“The course was informative and helped prepare me for the final exam. I averaged 92% on module quizzes and scored 94% on the final. Only knock against the program would be the mandatory time restrictions for each slide. Some slides became sort of repetitive or were quick reads, but you still needed to wait there on screen until the time was up. Other than that an all around good experience.”

“While I was able to turn off the annoying voice that "Read" to me. It was extremely irritating that I had to wait to click next once I read the text. I could read everything on the screen about 6 times in the time it took the stupid clock to tick down. I am smart girl and I can read quickly and learn fast...holding me to a set time per screen drove me nuts. I could have completed the course in about 3 hours if I had been able to read and click through at my own pace. Instead it consumed 7 hours of my time. The information was well laid out, clear and easy to understand, making it extremely easy to learn.”

“Boat Smart has made it very easy for me to get my pleasure craft operator card it was simple to use the online course and relatively straightforward I would recommend BoatSmart to anyone.”

“video animation is alright but seems very childish and needs improvement. Given the importance of the training, the video's need to show the same importance. At the moment gives the impression of cheap low importance.”

“It tells you all you need to know about boating, or most of it at the very least. The only problem is the time required before moving onto the next lesson doesn't match the video. Sometimes you just have to sit there for 10-20 secs and wait.”

“I bought my boatsmart account five years ago and just finally passed my exam. I had countless life issues come up along the way and the support at boatsmart was totally awesome. They helped me every time I needed it and were super good about. Great team. Great experience. Thanks.”

“It covered a lot of good basic boating practices. The only thing I would say is there should be a distinction between the course requirements for a 10 hp fishing boat and a 250 hp 40 ft yacht.”
