with autism would be much appreciated. Sincerely, Nicholas Bond”

“It was a large amount of useful information that I absorbed.I liked the format too,watch the chapter and do the questions at the end before you can proceed.Boating on the water is serious business and you should the basics,no shortcuts.”
