“I found the online course to be very detailed and well structured. Allowing me to undertake modules at my pace was fantastic. The final test was not easy however when I received a 90% I jumped for joy. Great application with graphics and content.”

“I liked the format except that I think the modules should be shorter about 25 to 30 lessons. Still keep the number of lessons but add more modules I think there should be more feed back when people miss questions. I understand about not telling which question (s) were wrong but you could tell what part of a module needs re-study.without being to specific. It could be a quick study rather than the whole module but only accessed after the test of that module.”

“Waaaay too long 3 hrs 40 mins?! Come on now...Too much useless stuff... it's not a first aid course so cut all that out. Boat maintenance? It's All different per boat cut it out. How to launch a boat againakways different perboat cut that out too. need more on buoys and marine markers”

Hi Jeremy - thanks for taking the time to provide feedback! We understand the test can take awhile for some students, but the time requirements and content is required by Transport Canada or NASBLA to ensure all students are able to fully understand all content. The requirements are the same across all course providers, and we find many students prefer the convenience of completing the course from the comfort of home, rather than in a classroom setting. Thanks for sticking with it, and safe boating!

“Easy to use web site. Would be good if you could go back after your test and see which questions you got wrong. And see which was the right answer.”

“I thought the modules where lengthy but very informative. My only regret is o didn't get my whole family to do it too. The test had a couple impossible questions but all in all common sense should get you a relatively high score. I got a 94% which I was a bit surprised I scored that high but like I said common sense.”

“Great comprehensive delivery of content. What I did not like was the fact if you did not pass a quiz, I was not able to review the whole module at my leisure but had to go through every timed step. This added considerable time to complete the course. I spent over 27 hours on it!!! It would also be nice to know what answers I had incorrect in the quiz. This way I can focus on my learning needs for each module. I can learn from my mistakes and understand why the answer I picked was wrong. Hope this helps you enhance the great course offered.”
