“The course was very clear and understanding. It was able to inform me of things I never would have thought of and also has a lot of information on things I personally will not need to know, but if you are getting your license for other reasons rather than just personal uses, you should 100% need to know.”

“Hello BOATsmart, I am now in possession of my PCOC and I wanted to thank you for the course curriculum that you provided online. It was clear, concise, engaging and albeit, was enjoyable! I had purchased the BOATsmart book prior to taking the online course, and this helped me as well. I hadn't taken an exam in 25 years, so I needed all the help I could get as I did experience some trepidation prior to taking the exam. I loved the continued support you provided online, the videos, and I honestly thought everything was just expertly prepared and delivered. Not to inundating, but just enough knowledge was taught to make obtaining the PCOC card obtainable for anyone. Thanks for the experience, and I am very proud to have attained such an important license! Thanks again for all the work that transpired to provide this alternate online venue. “I do like how it was very informative. It was a bit long, but as it should be, especially for someone with little experience. One thing that I didn’t like was that I’m not to sure what answer I got wrong. This would be helpful to know”

“Not sure, but there seems to be a lot of irrelevant information. I read the entire boatsmart study guide and did all the practise exercises. Then I discovered that I had to do the entire process over again online because I wanted to take the exam on line. I spent twice as much time to get this license. You should say very clearly at the beginning to do everything online if you want to do the exam online. I would warn anyone I spoke to about doing everything online so that they would not waste their time.”

“Module 2 should be split up, other than that a great course. Would also recommend that after doing the module quizzes that the answers show so they can be used a learning/studying tool for future reference as well.”

“vert good, however would of been nice to have more info on buoys as we do not have a lot of these in the lakes out in Alberta so the different colors were hard to remember also a lot of repeat on the safety side a lot to take in if one does it all at once.,”

“It’s a good course if you know nothing what so ever about anything but it is painful to endure if you already know he content and just need to get your license. The support from customer service was reall great when we needed it.”

“Great info but I hated the timer. I could read some of the info faster than the timer. Other pages I took longer but it was annoying to wait for the timer on the pages that I had to wait on.”

“found it too slow put me to sleep with how slow the narrator was and there was too many repeated lessons at least for me but i have been around boats all my life just didn't need a money grab license when i had aboat last”
