“The information provided in the course is very useful. I'm ready to take over from my husband as Captain. The course entailed boating material via videos and script. You could use one or the other or both. This was very user-friendly. The quizzes for each module were well thought-out and relevant. Printable lists available throughout the course was a great idea. The final exam covered the absolute necessary requirements for boating on a recreational basis to emergencies of all kinds. I would (and already have) recommended this course via Boatsmart. Thank you!”

“I was told that this would take three hours it took me nine hours, so not sure why the discrepancy. I think the course needs to be presented as a full day course.”

“Boat Smart is a very good online learning program to prepare you for your pleasure craft test. It makes you think and the learning aids are very relevant and designed to make you a safe knowledgeable boater. I would recommend this program to anyone wishing to get their pleasure craft certificate.”

“I took the boat smart course with some background experience with boating, but was impressed by how comprehensive and how much more information was made available in the course that I was not aware of. Although some people may think the course is too long, but I felt it was appropriate and made me well prepared for the water and operate a boat in a safe and smart manner. I like the fact that all the refresher videos are always readily available on you tube as well as the free re-try's for the course and test. This is a very directed learning and well put together and would recommend this course to any friends or family who are interested in obtaining their boating licence.”

“The modules were easy to read. The only problem I had was the main photo examples did not load or did not show up on my computer screen, they were completely blank. I had to refer to the small pictures that were sometimes available or just go by the verbal description which made it harder with no visual example.”

“The extreme detail in the [ BoatSmart pleasure craft operator study card guide] on each subject ,from the introduction to the Module 7 Boating Emergencies, has made me so much more aware of my surroundings while boating. The ''BoatSmart '' is as it says..I for one Thank you for showing so much care/interest for all boaters safety/ responsibilities while enjoying our lakes and rivers.. I have highly recommended this course to a lot of friends and family, it is a much needed lesson ,to prevent not only injury to yourself but to others, and gaining the knowledge in full detail is the selling feature to this course. Thank you once again..you have put another safe boater on the water.,yours truly GREG MAURE”
