“I liked the program, but felt it was a little inconsistent at times with regards to which segments had the video and which did not. At least once the video did not cover everything on the written portion of the segment and I very nearly missed out on studying the information not covered in the video. Several times in the segments about rights of way, the coverage was very repetitive, so much so that it almost felt like a glitch or error. Overall well put together, but can use minor improvements. Thank you!”

“It’s was good knowledgeable and answered the questions on the test, was longer than I thought but I stuck with it ! I would recommend taking it especially for new boaters things were explained”

“The online course was stable on my browser, but I had to forget about learning at my my preferred pace--the lessons are displayed for a predetermined amount of time, before you are allowed to proceed, so you have several minutes wait multiplied by perhaps 140 screens. I probably spent an entire workday on it, with a lot of waiting. While the content was appropriate, at no time are you allowed to know which answers you got wrong not the quizzes and the final test. This is a huge learning opportunity lost.”

“Don’t like that you can’t just read through quickly and answer the questions. Most of the Information I knew already, so ha I g to wait for the timer was annoying. But I do get it, most don’t know all the info.”

“Good content. Some of the video took a while to load or did not load at all on my phone/iPad. It would have been nice to have a PDF of the summary sheets, which were very nicely done. The videos were great to watch as well. Wish there had been more of them!”

“The course was well presented and easy to sit through. The only improvement I would suggest is that it be possible to go back into the lessons after the course is completed and before taking the exam. Without being able to do this I couldn’t check my recall and understanding of a particular area before taking the exam.”

“The course was easy to follow and the visuals did a good job of enhancing the presentation. The lessons were just the right length. I did not find that the module summaries did a thorough job of preparing you for the tests.”

“I would like to know which answers I got wrong on each quiz and to be given the correct answer. In this way I could learn from my mistakes and improve my knowledge. To not know, means I will always get it wrong, unknowingly. To be educational, there needs to be a feedback loop. It would be useful to know the minimum time required to go through each module, in order to gauge the amount of time a person needs to allocate for the course. I found the required minimum time on each lesson frustrating. But, I'm assuming that's a regulation for an online course. So, knowing how much time is required for each module, would be helpful to plan one's time and also set one's expectations.”

“Great simple to follow course, a few interesting knowledge areas not obvious even to long-time water craft operators... some of the timers in some modules go way too long... a little frustrating if you've finished the module and want to move forward overall, very good!”
