Terrible customer service. I've called several times during their business hours and emailed them and I have not been assisted with a major issue I had. The website did not allow me to take the final exam, wasting 6 hours of my life going through the modules. The modules force you to wait for a timer to end before moving on to the next slide, even when you finish reading the module 2 minutes before the timer ends.

I have called 3 times, not once did I get through. I am hold as we speak over an hour? I emailed twice. This is the worst customer service I have ever had all for a boating license. HORRIBLE!

AS OUTLINED BELOW AND STILL NO RESPONSE FROM ANYONE. THIS IS HORRIBLE SERVICE. IF ANYONE HAS AN ISSUE - HA HA - GOOD LUCK! “You should no longer "be a proud member" of Campfire Collective. We have an issue with our account - going on for over one month - and after repeated emails (with slow or no response) and trying to call where the number just rings and rings, we are still in limbo. Can't get answers. Got the wrong replacement card. Any way you can help us out here??? I also recently enrolled in the BOATsmart boat course and it would not allow me to apply the coupon my son was given once he completed his course. So far not impressed at all.

The course itself is not very informative. The questions asked at the end of the quiz are sometimes irrelevant or contain information not discussed in the module. Its fairly easy to get the license but that doesn't mean this course is a success. Would you want to be caught on the water with boaters that have half-assed their way through the online quizzes?

If you don't pass the quiz at the end of a module, you have to read the whole module again. Yes, read. You may as well grab a manual for free and then take a test. Plus, pretty sure the quiz scoring is buggy. Easy quiz, confident on 9/10, but failed?

This course is way too long and if you have to retake the quiz you have to re-do all of the lessons in that module. Instead of having it have a time limit to go through them all again you should be able to choose what one you want to look at as it is a waste of time. I was told this. Course would take 3 hours however it took over 6 hours to go through it all.

Most of the questions I was asked on the exam were not covered in the course. The time limit on sections is too long for someone that is a fast reader such as myself, wasted more time sitting and waiting than learning the content. Questions asked on the course quizzes sometimes were from different sections not yet learned!! All in all, does not prepare you very well asides from what buoys mean what.

Beware, no communication if you have issues. I passed my exam and cannot print a temporary card so now boating for me ....... they claim you can print a temporary licence immediately after you get your results.

I was doing the course online and all of a sudden it said that another student redeemed my course and I can't log nack into it. What a painful waste of time and money.

Horrible. Took me 4+ hours to complete. The answers were not covered in the study material. The answers were also very vague. I'm not happy with my experience.

Lessons were repeated multiple times in modules. Animated videos were not playing. Audio would finish and would still have 1 minute on the timer to go to next lesson. Sometimes wouldn’t have audio at all. Took over 4 hours to complete. The whole functionality of the modules and videos were scuffed. Would not recommend this to anyone and can’t believe this is a approved website for a required state certification.

Please remove the timed part of all modules, as well resetting the entire module after failing quiz, and let me know which answers are wrong

Had difficulty navigating the course on my phone - it clearly isn't designed for a mobile experience. Customer service when I reached out was terrible.
