“Takes way too long. Can read faster than screens allows you to move on. Quizzes should count as the tests. Information is so substantial I worry learners like myself won't remember in the future”

“Found the modules easy, before I started read some people comments I don’t know how they did it in 3hrs cause it’s definitely took me 5. Thought the test was a bit harder but definitely learned a lot”

“Absolutely ridiculous to have to learn about 100 tonne boats and anything related to operating large boats on ocean waters. The test should be broken up into relevance ands area and what exactly the boat is being used for. Small pleasure craft on Ontario lakes vs large boats meant for long trips across the ocean. These modules are insanely long and boring and I’m just glad I don’t have to ever do this again”

“Wasn’t a matter of making me happy. Frustrated at senior age having to go through this for a one weekend fishing trip on a lake 1 hour away I’ve known entire lifetime. Shipping lanes etc just don’t factor in.”

“OMG, This was so hard to do!!, I did it years ago and lost my card and they couldn't re issue me anew one so I did the course over, OMG this was really tough, I did end up doing a 88% but i had to really read and study this course Thanks”

“I really liked the very clear and concise explanation of what was often complex subject matter. Well written, well narrated, and good graphics. Only shortcomings were some minor technical glitches with the program, ie - some videos needed to be prompted, some segments stopped at the end while others continued to play on a loop, and I had to play a couple of segments (including the final one) multiple times before they'd allow me move onto to the next one. A good learning experience overall - wrote the exam in about 25 minutes and scored 94%.”

“I think it would be nice if some of the sections were smaller. That way waiting for the timer wouldn't seem as frustrating. More content per page. And I don 't see the point in excluding where someone went wrong... how are they supposed to learn if not from their mistakes?”
