“Bought the book at Canadian Tire, hoping to write the test quickly after reading the book. Had to listen to someone read the book to me (poor quality recording) before I could take the test... The videos weren't matched to the timer and I couldn't move on until the timer finished. The videos would play again immediately after finishing which became confusing sometimes (watching videos again!!). Don't know if that was just problems with my system and theirs? Otherwise, informative and convenient.”

“Although I thought the quality of the content was very good, I was in disbelief of the length of time and studying I had to do to achieve this, all for a 2 hour boat ride. It was absolutely GRUELING. It literally took me 2 weeks to complete, in between my busy schedule. My Sister was visiting from New Brunswick and I just wanted to take her on a simple little boat ride, with no intention's of owning my own vessel. I was in tears over the amount of time and studying I had to endure. Oh well, at least I have it for life now. God only knows of the next time I will ever need it again.”

“Well presented and explained, visually/orally, and transcribed through written/pictorial images and closeups of key components of learning. Great overall summaries. Knowledge gained encompasses general rules as well as rules specific to certain bodies of water; different water crafts, on board safety and flotation devices, emergencies and necessary equipment and gear, rules of navigation.”

“The course seems like it takes an eternity if you do it all in one sitting, but other than that it was fine. I liked the option of audio reading and or watching a video. Overall, a pretty slick and painless experience. Very cheap too compared to other websites. Would recommend to someone looking to take a boating education class.”

“The material is excellent and easy to understand. There's a timer to ensure that you don't just click through it super fast, which is convenient but didn't line up with the video lengths. Apart from the timer issues, I really enjoyed it, I learned a lot.”
