“Very informative and such a great deal. I love this site. I was able to do this all on my own time. The courses took me about 5 hours to get through all 7 chapters and the final exam took about 40 mins. Very good and can't wait to get my operators card in the mail ! Thank you boat smart !! “Course was good, but in some cases to simplistic, but then again I was raised on the ocean and served in the RCN. Your quiz questions were harder then the Dept. of Transport questions.”

“Overall I’d give the course a 95%. It was very informative and easy to navigate my way thru it. However I did not realize the length of time it would take, also did not appreciate another 50 question exam at the end after being “quizzed” at the end of each module, so 7 quizzes and an exam. There are also a couple grammatical errors in the program (at instead of it) and one quiz question was not even covered in the material until 2 modules later. Overall a very thorough and good course for all boaters.”

“In general I found this course we'll organized and easy. There were a couple errors throughout though - I had a few quiz questions come up that hadn't yet been covered in the course material, and the diagrams about CO poisoning were written as CO2. Other than that, I found the course very useful.”

“Excellent and great set up to convay all the necessary information. Very easy program to use and excellent way to be able to do the course at your own pace. There are some incomplete sentences which are missing words and spelling mistakes making it difficult to understand the odd information being convayed. Otherwise Great course all around.”

“Bought book.. read thru that first.. thinking I'd only need to do the test.. but no, had to work thru the online course... which was repeat of book with a couple extra points.. time consuming. Your online chat person helped me get logged into my course as i was stuck in a loop of some sort... so that was awesome. But was able to complete test & receive my temporary operator's card, so thank you.”

“The course is easy to understand. I liked that you can proceed at your own pace and that it saves you progress. The course is through and I believe I now have a basic knowledge of good boating practice.”

“The online course is smart, relevant and even entertaining. No coffee needed. Robust web interface which could handle me clicking on too many buttons at once. Also, excellent customer service ( use chat button on home page ).”
