“As I have never driven a boat before I thought this course was intense!...but...it was very informative..and the videos were excellent! I would definately give this course 5 stars! The timing to answer questions was sufficient..and although some I had to think about alot were common sense..”

“It was a great course! It was comprehensive and taught me a lot. However, it took some fiddling to make the video macros work, and oftentimes the video would be over before the timer was done. This brings me to my next point - the fact that the videos auto-replayed and I couldn't turn that off was SUPER annoying.”

“This is a very informative information format, Things I learnt were very important and a lot of common sense but to actually think about the things involved made the course enjoyable and very helpful to keep people ,myself and my boat safe. I highly recommend the Boatsmart course Brad Nesbitt”

“I would have liked to have known what answers I got wrong on the quizzes in order to have been corrected before the exam. In addition, there were questions on the quizzes that were not covered in the specific material until subsequent modules”

“Well laid out content that was easy to follow and relevant. Suggestion, add a sample 50 question quiz at the end, in addition to each chapter. Exam questions are random, helps you prepare for the real one.”

“GREAT on-line course experience. I have been in learning and development for over 20 yrs and have seen all manner of course material delivered. The Boat Smart course was very well done. The script was short and concise, well laid out and the imbedded YouTube videos provided good reinforcement. Well done. Would highly recommend to all.”

“It made me happy because I now have my Boating Licence. But the program lessons need work done on them. There is little direction as to how to proceed with the questions. A question that was asked in a pre test was never answered in the lesson at all for starters so I had to guess at it. Also when doing the lessons it would only allow me to do 1 or 2 lessons a day even if all the answers were correct. The final test shut me out 3 times before I figured out that I had to wait at least 2 to 3 minutes per question before moving on to the next question. Thank You”

“Generally the course was very good. I did not use the videos, rather I read all the content. The amount of time allocated to a lesson was appropriate, however, there were enough of them that had too much time allocated and I spent more time waiting than I liked. Also, you did not cover the navigation lights for tug boats, trawlers, fishing boats, which is fairly important as these can be safety hazards in the dark.”

“There should be the opportunity to see what answers were wrong on the quizzes and test. That would be most beneficial to learning. Without it there is no way to know what area has been misunderstood.”
