“Worst customer service ever, keep items that don’t belong to them , ignore emails, and make you pay for items you don’t have, don’t go near this company if you don’t want ripped off.”

“My experiences at my local Bon Marche have previously always been good - good quality clothes and efficient and pleasant staff. However, I recently bought a pair of black jeans and, as always when buying jeans (usually from elsewhere), I gave them a gentle wash before the first wear. The colour immediately faded tremendously and the jeans look worn and very old. I have worn them once and on that occasion felt that they appeared so old and scruffy that I am going to take them to a charity shop. I know they were very cheap (£18) but I shall not buy jeans at Bon Marche again as this pair has been a complete waste of money. I would advise other customers to avoid jeans from the store too.”

“Walsall Store Visited today (25/10/2019) during my lunch break to collect an on line order so was pushed for time. Tried on & kept 3 of the items but wanted to exchange the 4th for another design. Both female assistants (especially the blonde one) on the till were unprofessional and unhelpful saying the exchange could not be done unless I paid a further £3.60 for an item of the same price, which should have had 20% off. They then offered me my 10% bonus off instead but but then said that couldn't be done either. The manager was called and completed the transaction without any delay even though the blonde assistant kept saying you won't be able to do it!. Unprofessional, rude staff. They could do with some customer service training. Manager was the opposite so, thank you to him. He was calm, professional & treated me with respect”

“West Bromwich Store Went to the above store for nightclothes for my mother. Great sale. Buy one get one half price. Took two nightiies to till to be told they were not in the sale. Assistant checked the rail and said staff had made a mistake with the sale stickers. Good customer service would have been we will honour our mistake but no it was 10%discount or no sale. If the queue wasn't so long I would have argued the point. I will not shop again due to bad customer service. Maybe head office should speak to the staff to get labels sorted.”

“Tried twice this week to shop in wy vele bon marche. Both times too busy with just one member of staff working. Ridiculous on a savings week, wanted to place an online order but knew t would take ages, Have just given up, management need to manage so there is enough staff”

“I always shop at Bonmarche as the clothes are nice and as i am tall i can get trousers to fit also skirts. I had 2 gift vouchers at christmas from my daughtets who know i shop at bonmarche. Have just brought 3 jumpers with the vouchers.”

“It is very easy to order what I wanted online. They offered free click and collect service to my local store. I received a call from the store once my stuff had arrived. The staff was nice and helpful when I went in to pick my order up. Unfortunately I needed to return the stuff I ordered. I returned it at the same store. They gave me my refund without any quibbles. Very easy to use service.”

“This is an easy to navigate website which offers styles of ladies clothing for all ages. The plus for me is that they offer leg length 25" which lots of fashion stores do not.”

“I ordered two dresses on line,we’re £35 down to £28 when I took them back to store for return I was only rebated £22 each dress so it means I lost £ 12 not happy”

“Had to send returns back at my own expense (cannot get to the shop, that's why I ordered online) and even though I sent all the items back, I have not received a postage refund”
