“Well my expectation was that this would be a course that was so basic that it was simply to become a legal boater. There was a lot of basic stuff, which is good for beginners. There was ALSO a lot of new information on types of navigation systems and a few good rescue and recovery tactics. So I learned something as well.”

“Boat smart is a well produced and informative CBT program, great for those who are beginning their experiences on the water, but also challenging enough for those with some experience. The choice of following the verbal discussion in print, or watching the video is great, especially if there is some question with the content.”

“I got my licence but I would have liked to get a copy of my results so I would know where I needed to improve. I did well during the quiz's but the exam could have done better”

“The course was say to follow and you could complete at your desired pace and time. I do feel that quite a number of the videos should be combine into a single video to keep content flow as they relate to the same topic. This would help to improve retention.”

“I would have liked to have known the answers I had wrong so I could correct them. If you read the boatsmart book the modules and exam are fair. I did learn many things I didn't know about boating so thank you.”
